What can I say -The Tasty has out done themselves with a brand new menu starting tonight! From the minute we walked through the door we were greeted by happy welcoming people who made sure every step of the way we were enjoying our drinks& meals and made sure we wanted for nothing. To start off you have to try the cornbread it’s like no other - it’s moist and flavorful and they top it with honey butter with some flaked sea salt that was perfection- I licked my fingers to get every morsel it was so good. The duck dumplings are a classic dish for them and we devoured them they were scrumptious -so tender, flavorful and in a delicious broth. The street corn salad had a light lime dressing - not over powering and served on a bed of crunchy greens/ it really paired perfectly with everything else. Now for the main entrees beef cheek which was beyond tender no knife required to cut and coated in a decadent sauce that reminds me of a Moroccan/ Mexican sauce with a complimentary green chilies dipping sauce you want to drink and pickled onions- jalapeños and radishes that brings the dish all together. My brother got the noodles which are a classic favorite at the Tasty with tamari chicken, veggi slaw and peanuts. The desserts are all homemade so even though we were stuffed we had to get carrot cake to go. The frosting is not overly sweet and the cake is so moist you can see the carrots and pineapple in each mouthful of yummy goodness. We will be back to try more of the new menu- every table around us were saying how good their food was so you can’t go wrong with whatever you pick!!! Maria’s service was outstanding and helped made it a wonderful dining experience!

We were so blown away on our roadtrip to cape cod from Boston. We had no expectations and just wanted a place for dinner but holy cow we loved every single dish we ordered. The duck dumplings are so creative yet authentic to my Chinese home cooking at the same time. The cod was so tender and the coconut curry gave a warm and cozy feel (so yummy that we didn’t even get a photo before we ate the whole thing). And finishing all of that with miso caramel chocolate pot crème was just chef’s kiss.

It was our first time here but it definitely won’t be our last. From the moment we stepped in the front door we felt the warm welcoming atmosphere. Our waitress Maria was exceptional as were their scrumptious farm to table dishes. We will definitely be returning. Well worth the 45 minute drive from the Cape!

Google
The Tasty provides. The Tasty is effectively two restaurants in one. There’s the regular menu, then there’s Tuesday Noodle Nights. I have been the very fortunate enjoyer of both over the past few years. I would love to make some singular recommendations, but the truth is I’ve never had a disappointing item. This is one of those places that are phenomenal for trying new things. If it sounds interesting, order it - it’s going to be great. This goes for their food and their cocktails. And is especially true if you think to yourself that it sounds like an odd combination of ingredients… Trust in the tasty, it will be good. Additionally, the staff has always been great - regardless of how busy they are. All around, many great meals and experiences at The Tasty. 100% recommend.

Google
Such a cute restaurant! So happy we finally tried it! It had been on our list to try for awhile. The menu was wildly good, so many things I wanted so we’ll have to go back. I got the halibut, and my husband got the pork schnitzel, both so amazing! The cocktails were so tasty (haha) and cute! Some are batch made daily, which is fun and so smart! Can’t wait to go back and try more things! Our server Maria was wonderful, she gave great advice and we were never waiting for her.

Google
Had lunch yesterday with a girlfriend. We both got the pastrami bomb explosion grilled cheese sandwich with a side salad…DELICIOUS!!!! I never go out for lunch but this was such a treat and it was perfect! The service, the food and atmosphere made for the BEST Saturday afternoon! Will definitely be going back!

The vibe at this place is perfection!! Kale salad and Patty Melt were amazing. Everything is seasonal so the menu will change but the drinks alone are worth it!!

Google
My cousin and I had a delightful meal at The Tasty in Plymouth! The restaurant uses local, high-quality ingredients to deliver a flavorful and impactful experience. I especially enjoyed the cornbread, made with ground corn from the historic Jenney Grist Mill. This adds charm and deliciousness to the meal. Missy and Marie greeted us with friendly and attentive service. I highly recommend The Tasty to anyone who appreciates local flavor and wants something a little different.

Yelp
This great spot looks like you might walk right past it. But, its worth your while to go. The food is excellent. The fries are the best we have had. Desserts, like the entrees are a family business. The reuben ingredients are prepared and smoked by the owner; the desserts aby the MIL. The server was terrific. Adam was gracious, informative and very accommodating. Its a cosy, relaxed atmosphere and thoroughly enjoyable.

