I had a great experience with our server Ilir. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive and professional without being overbearing. He knew the menu well and gave a couple of helpful recommendations that ended up being really good choices. What I appreciated most was how smooth everything felt during the meal. Drinks were always refilled, plates were cleared at the right time, and we never had to look around to find him if we needed something. He checked in just enough to make sure everything was good without interrupting the conversation at the table. Overall, the service felt polished and genuine. If you get the chance, I’d definitely recommend asking for Ilir.

After flying in, we checked into our hotel around 9:00 PM and headed out shortly after to grab some food. Walking down Collins Ave, most restaurants were either closed or about to close, so we were really glad to come across The Tavern. The welcoming staff greeted us right away and seated us quickly. Our server was attentive, professional, and efficient, which made a great first impression -- especially after a long travel day. The dishes we ordered looked clickable and inviting. We tried the Island Mahi Sandwich, Caesar Supreme Wrap, and Chicken Tacos. The Caesar Supreme Wrap was flavorful and overwhelming (in the best way -- we loved it), while the chicken tacos were slightly underwhelming for us. Everything arrived promptly and was nicely presented. We also appreciated that the menu listed a good number of vegetarian options, which is rare in many places. While we didn’t order any vegetarian dishes ourselves, it’s nice to know that vegetarian diners can try this place without hesitation. A highlight of the night was the complimentary lemon drop shots offered to the adults in our group -- a generous and much-appreciated gesture. Overall, it was a good experience and a solid option if you’re looking for a late-night meal in the area. We’d recommend it to others, especially for the friendly service, inclusive menu, and convenient location.

We had such a wonderful time at The Tavern! From the moment we arrived, everything was great — the restaurant feels warm and inviting, and the food was seriously excellent. Every dish we tried was flavorful and beautifully served. What really made this visit special was our waiter Danilo. He was outstanding — very polite, positive, attentive, and extremely professional. He took great care of us, checked on everything at the right time, and made sure we enjoyed our meal. You can tell he truly cares about customers and knows how to provide top-level service. Thank you, Danilo, for such an amazing experience! We’ll definitely be back.

Had lunch here today. Such a great experience. Hassan was our server and he was a delight. We had a great chat at the end of our meal. The Tavern plays an impressive and eclectic array of music and I was singing and dancing in my seat the entire meal as was a lady across from us which then led to a great conversation with her and her two kids. The restaurant is accessible however the restrooms seemed to only be reached by stairs. They have in and out seating. We would definitely go again if in the area.

Came back for breakfast. Claire was amazing. The food is very refreshing and tasty. The staff was polite and attentive to our needs. The drinks aren't watered down like a lot of spots in Miami. Food is also reasonably priced for the portions and quality.

We had a wonderful experience at Tavern in Miami Beach. The atmosphere was cozy and stylish, the food was delicious, and everything was beautifully presented. A special thank you to our server Tespi — he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. He gave great recommendations and took perfect care of us throughout the evening. First night in Miami was great, it’s going to be hard to top this salmon. Claire our server was absolutely amazing, very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The salmon was cooked well and very tasteful. The Ultimate Burger was very yummy and cooked to perfection. I will definitely be returning before the end of my trip.

I have been to this restaurant multiple times over the years I've been coming to Miami Beach. Each time, the food, service and welcoming atmosphere just solidifies what a good idea it is to stop by when I'm in town. The ribeye is a great choice, but really, I've never had a bad meal here. The breakfast is great as well. Great place to bring kids, when many of the other choices directly around here are not necessarily the best for that. Claire has been my server a few times when I've been by and has always been helpful and welcoming, I'm always glad to see she's here when I come in.

