The Tamarind Village

Wonderful apartment with double bedrooms, absolutely clean and with a view to the sea. Clean towels always supplied, good tv coverage and excellent free wifi. The hotel itself is quite quirky to get around, but once you get to know your way, no issues. Ate at the hotel restauranet and room service many times, very good quality and the overall service is outstanding. Staff are all brilliant. Will certainly book there again the next time I visit.

We had an absolutely wonderful evening at Tamarind Mombasa! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable — warm, attentive, and personal. Special thanks to Esther and Halima who went above and beyond to make our dining experience truly memorable. Their attention to detail, friendliness, and genuine care elevated the entire evening.||The ambiance is breathtaking with beautiful views and a serene atmosphere that perfectly complements the exquisite food. Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. The seafood, in particular, was outstanding — easily some of the best we’ve had anywhere.||Thank you to the entire Tamarind team, and especially Esther and Halima, for making our visit so special. We look forward to returning on our next trip to Mombasa. Highly recommended!

As always, an incredibly pleasant stay at the Tamarind Village, Nyali. All the hotel staff are very polite, welcoming and helpful. We had a suite, which was very spacious, clean and had a great balcony and views across the water. The kitchen had sufficient cutlery and crockery, and the fridge was well stocked.||Our meal in the main restaurant was really great, tasty and well presented.||This is a venue to return to many times. We never get bored of staying there.||Great job.|Thank you.

Juma was super attentive and a great server! The food was very good and promptly served. I will definitely be coming back. The view is fantastic and the dinner was great. I am sure that if you come here you will have a wonderful meal and a nice evening.

My meal was absolutely divine - seafood platter. It was fresh, cooked incredibly well and would have been the best seafood I’ve had in a very long time!|The service was incredible! Everyone who served us was kind and so attentive, always ensuring we had what we needed.|The atmosphere was calm and very enjoyable, the venue stunning and the views we just divine! I highly recommend to anyone who is staying here!

It was perfect! Everything was perfect. Highly recommend. Mwateri was very pleasant and sooo sweet! |Kingdom shako was great as well and super nice. Answered all of our questions and made sure our drinks were filled. We loved it. If you are looking for something relaxing as a couple this is perfect.

I had a great experience at Tamarid! As someone trying prawns and crab for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised, both were incredibly flavorful, tender, and not at all overwhelming. The dishes were well-balanced, with just the right mix of sweetness and spice. A special shoutout to Damaris, who was absolutely wonderful, kind, and very knowledgeable. She made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend Tamarid for anyone curious about seafood or just looking for a well-crafted meal in a warm setting.

Amazing customer service and hospitality!! They were so respectful and helped us with everything. Food was so so good as well we got the sushi boat. Over all everything was really good and the view is AMAZING with a view of the beach. If your thinking about going this is your sign.
