We had such a fantastic experience at The Tack Room in Buckeye, AZ! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and family-friendly - perfect for a casual dinner or a night out. Our kids, who are usually hesitant to try new restaurants, kept telling us how much fun they were having and how delicious the food was. By the time we left, they didn’t want to go home! The menu has great variety and everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was outstanding, and you can really tell the owners put their heart into creating an amazing dining experience. We love that this restaurant is also a part of the Buckeye Equestrian Center, where Rodeo season is soon approaching. Whether you’re looking for the best restaurants in Buckeye AZ, a family-friendly place to eat, or a unique dining option with a quiet backdrop, line dancing, or rodeo going, The Tack Room should be at the top of your list. We can’t wait to come back and make this one of our go-to spots in the West Valley! Highly recommend to anyone searching for great food, a fun atmosphere, and true Arizona hospitality.

There is lots of room to sit. It is very open. The bar sitting is very big with comfortable chairs to sit in, plenty a bar space. There are 2 pool tables very, very, very roomy. Bathrooms are nice and clean. They even have a ATM if you need to get cash out. The staff is very friendly and seem happy and smile a lot like they enjoy working here, even down to the cook. It is a very friendly and welcoming environments. They got 5 big tv's. So you can watch sports or whatever is on the tv's. I would definitely recommend people to come here when they're in the middle of nowhere out here in Buckeye. I really just came here to pass the time while I'm waiting on some to get done with their visit at the prison. Very good choice I made.

The Tack Room in Buckeye is the kind of place where you walk in and instantly wonder if you have stumbled into a Western movie or a witness protection program meeting. Either way, you stay because the food makes it worth the existential dread. I had the 8oz sirloin steak and it was so perfectly cooked I briefly considered leaving my affairs in order and dying right there at the table. Tender, juicy, and seasoned like someone in the kitchen made a deal with the devil himself. Service is friendly in that “we have seen things” kind of way, and the atmosphere feels like it could either host a country dance or a low key bar fight. Either way, you are in for a good time and a great steak.

If you are anywhere near Buckeye Arizona you need to check out this place! The Tack Room has great food awesome service and a cool atmosphere. They offer anything from steaks to burgers and everything in between. Today I enjoyed a chicken fried chicken. It had great flavor The mashed potatoes were just the way I like them and the asparagus was the cherry on top. I cannot wait to come back. My server was Jack he made me feel welcome the moment I stepped in the door. He was very attentive and was very knowledgeable of the menu. Check this place out. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Excellent meal food was hot and plenty of it. Fish tacos and tots with pulled pork. Update 2nd trip. Less than impressed the second time. Steak was overcooked and small and grizzly. Potatoes looked and tasted like instant. Service was not up to par, waitress brought out table that was seated well after us first and then brought out our food.

I have been here a few times now for lunch, and I can confidently recommend it to everyone. I’ve tried several things in the menu from steak, to fish, and burgers and nothing has disappointed. The service is fantastic every time. If you have the privilege of getting Sophie as your server/bartender, you are on the right track. Not only is great at the job, she is fantastic at holding a conversation, and she is just an all around amazing person. Hard working with a smile. That is a rare trait. Thank you Sophie for making my lunch hour that much better. Beautiful and clean establishment. Very reasonable pricing. Can’t wait til the season starts up again cause everything g they have planned sounds like a lot fun.

Had a wonderful dinner at the tack room on a late afternoon.. Rodeo ended this day and there was still excitement in the air. The wait staff was attentive and prompt. Food was fresh and well appointed. Prices were fair and portions were very good. Will definitely return and I highly recommend this hidden gem in the ranch area of Buckeye Arizona. Try the fish & chips and fried pickles!

I wanted to like this place, I wanted to support local businesses. This place makes it hard. I got food poisoning from the pork steak awhile back. This time I ordered the chicken friend chicken. As you can see from the photos it was an insanely undercooked piece of chicken. I didn’t make a scene, I was polite. The bartender (Danielle P, an older weathers looking woman with dentures) offered a discount. Then did not put on the bill. I still tipped, explained that this has happened before. She smiled and did not care. Just said “see you next time.” I still tipped her, at her age since she is working she obviously needs it.

Hayden was welcoming and very informative. Stopped on our way home to Ajo for a beverage. Didn't eat, but love the menu. We will be back. This place is beautiful. Cleaner than a whistle! PS Don't be faked out with the Vet next door and all the corral stuff, Super Duper Tavern & Grill. And the locals are fun & friendly!

