"Tea and Time on Canyon Road How can you *not* love a place with more than 150 kinds of tea? Tucked away on arty Canyon Road, this little tea (and coffee) house is a treasure for weary walkers - the perfect spot to sit down with a book and a pot of Assam and step out of regular life for a bit."

After the obligatory (and touristy) Canyon Road, the Tea House is the perfect spot for a cup of tea on their outdoor patio. They have a selection of pastries, as well as teas from China, India, Japan, Sri Lanka, and Santa Fe.

We’ve been coming here for years and honestly we think the new ownership has just made the experience better. At the time they were short staffed but seeing the owners get in the fray and work hard speaks testaments to their passion to keep the place alive. The breakfast burritos before were good, but now they’re just fantastic. The addition of the greenhouses was a great touch on cooler days and the lavender mimosa and Santa Fe mocha were top notch! Go to relax and enjoy. Try not to be in a hurry because it’s worth it.

Will return. This review is only for the look of the bistro, and the outdoor section. We didn't check their operating hour (my fault), went by on a Tuesday, which is closed - a little disappointing. It's pretty much at the end of Canyon Road for galleries, with Sangre de Cristo Mountains (?) as its background, beautiful and tranquil. Oh well, next time!

Google
Extensive tea menu and a great start to a canyon road walk. We got the pistacho affogatos and they were a little small but delicious. Love the fruit trees in the outside dining area

Came here a few days ago and had a decent experience. Service needs a bit of work though. Hostess ignored us for like 10 min while we waited at the host stand. We could’ve at least gotten our name taken down. It was busy, but it did seem like it took longer than usual to get sat and receive service. Food is pretty expensive for the portions you receive but it was still very good. I understand they switched to new ownership recently, so I get the tweaks that need to be made. Overall good experience.

I've been coming to the Santa Fe Tea House for years, and it's always been one of my go-to spots on Canyon Road. The atmosphere used to feel cozy and welcoming, and the food portions were generous, paired with large, satisfying cups of tea. It was one of those places you could count on for a relaxing meal with a good cup of tea. However, since the new owners have taken over, I've noticed some changes that are hard to overlook. While the new owners are friendly and nice, the overall experience just isn’t the same. The food portions have shrunk considerably, and the big, hearty dishes I once loved have been replaced with much smaller servings. The tea cups, which used to be large and comforting, are now tiny and feel a bit underwhelming. Service has been inconsistent too. Some visits are great, but other times, it's slower than expected. It's frustrating because this place used to be so dependable. I really hope they can bring back the charm and the generous servings that made this spot special in the first place. Hoping for a return to the old vibes, where you’d leave feeling satisfied both in your stomach and in your tea cup. Until then, it’s just not quite the same.

Our party of 6 was hot, tired, thirsty & hungry after exploring the art on Canyon Road. The Teahouse was everything we had heard about & more. The place was very busy, but they were still able to seat us after a very short wait. Their menu is very accommodating and every beverage and dish served was delicious. Though we were warned there might be a wait for our food, our beverages came quickly and our food shortly after. Our appetizers were imaginative, and individual dishes were as well. Everything was fresh & delicious. Every long, hot walk should be rewarded this way. We love the Teahouse, and appreciate the staff that hustles to make sure everyone has great service, and extraordinary food.

Arrived at 8am and was quickly seated. Had to ask hostess for coffee as our waiter never acknowleged our presense. After she prompted him, he took our order at 9:06am. The food arrived about 15 minutes later. The hostess brought our plates out. She also refilled our coffee. The food was excellent with very large portions and reasonably priced. The waiter did not check on us at all but brought us the bill. We left a minimal tip for him but gave the hostess a large cash tip. She asked if it should be given to waiter and we told her NO, it's for you. Doubt we will give it a second try.

Google
This place is in such a cute area and has a great aesthetic and atmosphere but the service and food are horrendous. The service is incredibly slow, they forgot to put my sisters drink order in and we had to go up to the barista after 15 mins, and the latte turned out terrible. The chicken green chile soup tasted like nothing, it was some of the worst food I've ever had. However the tea was fantastic. I'd go here for just the tea but skip the food. Looking at other reviews, it seems a lot of people haven't had the best experience lately as well.

