Easy accessible from Zhongshan MRT exit 3 (staircase) or exit 4 (escalator). Room was a bit dusty but the housekeeper did a pretty good job to clean the toilet (sparkling shower head) greeted us daily. 4 bottles of water with jacuzzi bath for my room which we enjoyed. There is even a tv inside the bathroom! Breakfast was adequate, they tried to change some dishes daily. The reception staff can be a little friendlier. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

location wise super convenient - right outside an MRT exit and you’re able to walk from Zhongshan MRT to Taipei Main Station via the underground mall. for the room itself: - the shower/washroom was great! large area with the toilet and shower separate. shower gel and shampoo was great too. - the room itself was a little squeezy though. - carpet/bedding was definitely quite dusty the first day we checked in. it kinda cleared up over a 1-2 days.

I recently stayed at Tango Hotel Nanshi and wanted to share my experience. Pros: First and foremost, the location is fantastic! It’s within walking distance to a vibrant shopping area and conveniently close to the subway station, making it easy to explore the city. For those who enjoy unwinding after a long day, the room features a jet bathtub, which is a delightful addition. I’ve stayed at other Tango Hotels in the past, and it seems that this luxurious amenity is a consistent feature across their properties. Cons: However, there were a few downsides during my stay. The room and shower felt a bit cramped compared to other Tango Hotels I've visited in the neighborhood. Additionally, being placed on the 3rd floor meant I could catch the scent of 鸡蛋仔 wafting in from the street, which, while delicious, was a bit overwhelming at times. I also noticed some noise from outside, which could be bothersome for light sleepers; the sound and smell insulation could definitely use some enhancement. Lastly, I was surprised to find that there were no toothbrushes or toothpaste provided in the room. This was quite inconvenient, especially for international travelers like myself who might not have thought to bring these essentials. Overall, while there are some areas for improvement, the hotel’s excellent location and relaxing jet bathtub make it a decent choice for travelers. If you can look past the minor inconveniences, it’s still a solid option for your stay.

Excellent location close to Zhongshan Station, shopping malls and underground street. The hotel room was on the smaller size, sound proof but a bit dark. The bed & pillow was comfortable. Enjoy the jacuzzi bath tub after a long day out.

It was for me the second hotel to stay at during my first ever trip to Taiwan. The location is absolutely great - very close to Ximen area, has lots of small independent shops and big brands around. The vibes on the streets around are fun, there are buses and metro lines very close by. Staff members were cute and helpful, however I noticed they don’t have chairs to sit on during long hours - I don’t understand it and find it extremely bothersome. The room itself has a kettle, a microwave, smart lighting system and a very pampering Japanese toilet and a tab. Cons: the air condition panel was annoying to deal with, mini bar wasn’t cold enough, the shower head made squeaky noises, there is only one elevator. I felt the lack of self-service coin washer and dryer - finding the laundromats outside while raining is no fun.

The room is dated, dirty and dusty. There are many stains in the toilet. The room is very dimmed as well. The only positive about this hotel is the location.

The location is the best selling point of this hotel. Love how convenient it is and it’s near to the Zhongshan area where there are many nice cute shops around. The only downside is the hotel is actually a little old but it’s well-maintained so nonetheless it’s still not that bad! They should consider replacing the old chair for the study table, it's bulky for the small room, uncomfortable and hard to move the wheel around. 😕The room also comes with a bathtub! 😃

The only great part of the hotel would have to be just the location. Nothing to fault about it as there's lots to eat and shop in the area. However, perhaps it's a rather aged hotel, you can tell from various parts of the room that it screams WORN OUT. The housekeeping only does the basic. Throughout our 6 days' stay, they didn't vacuum the room at all. A piece of tape was left untouched on the floor beside our bed for days. :/ Room size may be on the bigger side but the odd layout of furniture makes the room feels small. I would not feel like being in the room though we had to at times due to the typhoon season. Lighting was not quite sufficient. Wifi only worked after we called the front desk to feedback and they brought in a booster. If they know of this problem, why not just correct it fundamentally? Hmmm... For the price point, I think there are cleaner better hotels nearby.