Excellent food and outstanding service. The cooks delivered on every single meal we tried. The caramel latte was one of the best I've ever had rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. The quality of both the coffee and the food really stood out. We tried the Hangover Burger, Chicken Alfredo, Benedict's empanadas, and the scramble, and every dish was flavorful and well prepared. Definitely a place that delivers consistency and quality across the board. **** Second visit and just as impressed as the first. After how great breakfast was on our first visit, we decided to come back for dinner -- and it absolutely lived up to expectations. The portions are HUGE, easily enough to share between two or even three people (think Cheesecake Factory-sized). We tried the chicken piccata, steak entrée, mussels with pasta, short rib burger, calamari, and a chopped salad. Everything was delicious and well prepared. We also had the Key lime pie for dessert, which is made in-house and was the perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area. Great food, generous portions, and consistent quality.

My partner and I stumbled into The Tavern on a random Friday night, and we're so glad we did. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and told there was no wait for indoor seating, so we headed inside without delay. To start, my partner ordered a virgin piña colada, and I kept it simple with water. She immediately declared it the best piña colada she's ever had--creamy, perfectly blended, and not overly sweet. I'm not usually a fan of coconut, but after one sip, I had to take another. I'd give it a solid 9/10, and she insisted it deserved a 10/10. For our entrees, I went with the steak tacos on the recommendation of our waitress (who said they were better than the chicken), and I'm so glad I took her advice. The steak was juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection--every bite was seasoned just right. I honestly couldn't eat them fast enough. 9.6/10 from me! My partner stole a bite and loved them too. She ordered the shrimp scampi, and let's just say it barely lasted five minutes on her plate. She gave it a full 10/10, raving about the flavor and freshness. The only downside was the long wait time for the food, but with how delicious, hot, and fresh everything was, it felt worth it. If that's the price for quality, we'll wait again. We'll definitely be returning!

The location and atmosphere is nice. But, not sure if they are short staffed. The service was extremely slow. The hostess was rude and disengaging. Our server Tony was super nice and hard working but there's only this much he could do. The food was cold, and wasn't good for the price. Don't think my family will return here again.

Lovely breakfast on the way back from Basel. Excellent food. Eggs Benedict were so delicate but also substantial. Portions are very generous. We had the Tavern breakfast also good. Eggs are so yummy and fluffy. Pancakes are so good with a nice light vanilla flavor. Service is very good. Ambiance is laid back, chill Sunday morning vibes. Prices are very reasonable.

Large menu with a ton of options. Claire behind the bar was extremely helpful and friendly. The ambiance is confused. They play a retro rock selection and sports on big screens. The space has a lot of odd decor, that some (I) would deem unnecessary including lampshade lamps and bottles of wine with glasses on the bar. And the vignettes on the far left wall have an English manor vibe but there are chalkboard pinups on the back wall.

Stopped in here for happy hour and I really don't think this deserves the three stars it has on yelp. Solid fries, good customer service, especially from Claire at the bar, and a fun atmosphere. I will be back!

We went for dinner. Nice place next to the busy street. People standing in line to get a table. The service is ok. We ordered truffle fries, American burger and empanadas. The truffle fries were delicious. The burger was on the dry side. I couldn't eat the empanadas because they were too sour for me. We had to ask the server twice for our coffee and when she finally brought it we still had to ask for sugar and milk.

The Tavern Restaurant and Bar is located in Miami Beach's Mid Beach area close to hotels and the walking distance from the beach. Its airy and cozy casual outdoor dining area gives this restaurant a relaxing atmosphere. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner and have a full bar for those who likes to drink. Food and service is always good. Check it out!

We stopped by The Tavern since it was busy but conveniently just a short walk from our room. The atmosphere felt lively, though it did get pretty crowded. I ordered the avocado burger. The bun-to-patty ratio was great and the avocado was fresh, but the patty itself could have used more seasoning, and it was a bit wetter than I'd like with the salad mix. The chicken wings were solid,nothing spectacular but cooked through and with a nice crisp on the skin. The fries, however, came out on the dry side and really needed a side of ranch or ketchup to help swallow. Our waiter Hassan was friendly and tried to connect, but at times it felt a little awkward. Never came to refill our drinks or anything ,but did peak in on us to see if we were done. Overall it's a decent spot if you need something close by and don't mind a casual, somewhat noisy vibe. Wouldn't go back for the convenience and friendly service, if you do go ask for extra seasoning on that burger and maybe an extra side of sauce for the fries.