Yelp
I can't believe we haven't tried this place before. Everything was amazing. So "tasty" and so much flavor. Such original dishes. And dessert, OMG!! Our waitress, Maria, was wonderful. So attentive and friendly, and the restaurant was modern but quaint. You have to try this place!

Chris J.

Yelp
Absolutely loved it. Cute little place. Great service. Very inviting. Flood was fantastic. All locally sourced and farm fresh. Really good spot. Highly recommend.

Stephen S.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants in Plymouth. Located downtown on Court Street. No reservations. If you can't get a table right away put your name in then wait across the street at the Honey Bee cocktail lounge. The Tasty has a creative menu. The food is delicious. The service good. Fashionable spot creates a good ambiance. A solid restaurant.

Yelp
We tried Tuesday's weekly Asian /Noodle night and the food was fabulous. We got there at 6 and the placed was packed. We were seated five minutes later and our excellent server took our drink orders - a glass of delicious Morgan unoaked California Chardonnay and the Tiger Mama gin-based cocktail. Both were great. For food, we shared the very generous and delicious Bang Bang Chicken bites followed by my Dan Dan Noodle bowl with ground pork and my fellow diner enjoyed Salmon Bi Bim Bap. All five star. We love this place. Nice people run it and the food is tip top. We will be back.

Yelp
Loooooveed the food and the service! Everything was absolutely delicious. Can't wait to visit again

Yelp
I must say, IT WAS TASTY! Asian infusion and very good! Very good noodles and fries. Shall return. William Perrelliphoto.com Instagram:perrelliphoto

Yelp
I'm still drooling thinking about my meal at Tasty. The grilled cheese with a mix of cheeses, apple, and special mustard was love at first bite. My brother's fried chicken was finger-licking good, and my partner in crime's burger was a flavor explosion. The fireplace was cozy and beautiful, and the view of the harbor from where I sat was breathtaking. The staff were friendly and efficient, working together like a symphony.

Mike B.

Yelp
The food was served accurately and promptly. Little pricy but good quality and good service.

Julie M.

Yelp
We had Maria C. as our waitress last night and she was very welcoming and friendly. We had the Duck dumplings, Salad, Veggie Tart and Chicken wings, all amazing! Loved that items were seasonal menu and that they were sourced from local farms! Highly recommend and will be back again when we visit from Chicago! We also loved seeing "Oma" on the menu as we too are German ancestry and it made it really feel like home and our Oma. Loved the dessert! My mom had the Pot du crème and I had the Oma Carrot cake.

Brian A.

Yelp
Mike, the owner and his whole team made it a great dinner date for my wife and myself. The atmosphere the vibe, the food the drinks were all top-notch. If you want to go somewhere and have a great meal and great drinks and not feel rushed out, this is the place to go.

Joseph R.

Yelp
Just so you know, when you charge a customer a kitchen staff salary fee it means you're a sad businessman and an unfair manager. Pay people a decent wage and raise your prices if you must. Then blow us away with the food and the price increase is moot. But don't slack by passing along your wage exploitation problems to the customer

Rob A.

Yelp
Excellent chicken entree with Asian vegetables. Nice servers, great beer. One of the best spots on Court St,

Kathy W.

Yelp
Ordinary, overpriced, slow service. I just wandered in before a concert, wish there had been a posted menu as I might have moved on. Adding chicken to my dish was an additional $10. Ridiculous. Not a place I'd return to or recommend.

Chris P.

Yelp
First time here. I wish I counted the number of times the word "Wow" Came out of my mouth! Everything was fantastic, the food, the staff, the cocktails, even the music. Maria was awesome, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable! We got the duck dumplings, short rib, pesto pasta, and pot de creme for dessert, all were 10/10. Real fresh made pasta and dumpling wraps. Our first time in plymouth and I'm so so happy we came here!

Linda M.

Yelp
Food and service were both wonderful. Our meal was delicious. Highly recommend. Farm to table ingredients and home baked desserts. Catchy drink menu and very friendly, attentive but not obtrusive service.

Emily J.

Yelp
We love the tasty and their sister restaurant honey baby for their amazing cocktails and good vibes. Truly the best cocktails you can get outside of the city, we've loved every single one. Our wonderful server Maria recommended we try their house dessert this time, the pot du creme, a Belgian chocolate custard with a delicious caramel on top. It was incredible and we'll be back for it!

Taylor S.

