I picked this hotel due to its location and proximity to the MRT (Zhongshan stn). It's a 1 min walk from exit 3!
The hotel room is actually quite roomy and decent with a big bed. There is an additional glass sliding door to act as a noise barrier which was nice.
The bed, bedding, pillows we're really comfortable. The mini fridge is isolated behind a cabinet door to keep it quiet. There are also dark-out curtains.
Housekeeping cleans up the room and replaces towels everyday. I appreciate coming back to a "new room" every day.
There are some short-comings that kept me from giving the Tango Nanshi 5 stars:
1) the room is dusty. I wish they would vacuum better! There are dust above the hangers in the closet, the water bottles collected dust, the carpet edges show visible dust.
2) there's a giant green EXIT sign above the door that stays brightly lit 24/7!!
3) the dark-out curtains don't close all the way and lets in a gap of light in the morning.
4) there are no toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.) other than hand soap. I'm not sure if this is a Taiwan-thing or if the hotel had these for pickup at the front desk. If they did, they didn't mention it during check-in. I used what I brought so didn't bother asking.
Pro tip: you can borrow an umbrella for day use from the front desk.