Forgettable. If I had not checked in on Yelp I would have forgotten I had been there. Went for brunch but was too late and ended up getting lunch. I ordered a Cuban sandwich. It was dry and lacked seasoning. I ordered an espresso martini, it was mid.My sisters burger was juicy and my brother liked his wings. The host was nice and bubbly. The decor was funky and vintage. It was nice to see fans outside. Our server was not that great and actually was short and forgetful. It was so hot inside that I could not enjoy my food or drink. My seat was leather took. I was ready to leave before our food arrived. The Taverns menu was extensive but the overall establishment is not for me.

The ambience Is very chick and cozy, and they also have a nice selection of foods including breakfast. I've tried the pollo a la plancha and the shrimp wrap and they both didn't disappoint. The servers a very kind too!

We ate outside and it was cute. The service was good. for breakfast the food was quite delicious. The waffles were moist and tasty and the breakfast tacos are actually really really good. If you're in the Miami Beach area you should totally come here for breakfast.

Excellent food! Located at the Hotel Croydon in Miami Beach! Got some carry-out to go! I highly recommend the Cobb Salad! It was fantastic and you will not be disappointed! I definitely will come back! I also stopped in for breakfast and ate outside! It was fantastic! Service was a little slow but it turned out well! I recommend the Tavern breakfast as it comes with coffee and OJ!

Truly such a great experience. We keep coming back for the great food and atmosphere; but tonight our server, Jelena, made our evening such a pleasure. Warm and vibrant energy, great recommendations, nice conversation, and overall great service. This restaurant is a gem in mid-beach. The Hotel Croydon has set the bar high for cleanliness, quality, and comfort. Their restaurant does not fall short. I'm actually constantly shocked at the quality of the food and price point - especially in Miami Beach! Another reason to keep coming back for more.

Good food, and atmosphere, right on the main road of Miami Beach. We stayed at the hotel attached to the restaurant and it was convenient, it always looked busy too so the food had to have been good. Our waiter was attentive and helpful, only issue is that it took a really long time for the food to come out, but they were pretty busy. Other than that I thought it was a great little spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

Open 24/7. Delicious Benedict and espresso martini. Only reason so knocking a star is outside the restaurant while you wait they have a large menu posted. I had decided on some items but when I went to order was told those are no longer available. Really need to update that promptly so you are advertising correctly. But once I decided what I wanted I was not disappointed. My Benedict was 3 muffins and usually you get 2 so the portions are great. The potatoes are delicious as well. Lots of items to choose from and nice staff. I'd recommend

Lovely ambiance to sit outside among the lighted palms in the evening enjoying the balmy Miami breeze. A cute little family sat near me, and I overheard the youngest say, "Dad, I love the time when it's time to eat!" I chuckled thinking, "Me too!" The Pina colada was the best I had on my trip and was a generous serving. I ended up wishing I'd ordered that drink & some lighter fare because that would have been enough. I picked The Tavern for my first night in Miami because I was looking for some Cuban inspired food and wanted something in walking distance of my hotel. I was able to get there by walking a few blocks down the ocean-side walkway, which added to the charm of the experience. The service was initially prompt although lagged at times. And the kitchen mixed up the order of someone near me. I noticed my waiter touched the rim of glasses with the pitcher when he was pouring water, and that is a no-no in my book. I don't like it when hands or serving items touch the rim of glasses. My arroz con pollo was a generous portion, had flavor, and was filling. However, it felt closer to cafeteria fare than abuelita's cocina. The chicken was a little dry and the rice seemed to lack a pop of freshness. The plantains needed a pinch of salt or maybe a squeeze of citrus to bring out the flavor more. The table next to me said they had been there for lunch and had amazing hamburgers, so they came back for dinner too. Maybe I would have been happier with a hamburger, but when I eat out, tend to look for menu items that I can't easily get or make at home. They also automatically include a 14% gratuity and a separate service fee. I'm not sure if that is for using a credit card or if it's added to all bills, but the bill looked higher than I was expecting. The entire experience was fine, but I found my meal a little disappointing.