My wife and I usually come here for the happy hour--beer, appetizer, and entrees. When we first discovered the place, everything was fantastic. The food was great, portions were generous, and it felt like a solid value. We always ordered two beers, the pretzel appetizer, and later shared a plate of fish and chips. Unfortunately, over our last two visits, we've noticed a steady decline in both food quality and portion size. The pretzels, which used to be thick, soft, and filling enough for two, are now noticeably smaller--about a third of the original size and lacking in texture, like they didn't rise properly during baking. The fish and chips have also shrunk. We used to get two thick, flaky fillets. Now it's thinner cuts and noticeably less fish overall. Even the fries--frozen ones, at that--have been scaled back from a hearty portion to a small girls handful. What was once a satisfying and affordable meal now feels overpriced. At $16, the current fish and chips plate--with just a few fries, a tiny side of slaw, and smaller fillets--no longer offers the value it used to. At best, it's a $12 dish in its current state. We're willing to give this place one more shot to turn things around. If not, we'll be moving on. For now, we're giving it two stars until they address the portion and value issues.

I love the tack room. I had my graduation party here and they were very accommodating and welcoming. I love pretty much everything on the menu. Come check it out, and check out the rodeos going on almost every weekend!

We decided to try the tack room on a Saturday afternoon. We live in Verrado so it's a little bit of a drive but the food was really good. I ordered the train station express, and my wife ordered the tack room burger. The chicken sandwich was very good and the bun was fresh. Jen's burger was good , a little spicy for some reason but she said it had a great flavor. Nice place, bar is really nice. We will return.

Food was good- beef sandwich with tots. the place is large with plenty of parking, clean & friendly. Victoria was my server today, she is awesome, great smile, efficient, friendly & thoughtful. The beef sandwich was a little dry, but the sweet peppers added & AU jus helped, the bread was good, soft & more of an open face sandwich. The TOTS were great, I find it funny to be saying this, they're tots! Honestly though, they were hot, crispy & great most places they're just warm. When in out this way, I will be back..

Went in for breakfast (10/19/24) Breakfast was better than when I went in for lunch a few months ago. I will say, though, they really like using black pepper for seasoning. Maybe they want the flavors to give off more of a southwestern taste? The hash browns were very peppery. Not as bad as the hamburger I had previously ordered for the lunch, but the flavor was definitely there. It's just a little too much for my taste. But breakfast was good.

Great food and a great place to hang out. Menu is nice and simple and service was fast and friendly. Nice bar in the from of the place with plenty of room for groups to eat.

Come to the restaurant because they said is a pet friendly but is not , they need to removed this from the website so people don't waist the time to come here with there pets . I need to come another time without my dog .

My wife and I went for the first time a week ago. It is a large open room with the bar in front and restaurant in the back. It was for me like stepping into a mom and pop restaurant in the Midwest. Great menu and the food was fantastic! My wife had the fish and chips and I had the market steak! A fabulous New York steak! Our server was a cowboy and was very attentive! We will be back to enjoy the great food and the laid back atmosphere!

We had heard amazing things about the restaurant. I belong to a group which I am in charge of doing our monthly dining out. I came in and vetted the Tack Room. Everything seemed like it was going to be perfect for our group Upon our arrival, we were told that female waitress would handle 10 of us and a male waiter would handle the other 10 of us It was extremely evident the female waitress was experienced and very qualified. The male waiter tried his best, but he had also been bartending as well and struggled to take care of our ten The group that was with the female with staff experienced a short wait time in getting the beverages, but overall not too bad Their orders were taken they were served and said for the most part the food was good, but they were disappointed and their steaks having heard amazing reviews. They were not very impressed. I was disappointed for them. Our group on the other hand couldn't seem to have our drinks handled properly. We could not get our food in a timely manner many mistakes were made, and it just was evident. The young man was not trained to work this side of the Restaurant business, his talents or elsewhere We did have a few people that said they would never go back, but I said we would probably try this again but talk to management before we rebooked to see if there were staffing issues or supplier issues. Just what was the problem that this turned out to be such an uncomfortable experience. We have not rebooked yet, but will revisit the possibility probably in April Respectfully Kathi Kucharski

if people only knew how good the food is here, it would be completely packed. I ordered the market steak with mashed potatoes and side salad and without exaggeration this was the best steak I've had in the 3 years I've been in Arizona.

