The Swiss Hotel Freetown

The room was clean but basic. The balcony had no seating, which felt like a missed opportunity. A few things in the room didn’t work properly – like the air con, some plugs and light fixtures. The air con was leaking and took multiple days to fix and we had to change rooms in the middle of the night due to the disturbance. On a more positive note, the staff were very polite and courteous. The taxi service available was also very convenient and flexible.

A welcoming boutique hotel in Freetown. Swiss Hotel provides a high level of accommodation and the service from staff is attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet is a nice way to start the day, with fast eggs made to order and other hot and cold foods. Both the indoor and outdoor dining spaces are stylish, and reflect recent renovations, as well as other parts of the hotel. ||For a longer stay, the serviced apartments are a good option, with the same hotel amenities, including breakfast, cleaning, laundry, room service, and access to the gym and pool. It worked out very well for me for a multi-month stay while working. The location is central to many key areas.

The Swiss Hotel Freetown is an exceptional establishment that truly makes you feel at home every time you stay there. The friendly staff consistently goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a comfortable and pleasant experience. The breakfast offered is delightful, providing a great start to the day. Overall, The Swiss Hotel Freetown is a very good hotel that I highly recommend.

Great location, although it is on a busy street. Service is friendly, but too complicated for a hotel of this category. Only one person seems to be allowed to process payments, they weren't able to change money. The pool is clean and nice. AC worked very good, bathrooms are of European standards. Breakfast is very expensive for what you get.

The hotel is on a busy junction so it is noisy for extended period but it is one of the best hotels there!

The hotel manager Ahmed was very helpful and tried to resolve most of my concerns. The apartment are not to standard at all. Thanks to Ahmed and the hotel staff that helped moved me from the apartment building to the main hotel. The food is good.

The Management is awesome and the venue is very clean not too far from Lumley round about. The Hotel offers variety of food with African and International cuisine options. Very nice pool area with a beautiful view at night with the drones it was amazing footage.

I had a one month stay at the swiss hotel as i traveled for work to Freetown. I needed a kitchen as i was following a specific nutrition protocol and spacious room for exercising amd for work. I checked over six hotels to see if they meet my needs on my pre-visit and i chose the swiss (and stayed in two other places in freetown). For the one month stay Apartments at the swiss hotel perfectly met my needs. The general manager Ms Zulu was extremely helpful, caring and accomodating. Staff supported requests and questions very swiftly. I was very happy about my stay at the swiss hotel, and if i ever go back, i wont even think about staying anywhere else. I must say that finding a good lodging in freetown is a challenge, and even a lot more expenaive hotels provided substantially less than the swiss hotel can offer. I d recommend it to all travelers who come for a short mission or a 2-8 week mission.
