Fair value. Pricey with some quality control issues. |I found nail clippings in the bathtub, that was just disturbing. |Bath and Shower gel was two thirds empty.|Check-in did not explain anything about the wi-fi and I had to later ask about the password etc. They did attend to everything after I brough it to their attention. The restaurant was very good. Parking ample and location very central.

This is one of my favourite boutique hotels so far. It is beautiful, the common areas are spacious and charming, the rooms are huge with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The couple that owns the place were gracious and made my stay so much better (At one point, the owner dropped me off at work because the Ubers were acting funny). The staff were warm and delightful. Another highlight was definitely the food! I actually have cravings for it now that I'm home 😅|The gym is modest but I really only needed the rowing machine which was available.|I highly highly recommend the place.

Another wonderful stay at The Syrene in Johannesburg! The deluxe room with pool access was simply divine, offering a perfect blend of luxury and relaxation. The Elm Restaurant served up some of the most delicious food I've ever tasted; every meal was a culinary delight. What's more, the hotel is wonderfully child-friendly, making it a great option for families. The personal touch of having owners Dani and Paul Finney on-site added to the charm, ensuring our experience was top-notch. A five-star boutique hotel that truly goes above and beyond to make your stay exceptional.

A tranquil spot in a peaceful part of Rivonia, not far from the bustle of Sandton. The service is excellent, from the time you enter the gates, you feel appreciated. Our brunch was most enjoyable and the pride in the presentation of their food evident. The Elm Restaurant is perfect for a quiet catch up for breakfast, tea or lunch amongst their other offerings.