Yelp
I came here with friends while we were visiting Santa Fe and I had the most delicious lunch! My friend enjoys trying Eggs Benedict everywhere she goes and liked hers well enough, though said it wasn't outstanding. I had the Vegetarian sandwich and a bowl of avocado asparagus "gazpacho" that was on special that day. Both were delicious! The prices were definitely Santa Fe prices, though, and I didn't think the Iced Tea was really worth over $5. I recommend this place, though!

Yelp
So sad to say my last visit to The Teahouse was my last ever. And appears I'm not alone. Menu has changed and the scones with lemon curd (say it isn't so!) are off the menu among other favorites. The service was indifferent and scarcely perceptible-perhaps offer self order if you can't find people who want to wait tables. People seated 10 min after us received their entire order before we received our drinks. Which arrived 15 minutes after our food. Which took 35 minutes and the place was 1/3 full. Had to seek out our waiter twice to see what was taking so long. It was January (quiet season - but I've been here in the winter before) and something has happened to my beloved place not attributable to the season-it is sad and forlorn. I hope they find a way to make things right, as based on my experience and other reviews, something needs to change here. Very sad.

Yelp
When in town, I enjoy coming here. They have a great dog friendly patio. Service is quick. For this last visit, I had the lavender latte. It had a smooth taste but not much lavender. The vegetable omelette with the side salad was the best. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. The breakfast burrito was good but not the stand out like the omelette.

Yelp
Great location among a mile of galleries and high end stores. Beautiful patio w umbrellas and breeze while you eat breakfast. Chilaquiles and silog beef dish. Great spicy chocolate latte and a spicy ginger chai latte. Great way to fuel up for a day of walking in Santa Fe sun.

Kate R.

Yelp
Stopped by to grab a sandwich and salad to go. Was told it would be ready in 10 mins. After 25 mins, we inquired about our order, and they hadn't even started making it. After 30 mins, food came out. We were late to an appointment as a result and didn't even get to enjoy our lunch fresh. For a $50 to-go lunch, I would expect better. This was a weekday in February.

Yelp
OMG - another TDF local spot in Santa Fe! Excellent, efficient service and very helpful. A tea menu that reminds me of a Cheesecake Factory menu (a place I throughly LOATHE!). My friend had the scone of the day that came with coddled cream and some lemon curd, along with a fancy hot tea. She loved it! I had the mushroom Benedict - holy cow, delish! Probably the MOST PERFECT BENEDICT I HAVE EVER EATEN. Comes with a lovely house salad as the side. I recommend the spicy hollandaise sauce - don't worry...it isn't super spicy. Also had one of the fruity iced teas...refreshing! HUGE OUTDOOR seating area. Support this local gem and be sure to generously TIP YOUR SERVER! Oh, and, hit the last art gallery across the street and check out the ENORMOUS HORSE HEAD "statue".

Yelp
Don't go to the teahouse often because of the trek. Finally checked it out and the new menu and it was totally worth it. The Chicken kaarage with gravy was sooo good. So well seasoned and the best thing we had for lunch. The croissant was so soft and filled with thick ube cream. The banh mi and salad was also very good. We all got iced teas and an apricot fog. All very very good. The only negative - 1 bathroom for the whole restaurant left us standing in line for awhile.

Yelp
The Teahouse converted a coffee lover. Yep, that's right. I said it. If this cute lil' tea haven was near me, I'd go weekly. The staff were experts on the leaves. I told them I was a first timer in all regards to ordering tea out. They asked me what flavors I enjoyed and if I liked sweet or creaminess. Next thing you know, I was given a delicious and refreshing drink! I wish I could tell you what one they gave me, but I have no idea. The only thing I do know is that it was a whimsical moment & everything my soul needed to get the day in Sante Fe going :D Big thank you to The Teahouse team.

Yelp
Never got to order, the service was so bad. Arrived with no one at the reception which was fine but then stood in line for what looked like a counter to order. After waiting for a while being told just a sec, then finally getting eye contact to ask, do you order here at the counter or take a seat. She said take a seat and I will follow with a menu. Ten minutes later I got the menu. Fifteen minutes later after waving and saying excuse me from passing waiters, I left without any acknowledgment I was there. No water, no I'll be right back. Zero contact and VERY unwelcoming. Btw Joe's Tequila Bar down the hill was excellent!