Yelp
Great drinks, great food! Our server Julie was amazing, very attentive and a great conversationalist. Kayleah created a great environment as well. The bartender Matt was awesome and rad! Would definitely recommend and come again!

Jingzhou M.

Yelp
Came here on Tuesday night for dinner and found out it's a noodle night. However, we wanted to try the nori fries as it was recommended by my colleague. We were glad that the waitress was willing to make a special order for us to try it. The fries were very flavorful and crispy, totally different from any regular fries we ever had! Noodles were a good twist of Asian fusion style and good in their own way. Will come back to try some more items from the regular dinner menu.

Jo H.

Yelp
This was our second time eating at The Tasty and both experiences were excellent. 2 of us called earlier in the day and were pleased there was a 5:00 opening that evening. FOOD: Outstanding. We got the Nori fries as an app and will be sure to do that again! The fries had excellent flavor and the portion size was huge. Seemed like a bottomless bowl! Plenty for 2 or even up to 4 to share. The cod fritters were tasty. I had the noodles and was pleased how flavorful everything was. The chicken was thinly sliced and moist, as were all the veggies. We will likely come back on their "noodle night" to try out some other noodle dishes. The scallops and muscles were well cooked, although there was unique spicing which we were not sure we liked. It came with some toasted bread to soak up the broth. A personal preference would to have it served over a light pasta rather than the bread but we understood what the chef was going for. SERVICE: Lisa is a personable and attentive server with a wonderful sense of humor. She knew everything about each item on the menu and took great care of us throughout our meal. BAR: Chardonnay was $12 a glass and an average pour. There are many options, including cocktails, although I did not try any. ATMOSPHERE: Warm and inviting. There are not a lot of tables inside, and due to COVID they are not operating at full capacity, so I'd recommend calling ahead. Soon the weather will be warm enough to eat outside. There is a section in front near the sectioned-off sidewalk which will add to the seating options. Even when we ate inside, our table had a wonderful view of a bit of the ocean down the street. We will be back to The Tasty again!

Christina B.

Yelp
I just cannot say enough good things about this place! don't let the limited menu fool you- everything is amazing, farm fresh and made with love! must try for either lunch or dinner. It's my new favorite in Plymouth.

Michael S.

Yelp
Great service and food. Friendly staff in an intimate setting Food was fresh and unique.

Ruta J.

Yelp
We had the best family dinner this past Friday night! The food and drinks were amazing and our two boys loved the duck dumplings! The old fashioned is the best on the south shore! And thank you Maria for being so welcoming to our family!

Joanne R.

Yelp
First time but won't be the last. Friendly responsive staff, delicious food and incredible drinks. Don't miss this restaurant. Love Maria.

Morgan D.

Yelp
Nothing special. Service was okay - I think I just expected better since there were hardly any other parties there.

Jen V.

Yelp
I've been here a couple times since moving to MA and haven't been disappointed. The food menu is smaller and some items rotate but they've all been really good! It's small inside with limited seating but it's a nice cozy vibe. Sat at a table for one visit, and at the bar for the other- both were great service experiences! Also check out their sister spot, honey baby, across the street!

Lexie R.

Yelp
We came here for my fiancés birthday dinner and wow was it good! If you're looking for an incredible meal, look no further. They have a variety of different cuisine offerings and they use fresh ingredients (local whenever possible!). Cocktails come in fun flasks (reminded us of Alice in wonderland) and are a bit on the stronger side but very well done. The menu rotates and we are definitely coming back to try more meals!

Andrea P.

Yelp
I was on my way to another restaurant and saw a waitress coming out from The Tasty and immediately changed my plans because the food looked so good. Generally, they require reservations but were gracious to make room and I couldn't be more grateful. I've had several Michelin Star meals, and The Tasty is on par with every Michelin meal I've ever had. It's very hard to write this review because I don't think there's anything I could say that would adequately convey the excellence and wonder of their food. Every single bite of what I ordered was pure bliss. The Tasty doesn't just offer a stunning atmosphere and incredible food, but a rare experience where you're completely present in the moment because the quality of the food and brilliance of the flavor combinations demand your full attention. I wish I lived closer to Plymouth because this is one of my favorite restaurants I've ever tried. I tried many restaurants in the Plymouth area, and I didn't encounter any that come close to competing with The Tasty. A month later, I'm still thinking about this meal. Five stars doesn't do this restaurant justice, it's simply one of best.

Frank F.