Honestly two times I've gotten sick here. They had to remove the pork chop because it kept making people sick. Never made a scene never made a big deal. I Always tip. Danielle P was my bartender didn't seem to care at all at this grossly undercooked chicken. Just smile lid and said see you next time. Still gave her a tip, she smiled like a smart Alec. Awful service, facade of a menu, they spent too much to build it and clearly are in way over their heads.

We were excited to try it out for Father's Day. The food was priced right for the steak special but we had to wait almost an hour to get it. My son had french toast sticks and avacado toast, seriously they were the best. I wish I would have ordered that. I got the deca breakfast burger and it was very dry. The french fries were the best amount of salt for sure. My hunny's steak was over cooked, burnt a bit for asking for medium so that was a bummer. I enjoyed the cowgirl punch and the bloody mary though.

Love the ambiance in the restraunt and the staff are super friendly and polite but it took forever to get our food and it was not a busy evening. We had heard amazing things about the food and were excited to try some things. We are foodies and a few things on their menu sounded amazing but ended up being not so amazing. The mac and cheese was dry and unflavorful, fried fishy was nasty greasy, the chicken tenders were a little dry and the chips and salsa was gross. 100% will not be back.

Stopped in after church. Three words: TRAIN STATION EXPRESS. Super crispy chicken spicy sandwich. I whole heartedly recommend it. One of the best I have ever had. Side note: I am a tater tot fan and they have seasoned tots that taste like BBQ potato chips. For me I prefer regular ole crispy. But overall the place looks beautiful and Caity was the best server. Stop in!!!

Service was great but the food sucks. Best thing on our plate was the asparagus and that's sad. Burger wasn't good. Beef sando not good. Fries not good. Onion rings yuck. Chips/salsa gross. Good happy hour though.

Good food. Clean Restaurant. Good service. Not much more you can ask for! Ordered the train station and it was very fresh and tasty. Will definitely be coming back.

Stopped in for lunch. Staff was friendly. Very spacious. I ordered the summer salad with grilled chicken, it was fantastic. Our waitress, Malda, said it's even better with the sirloin - next time. My wife had the DD burger and she loved it. Very happy we stopped here, will definitely go again.

The staff here are exceptionally friendly, consistently. Everyone who has ever waited on us or greeted us at the front is noticeably friendly and conversational; something we highly value these days where social skills seem to be generally declining otherwise. Definitely recommend, and the food is always great.

Food is not good. Biscuits and gravy are horrible. Our eggs were way over cooked, even the pancakes were not good. Only thing that tasted good was the tater tots. I Wish the restaurant was more "western"style like it used to be.

2.5 out of 5 stars. We were excited to try it because it's the nicest sit down restaurant that was closest to us. The ambiance is cool the place was clean and I love the decor. The service was great and our server was attentive. The food was the downfall for me. We ordered the onion rings as an appetizer and they were pretty decent. I ordered the calamity Jane no pink & it was pink :( the burger was supposed to come with bacon and it didn't. The wedges as you can see were hard in the middle. My husband ordered the fried chicken that came with Mac and cheese and jalapeño corn bread. The chicken was good, the hot honey sauce was good also, but they were more like oversized wings. The Mac was kind of flavorless, but the bread was decent. I am willing to give this place another try because like I said, we were so excited that it was so close to us. I will update on the next visit.

Highly recommend! The food is great and the service is even better! It is a diamond-in-the-ruff.

When in Buckeye for events at the South Buckeye Events Center visit the Tack Room restaurant. Newly remodeled with clean, comfortable dining room and restrooms. Plenty of parking out front or a short walk from the arenas. Service was prompt and attentive. Food came quickly and in ample portions. If you're not into concession stand food and want a sit down atmosphere don't miss it. Reasonably priced as well.

I'm OBSESSED, so good, really nice people, delicious food, and the new menu is so great.

Yesterday I was here. I don't know what goes on in this restaurant. I witnessed a manager go up to a group of older women for something he thought he overheard according to my waitress. She said the whole management team is a joke. The group of ladies left looked like due to harassment. The bartender was loud enough bad mouthing the ladies. Saying... they lived there and were horrible tippers. I will not return again. Wasn't my first visit but definitely my last.

