Indoor and outdoor mall of interesting shops. Beautiful building with stained glass and wood. Some wonderful finds. Take time to stroll and browse - don’t miss HAPA for imaginative items from local creators. Tea room, used-clothing store, gift shops, jewellery, old-fashioned apothecary... There’s also a cinema. Fabric shops and Bellbird Bakery are among the Boardwalk tenants. Bellbird has some good vegan options.

What a beautiful place! There are plenty of shops, though I have to admit it's generally on the pricier side. Still, I loved browsing and admiring the stunning architecture. The staff I encountered were all very friendly, and the car park has plenty of space.

I loved The Tannery. There are so many great little shops, and it's such a beautiful shopping centre, and very different to your typical mall. The cinema has great service, and the other shops are so unique. For example, there's an apothecary, a sewing shop, a 2nd-hand book library, a 2nd-hand clothes store, and many more! Can't wait to go back.

A beautiful boutique mall with a vintage vibe Even though I’ve lived in Christchurch for most of my life, I only visited this gem for the first time while attending a wedding, and I was absolutely blown away. It offers a great variety of shops, fantastic places to eat and drink, and a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for unique shopping experiences or just a place to unwind, The Tannery is well worth a visit

Cool area, has multiple different shops for a variety of different things, including some cool, little cafes and chocolatiers. Smiths Bookshop is also a great place to find cool, second-hand books. The Italian supermarket in the area has great items, too, though it is quite expensive, so don't go impulse buying, cause you'll probably regret it when it comes to paying.

Great place to visit. Probably will be one of my fav choice to drop by if you're in Christchurch.

This market is great. I particularly love the Cassels beer, the apothecary for custom teas built to order, and the dumplings. There are some very cool clothing stores and even a barber inside.