Yelp
why don't you trying paying your back staff reasonable wages and not put that responsibility on the backs of your customers?!?!?!? won't be going here!!

Theresa A.

Yelp
WOW. The food here was so amazing! Went here to celebrate our anniversary and sat at the window. The place is small but we were able to walk in and find a seat. Our appetizer was the ricotta toast and I am still dreaming about it. My husband ordered the salmon and I ordered chicken with broccoli and they were really good, with a spicy kick to it. The service was also good, we had a few people checking on us. They accidentally brought us drinks after we paid our bill and didn't charge us for them. Definitely a great place.

Steven B.

Yelp
What a find - Tasty! The CHEF IS INCREDABLE! We sat at the bar and watched the drinks being made...interesting, intriguing, and all that had them seemed raved about them. We will go back when I am not hauling a boat to the Cape. We were on a Tuesday night and the Chef has a special noodle menu that night. We had the Singapore Street noodles that were to die for. Everything fresh and cooked perfectly. BEST DINNER in a long time. We also shared the Scallop Bacon Spring rolls -they are to die for. My mouth is still watering for the crispy fried exterior and tasty seafood interior. We loved the lemonade - tasted fresh and handmade. A little surprised when the price was over what was on the menu - but only by a dollar so......why four stars and not five. The bartender (PM B) just didn't seem happy to be there. When we asked questions about the drinks or food, she either ignored us or spat out an answer that was indiscernible. OK, everyone has bad days and it wasn't just to us, but to all the customers at the bar...oh well. Next time we sit in the lovely restaurant and will most likely update it to 5 stars.

Melissa L.

Yelp
This place is a treat! If you're lucky enough to get seating here, you'll have a great time. Menu selection rotates and is always fun and new. Staff are welcoming and dedicated. I haven't been here in over 2 years (through no fault of the restaurant; just have a lot of other dining options to explore!), but I still vividly remember the last meal I had here. Noodle night is the best!

Kay G.

Yelp
They implemented an additional 3% Kitchen appreciation fee because they don't pay their kitchen staff fair wages. Build the increase in the prices of the food, the customer is going to pay anyway! This is clearly virtue signaling and further reduces price transparency in restaurants. I barely even remember the food at this point, it's turned into the Wild West afte covid with these restaurants putting all of the responsibility of owning a business on the customer.

Elle N.

Yelp
The old world meets the new world at The Tasty! One general guideline that usually remains with my husband and I is that I pick the place and he pays...it's not always the case but in the majority of situations this is true. I wanted to visit "the rock"...Plymouth Rock that is...so we stopped for a glimpse, snapped a couple pics, and picked up a piece of the rock at the gift shop. All of this made us hungry. A park representative asked if we had any questions and I asked about my Yelp bookmarked places. His comment about "The Tasty"..."They have a good sign". This was the theme of the week from Brooklyn to Boston! "The Tasty" won on a good sign. And any sign with the word tequila in it is my kind of place. The Tasty did not disappoint! I ordered the Malibu Barbie cocktail and must say it's the best I've had besides the Apparition Room in Temecula, CA. Then came the food. Homemade chips and jalapeño dip. We shared the blackberry glazed wings and the buffalo chicken ramen. Both unique and delicious. This was my favorite dining since traveling for the last several weeks. We may not return to the Tasty on this trip but plan to return when visiting our family in South Boston again. The music, the service and the food were all first class. The history brought us, but the food kept us! #Plymouth #TheTasty #JustRock #AGoodSign

Brianna A.

Yelp
This place is absolutely mind-blowing. The food and drinks are spectacular and so unique. The cocktails come in this interesting flask which pretty much equivalates two drinks. In regards to the food, it is by far some of the best in the Plymouth area with a Fusion flair. We had the dumplings and noodles where each bite was AA burst of flavor. The Tasty will definitely be our new go-to spot.

Dave D.

Yelp
Great local spot in the heart of downtown Plymouth. Food was delicious and the service was the best. Probably the best meal we have ever had in Plymouth. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!

Marion M.

Yelp
We dined at The Tasty last night - first time. Place was hip. We had a reservation and we're seated straight away inside. BF and I split the Italian Toast Salad which was very good. The toast was delicious - like a chewy cheesy crouton. BF also had the cod - which was a 'good size piece of cod' and very tasty. I tried the noodles thinking it was their specialty. Not so good. Missed some broth... not what I expected. But overall service was efficient and the wine and Old Fashioned were interesting.