The food was amazing! The staff was absolutely fantastic. The remodel is stunning, including great restrooms.

The Tack Room has great service with a wonderful ambiance, and the food is very good. We stopped in for a quick bite when traveling and grabbed a burger, tots, and fried chicken with cornbread, all the food was very fresh and good, and the quality of product is top notch. They also have a full bar with drink and happy hour specials. The facility is clean and comfortable with ample parking and seating.

Saturday Brunch Menu with Desiree was fantastic!! Tasty, large portions with incredible service!!! Definitely a destination worth making routinely!!! Beautiful restaurant in serenity!!

The food was good. Nice portions. Server Victoria was attentive and friendly. Didn't know what atmosphere to expect. It was really open on the inside. Would've liked a more secluded area. I was in a strapless sun dress and felt completely overdressed.

First time here and not disappointed! Food was very tasty, did have to return chicken as potatoes and gravy were lukewarm. but once replaced with hotter food, was delicious.. Fish and chips very good, hot and crisp. Our server, Victoria did an excellent job, very friendly and attentive. Place is very clean. Will definitely be back!

Went here for dinner at 5pm. The place is nicely decorated and clean. I liked the ambiance. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The food was pretty good too. We tried the loaded tater appetizer. Very tasty with shredded pork and blanco queso. I had the 3 fish tacos. They were breaded and fried with some cabbage and were delicious. They came automatically with a side of fries and beans. Husband had the turkey club and it came with a choice of sides. He picked the baked loaded potato. He said the sandwich was unbelievably delicious. The cousin had the roast beef sandwich and she picked the sweet potato fries and they were waffle fries. The food was good and so was the service! Definitely would go back. They were not busy at all. Also the choice of beer on tap was good too.

Our first time...server was friendly and attentive. For it being fairly empty for a Saturday evening, our meal took longer than it should have. My partner ordered a breaded tenderloin (a mid-west tradition) was only warm and not the traditional thinner style. Came with tater-tots, onion rings were the order, they provided a side of onion rings. I ordered the sirloin steak medium rare expecting some pink. My steak was hot, but no pink...was flavorful. My sweet potato fries were room temp. Doubt we'll return.

The Tack Room has great service, amazing food and overall just a fun spot to enjoy in Buckeye. I recommend the burger and fried pickles. Go to Tack Room now to support a local Buckeye business.

The food was great! I got the fried chicken and it was great! The corn bread that came with it was good the mac n cheese was good too! I loved The Buckeye's Twist! So tasty! Thanks Cymery for being a great waitress!

We enjoy going to the take room for drinks and lunch. They have great pricing and love how relaxed it is.

Have been there several times since they opened. Burgers were great, ribeye steak was a miss. The steak was cooked and sliced up, served on top of sweet potato mash. By the time the steak reached the table it was cold and all the steaks juice had leaked out on the kitchen cutting board. Do not like my steak pre cut. The size of what was served was rather small for the cost. I hope they soon offer a real steak meal; steak, potato of choice (baked) and a small salad. Don't mind paying at all for a good meal. There is no notation on the menu as to how many ounces for each steak, I'm guessing this was about 10 ounces. We will be back and look forward to trying several other menu items.

Great food, ambiance, and a friendly wait service. The remodel is awesome! I just wished they played some of the older country music... they needed some Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Charlie Pride, George Jones, and Marty Robbins to round it off!

New place. The lighting is more suited for a corporate office rather than a western theme on a ranch. Food is good but limited, booze selection is good, staff is super friendly but the ownership might want to rethink the "no lap dogs" policy considering that half of potential customers at the equestrian events are travelling with their unwelcome furry friends. Come on guys! Think it through! Your clients are cowboys and cowgirls, not the Wall Street lunch crowd.

bomb ass steak. so juicy and cooked right. mashed potatoes were a little vinegar-y but not bad. mac and cheese was good, nothing great. Buckeye Twist cookie was amazing. hot and tasty. but the steak is the star here. no pic cause i eated it all

If your looking for too many people, bad music, unfriendly service then unfortunately this is not the place for you. This is not the place for you! Delicious steak dinner on Saturday nights, casual environment and not stuffy or crowded.

Nice atmosphere, great drink prices, limited menu but food is good, service is good.

Crappy service and food. What a hole in the wall. Get some class Buckeye....I have never been in a establishment where I heard the manager speak openly and negitive about other people who live in that town.....