Yelp
New owner brought in their own incompetent chef and completely destroyed the food. The new menu is fussy and chaotic. The food is at best tasteless, but borders on disgusting. I almost cried. The Tea House has always been one of Santa Fe's best restaurants, and I go frequently. But I just had the most horrific meal ever. The worst eggs Benedict of my life --Hollandaise sauce had the taste and texture of lard, actually stuck to the roof of my mouth. The eggs were tasteless and the bread soggy. Not sure how you could make such a horrible mess without actively trying. (The previous chef made an amazing eggs Benedict.) Ube waffles sound exciting and fun, but are heavy and tasteless as well. The staff used to be happy and upbeat. Now they're dejected and unpleasant. Yet another sign of bad management. Sadly, the new ownership has destroyed a beautiful and iconic culinary retreat. I can't go back.

Yelp
This place may have scored high with a lot of people, but I see it was just average. I've been to many tea houses where they at least serve the tea in a nice teapot with hot water. My tea came in a drinking glass. I had to request more hot water, they usually just bring it; For five dollars? And I had a breakfast bowl, which was very lackluster. It came with about 1/4 of a cup of Farro, one cup of arugula, a sprinkle of pinenuts, some warmed tofu, avocado and two poached eggs. My bill is $23. For what I don't know. My friend had a Panini with eggplant. She said it was rather bland. It was $19 plus $5 more for a small latte. It all seems overpriced for simple underwhelming basic food.

Tara D.

Yelp
Just had lunch today and ordered an Asian salad. Didn't see that it had bacon and the salad was filled with bacon and when I called the waitress over to say that I didn't eat bacon she took it back and said she would bring the salad with avocado. Then came back bringing me the same salad and saying sorry this is what you ordered. That salad was $20 and I couldn't eat it. I was super irritated, felt they either should have offered me something else or taken it off the bill . The waitress was all smiley but a bit passive aggressive. Bad management and that salad with or without the bacon is way overpriced.

Yelp
Like so many others that have been going to Teahouse for years, the new ownership has dragged everything down. This has traditionally been one of our destination spots when we go to Santa Fe twice a year, and we always look forward to it, but now we'll never return and instead visit the other charming restaurants near it in the art district. While the outside ambiance is still nice, that's the only part that is worth the visit. The food is just not that good at all and the service is terrible, rude and slow. Their entire menu has been changed for the worse. What started as a really cool New Mexico take on traditional dishes has become some kind of really bizarre and poorly executed New Mexico-Asian fusion. We got seated and waited nearly 30 minutes for service, while one of the cooks came out and chatted with his friend at a nearby table for about 15 of that and had her food on the table before we ever saw a waiter - even though we were there at least 5 minutes before her. Our server was snotty, dismissive and distracted. I had this bizarre burrito that had picked eggs in and, along with the same problem with my wife's dish, was totally unseasoned - not a lick of salt on anything. My burrito was bad enough that I could only eat half as I started to gag on the horrible combination of ingredients that were not thought out and have no business going together. This place is just cashing in on the massive popularity of the original Teahouse, but as more old customers realize the food and service are terrible, this will fade and you can all but guarantee that this place will close as a result. It's sad that a Santa Fe landmark has gone by the wayside, but times change and if you are smart you'll never come here, see the reviews reflect that, and find a new quaint arts district place to hang out.

Yelp
Cute spot located at the end of Canyon Road. 30 minutes for a spot so we just for our drinks to go. HUGE variety of drinks, and cafe style fare like sandwiches and salads. Mexican Hot Chocolate ($5) was pretty good! Staff was very nice and accommodating.

Chad T.

Yelp
Such a great atmosphere and service. The quality of the food and presentation is amazing. The maple chai latte was wonderful! Get there early as they fill up fast. The weather was rainy during our visit so we couldn't set outside this time but I hope that you get to enjoy their patio.
google avatar

Yelp
What a gem! Coffees were spot on (plus they have a vast assortment of teas) and the food options are fresh, beautiful, and delicious!! Our server was sweet and attentive. The inside is darling and the outside is huge and would be wonderful in the warmer months. If you're in Santa Fe, this place is a must.