Chrisopher M.

Yelp
Appetizer was delicious pizza was AMAZING!!!! Sat outside was great Weather server was good

Nooshin W.

Yelp
The ambience was great, a cute electric fire place inside and nice sofa and chairs. The WiFi was also great! The food was very good. I had their wings and lunch ramen and liked it a lot. The waitress was so so cool and kind. I was altering with my mom there and she even came and said hi to her Will go back definitely

Zoe H.

Yelp
The atmosphere was cozy and electric. Perfect for a dinner with a few friends. I had the pork schnitzel and my sister had the salmon. Both were very yummy. We didn't have a reservation but went early enough in the night where we could be seated right away. Afterwards the small restaurant and bar filled up by 6:30. Would recommend!

Mary H.

Yelp
The Tasty has it ALL: great cocktails, food, and vibe. Can't stop thinking about the nori fries. People are kind, attentive. Will be back soon and telling everyone I know!!

Harriette S.

Yelp
Excellent food, cool restaurant, and lovely cocktails. The service was excellent too.

Suzy H.

Yelp
SO HAPPY we made it to lovely little place! Small, but welcoming & modern/hip decor with awesome playlist! Service & staff were lovely & incredibly kind! Beers... tried local brews! Both draft & refreshing! They promptly brought to our table! The menu is not extensive but very good variety! We have the tuna tarte, noodles with chicken, & burger with fries that had a spicy kick! Our plates were left clean b/c all so delicious! Good portions, very tasty, & I will return next time I'm in town!

Brian B.

Yelp
Our first and last time at The Tasty, We arrived around 5:15 we were the first ones at the bar. We ordered drinks by then a couple of other couples had sat at the bar. The bartender came by and asked if we were ready to order. I said sure we are going to order some apps then decide on meals we have a show at 8 so we are not in a rush. She came back with the kitchen will be very busy we said thats ok we are not in a rush and she became such a jerk yelling over me as I was trying to explain we were not planning on staying till 8 but only we were not in a rush.... Her comments to us were they can sit 3 seating between now and 8 and we cant not stay that long.... (Karen to the Max) One couple got up and left after witnessing this and the other couple got apps and left as they were shocked as we were, We left as well..... Not nice people.... Stay away.....

Nikos L.

Yelp
Great food, great drinks, fantastic team at TheTasty. Highly recommend for small and lively gatherings...

Lauren G.

Yelp
Such a cute bar! Amazing cocktails that a lot of heart and soul go into. Our bartender was so sweet and cheerful. The bar is super cozy with a lot of character. I got the best whiskey sour ever here. I also tried a really pretty hibiscus cocktail.

Rick G.

Yelp
Grabbed The Spicy Dan Dan dish on Tuesday "noddle" night and was most disappointed. I was expecting Chinese or Asian noodles and got your basic Barilla linguine. The sauce was so light it didn't come close to coating the pasta and somehow the ground pork was chewy and tough. The base sauce tasted salty and probably had too much fish sauce but hard to say. Just a poorly done dish and for $18 way overpriced.

John C.

Yelp
In response to Nina, I'm happy you had a busy day. Good on you. Don't let the guests suffer or show how deep in the weeds you are. Some Suggestions: 1. If you're playing front end host/manager you keep the book and stick to it, not the servers, they want to sit anything they can in any order. 2. Try not to seat all tables at once and slam your bar/kitchen 3. If your kitchen/bar gets so deep in they are back 1/2 hour, send out lagniappes from the kitchen and have a go-to drink that can be quickly produced in a pitcher and comp everyone a glass. Pretty simple really. But then again I started at a small husband/wife owned restaurant and went on to a BA in hospitality management so I've been there and done that. And I 'trashed you' on multiple platforms because of my experience at your establishment. The business you are in is hospitality, be hospitable! Imagine if I was greeted by the host, got my name in, went to the bar got a quick glass of Tasty Juice on the house and told to hang tight because it was super busy. Then when the rush passed the bartender asked for our regular drink order, maybe a basket of Tasty Chips is passed over and now I'd wait with my group for an hour easy. Maybe next summer we'll try again.

Carly S.

Yelp
Couldn't love this place more! The ambiance, staff, food, and drinks are completely out of this world. Every time we are absolutely blown away. When we finish dessert, we are sad it's over and are already planning the next time to return. Keep up the good work! Favorite: tuna tartare app, it's amazing.