Excellent location on Collins with a large selection of food and drinks. Great service and excellent atmosphere. I'm not sure why the score is average. It's excellent.

Check hours on Google and said it was open. Walked through rain, arrived at 8:30am only to be told there is no room at the Inn we are closed! What? They close in the middle of breakfast and reopen at 10am? This place is poorly ran and not worth your time. Will never go back.

Stopped in for a bite with my husband. Cute outdoor cafe vibe. Food was good and our server Ronnie was so helpful and attentive. The menu had a HUGE variety of food so there is something for everyone. If you're in the areas def stop it.

The food is great with big portions. You can sit outside or inside. Loud bar environment with live music on the weekends. Good prices for the quality but do keep in mind that gratuity is already included and I was not informed while paying (our first time here). Overall a great experience for our vacation. We have been back 3x now in a week.

Everything was great! This place was open late and across from my hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the food, service, and ambiance. A nice breezy outdoor space, delicious mojito, and the food was super good--fresh and healthy. I ordered the tomatoes and avocado salad with mahi mahi and a side of fries. Key lime pie for dessert. The server, Guliette, was attentive and friendly as was the bartender and other staff. The table next to me had a pizza that also looked good. I'd definitely recommend this one.

Vee and her trainee were great. Food was pretty good as well and the ambiance is very casual. Great experience!

We are staying at the hotel and The Tavern is here so we tried it out. This is a cool place. I would come back to Miami just to hang out here. I got the Mahi Mahi. It was a little dry but good. My wife got the Cuban sandwich. It was pretty good. It was busy Friday night so service was slow. BTW they add 20% gratuity and service charge The mojito was really good. I'll come back.

Had a very nice brunch experience today while in Miami Beach for a wedding. Two Tavern Specials with bacon, one granola/yogurt bowl and a hangover burger. All were timely and efficiently by our server, Geo, who was certainly a pro (and a good guy). Reasonable pricing for Miami Beach, good food, and a comfortable patio setting, (the prices were more than fair, too!). No pics, sorry. We'd definitely consider a return if we were back in the neighborhood.

Service is nice, great seating and ambiance Lychee martini is excellent Quinoa salad is very mid, came with ranch when said it was lemon vinaigrette and with the price it's so basic, there's like 4 sliced tomatoes and artichoke hearts topped with sprouts

This excellent little bar/restaurant in the kitschy boutique Hotel Croydon in Miami Beach was perfect for our 2 day elective layover. Timely service for breakfast, lunch & Dinner with great menu options. My faves were the Southern scramble for breakfast, Mahi-Mahi sandwich for lunch - fries can be iffy, and these were great. Top choice was an ample portion of flavorful garlic hummus with pita, carrots & celery. Very nice full bar with beers on tap manned by efficient bartenders.

Probably the best veggie burger I ever had! The food is great, name your pick, everything is great! Service is spot on! The staff was hustling, kudos to everyone, especially Diana, Jose, and Carlos! Ambiance is nice either inside or outside! Definitely recommended and looking forward to coming back!

Food and service was great. What wasn't great was one of bussers, who had 'Zoran' on his name tag, who was verbally abusing one of the female servers right in front of customers. I could see that the female server was uncomfortable and all guests could see this happening. This restaurant may want to think about the actions of the individual. I hate to call this out publicly but I don't tolerate abuse ever. When it happens in front of me, a customer, I feel the need to call it to my attention. This may have been a one off experience but I doubt it

The food was not good, it was served cold. My fries were dense and stale, my sandwich had no flavor.

Delicious, love the atmosphere and live music was beautiful. Birds and lizards enjoyed the shade!

First off Rolando's service was 10/10, he's an excellent server and well versed with the menu. I removed a star due to the French fries, they unfortunately tasted as though they were still frozen and undercooked. The ambiance is great and it's a convenient location to the beach.

