The food was absolutely exceptional — beautifully presented, full of flavour, and clearly made with high-quality, fresh ingredients. What makes this place even more special is their commitment to supporting local producers from across South Africa. From boutique wine estates to small-scale farmers and makers, every element on the menu reflects a deep respect for homegrown quality — including locally made cheeses, biltong, desserts, etc. But what truly stood out was the service. Kirsty and Enoch were outstanding — warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive. They went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of professionalism and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy fine dining with a farm-to-table feel, paired with world-class wines and exceptional service — all while supporting local. We’ll definitely be back!

I love the tasting room! They are so innovative and creative with their tastings. The service is incredible and the management goes above and beyond to make sure your event is a success. We hosted my friends bachelorette dinner and it was a night to remember. Perfect for any function or catch up ! One of my favourite places in PTA.

The food was rich flavourful and delicious I recommend the wings. The service was polite and efficient (the restaurant was booked for a different event but we weren't neglected. The atmosphere is so beautiful sunset going to evening and the music was great. I'm definitely coming back. It is affordable it just depends what you want also their non alcoholic drinks are very limited mostly tea/coffee/water

The wine tasting was a highlight, with the staff doing a great job of guiding us through the selection. The food was really good, with each course of the tasting menu being flavorful and well-presented. The service was good too, with the staff being attentive and helpful. Overall, my visit to The Testing Room was a nice experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal

We had an exquisite experience!! They surpassed all our expectations with their Bubbly Brunch (champagne and food tasting). From the luxurious ambiance to the impeccable service, every moment was a delight. A must-visit for those seeking culinary perfection. The Tasting Room will definitely be seeing us again!!

We had the "winemakers lunch" on a Sunday and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Service is attentive, relaxed and professional. The atmosphere is welcoming. The food is a good mixture of well prepared standards like a nice piece of rump steak, and creative inventions like the cabbage salad with feta and fried capers. One of the best meals I have had in a long time. We will be back.
