I recently stayed at Tango Hotel Nanshi and wanted to share my experience.
Pros:
First and foremost, the location is fantastic! It’s within walking distance to a vibrant shopping area and conveniently close to the subway station, making it easy to explore the city. For those who enjoy unwinding after a long day, the room features a jet bathtub, which is a delightful addition. I’ve stayed at other Tango Hotels in the past, and it seems that this luxurious amenity is a consistent feature across their properties.
Cons:
However, there were a few downsides during my stay. The room and shower felt a bit cramped compared to other Tango Hotels I've visited in the neighborhood. Additionally, being placed on the 3rd floor meant I could catch the scent of 鸡蛋仔 wafting in from the street, which, while delicious, was a bit overwhelming at times. I also noticed some noise from outside, which could be bothersome for light sleepers; the sound and smell insulation could definitely use some enhancement.
Lastly, I was surprised to find that there were no toothbrushes or toothpaste provided in the room. This was quite inconvenient, especially for international travelers like myself who might not have thought to bring these essentials.
Overall, while there are some areas for improvement, the hotel’s excellent location and relaxing jet bathtub make it a decent choice for travelers. If you can look past the minor inconveniences, it’s still a solid option for your stay.