This is our third visit during our 2 night stay in Miami, FL before our cruise. They have a large menu and the pricing is very reasonable. They are very friendly and helpful. Liz was our first waitress and she was very nice and helpful with the menu. I had the chicken empanadas and my husband had two shrimp tacos. On our second trip I had the Curry Chicken and Rice bowl and my husband had Chicken Parmesan. All of the dishes were warm comfort food! We returned for breakfast and it was really good as well. It was within walking distance of our South Beach hotel.

Great place on Collins Ave, Miami Beach. Ordered shrimp scampi and the flavors linger on the tongue for a bit ....... A glass of Chardonnay goes very well. The only thing it was missing was a piece of bread to soak up the flavors at the bottom of the dish. Followed it up with the NY style cheesecake and let's just say it didn't disappoint....... Give it a try!. Bartender Carlos was excellent!

The background music was so loud it was hard to hear others at our table and the server. I feel the server had a hard time hearing us. I had the juicy lucy and the menu states the burger was stuffed with cheese. It was two smashed burgers with cheese in between that is not what the menu stated. My side salad had no Italian dressing but everyone at the table had dressing on their salad. The decoration inside was good. The server was slow.

Went on a cruise and visited Miami Beach after until we left on our flight later that day. Stopped for a quick bite to eat and it did not disappoint! Everything was fantastic! Service was nice and quick, food was hot and delicious, and the place was just a great vibe. Will be back when back in town

Had breakfast on 9/24/25. I'm on vacation, visiting from California. I paid my bill via Apple-pay. I told the male waiter I'd tip him cash. He left, I finished my coffee, went inside the restaurant (I dined outside) and I didn't see my male waiter. I asked a female waitress for change--I had a twenty dollar bill in my hand. She put her hands up, would not accept my cash, and said, "No, sorry, we don't have change." Wtf?? What if I paid cash for my meal? I'd have to pay exactly the amount of my bill, or have them keep the change? There is a bar inside the restaurant. There's no cash/change inside the register? Awkward and odd and it made me suspicious. Food was ok, coffee as good. Not going back. And a bit pricey for pancakes and eggs.

As far as your basic overpriced Miami restaurant. This pretty much sums it up! I'm a visitor to Miami so the prices were outstanding to me. The outside of the venue is incredibly pretty with the nice lights and tables and chairs on the patio. But then upon entering you get like the cheesy decor on the wall of random pictures and quotes. I understand this place is open 24/7 so I guess they have to keep it weird for those 3am visitors lol. The service was okay. It took a while for someone to come to our table and greet us. We asked for the tv behind us to be changed which took a while which is okay, I'm sure on a Friday night they were kinda busy. The food was just okay as well. Nothing that knocked our socks off. It was about a 200 dollar bill for the 4 of us with drinks and food. That's more than I wanted to pay, but if you're looking for somewhere late to go on Collins, this would be it!

The service was not good. We waited at least 10-15 minutes for her to bring us water. After we ordered our wings came out cold after 20-30 minutes of waiting for them the server didn't even bother to come ask anything . We asked for the check waited another 15-20 minutes while she cleaned a table next to us then she continued to walk around while the whole time she had the machine for us to pay. It's as if because the tip is included the service isn't a priority.

Great service from Carlos! Made a reservation but was seated in the bar area, which was fun but it's low tables and bench seating. Had the angel hair pasta with shrimp which was good!

My husband and I sat in the outdoor seating on a nice sunny day and it was perfect! We got drinks and the calamari to share which was good. We got pina coladas, mules, and one of their specialty cocktails. All tasted great. Service was quick and our waiter was nice!

Really enjoyed the burgers here. Nice spot not too far down from the hotels. Bartenders make great drinks that are strong.... Which is a great thing. Live music was a great touch and it feels like they always have it there.

What a great start to our vacation. Drinks are delicious! Calamari appetizer was excellent, and shrimp scampi was 10/10. Our server Geo was friendly and very attentive, he made our night! We will be coming back again for sure! Thank you Geo for the amazing service!

All good here. Food, cocktails, apps, entrees and desserts. The servers were great and very friendly. Had no issues except when it got busy then the service slowed down quite a bit which is understandable.