Wesley T.

Yelp
Wow! What a disappointment. We've been coming here for years. It was a special place. Will not be coming back. The menu was missing a lot of my old favorites (the scones with lemon curd and clotted cream were special). I ordered the spinach mushroom quiche. It was served slightly below room temperature. The quality was abysmal. Immediately I wondered what had happened. Then I saw the recent reviews which explained the change of management and new chef (I knew the previous owner had passed away) So sad that the Teahouse old old is gone. I gave it a second star more for old times sake

Yelp
Love the new chef at the tea house! Delicious fusion food with some classic brunch staples. Got the Ube Waffles and the Bánh Mì. Both tasty and fresh. Teahouse has needed a menu update and they have delivered. Service was lovely as well. And can't beat sitting outside in their garden to eat!

Steven E.

Yelp
Great spot on Canyon Road! The server was super-knowledgeable. I ordered the oolong duck poop tea (not kidding) and it was light, earthy and satisfying. Also I had the Chicken Karaage (small plate) which was very flavorful and tender. I took the photo after eating just over half. I would do again. My gluten free wife found a lot in the menu. She had a BLT which she just loved.

Yelp
I will always remember what it was. A place where they might appear to be waiting for the next calendar month to bring the check, but you could linger over polenta and a pot of tea all through the twilight hours under the stars. The menu had some misses but many delectable items that aren't so common in Santa Fe, like cheesy sausage pesto lasagna and savory creamed soups that rotated on the daily and tart key lime pie (with whipped cream and a side of raspberry sauce!) And oh, that quiche when it arrived piping hot and bursting with feta and red pepper ... Increasingly over the years that patio seems to have become a dog park and service has become chilly and rushed with their shortened hours. I don't know if I will return after my meal this weekend, in the generically remodeled interior with some new sterile stainless steel teapots. There isn't much to choose from on the one-page menu that now brands itself as seasonal. The breakfast sandwich is aggressively bad, with a soggy "English muffin" whose halves (only one with aioli) cannot fit into any known human mouth simultaneously, an uncomfortably slippery egg, slab of chewy meat, and side of dry and unsalted potatoes. Did anyone eat this dish before putting it on the menu? It was not just embarrassingly executed but incomprehensible in terms of the desired effect of putting these pieces together on a plate. A plate that a server attempted to snatch away while I was still eating. And so we now have yet another establishment that closes at the ripe hour of 2 p.m. but this one can't even muster a fried egg? I don't know what it offers anymore beyond the patio, nor do I sense any heart behind that emaciated menu. Three stars in hopes The Teahouse one day comes back to life. No stars or forgiveness for that sandwich. And did I mention you are charged $16 to eat that thing? They should be paying customers for what is apparently disposal of some unwanted kitchen items.

Yelp
Lovely place to take a breather from gallery gazing. Wide variety of teas and coffee drinks as well as very tasty soups, salads and sandwiches. I had the buratta special with homemade pesto and my friend had the citrus salad. Both were excellent

Yelp
A cute stop for a casual lunch. After walking around all morning, the Teahouse was a great spot to rest and refresh. Parking: There were several free parking spots specifically designated for the Teahouse by the entrance. There also is a paid lot right next door. It's possible to also find street parking if you're willing to walk a bit to the restaurant. Pricing: The prices were on the higher end for what they offered in my opinion, but not way outside of budget. Food: The food was really tasty and fresh! They were definitely heavy handed with the greens and salads which was a pleasant surprise. Tea: I love tea and they had a whole separate tea menu! It was very extensive and included a wide variety. They are also able to make any tea into an iced option which is perfect for a hot day. Wait time: We arrived for lunch on a Monday right about noon/1pm and they seemed to be full! That being said, the tables turned over quickly and we waited less than 10 minutes for a 4 top. Service: Our server was very polite and able to give great recommendations from the menu. That being said, service was very slow... it took forever for some one to come take our orders, we never were able to get drink refills or order more drinks, and we gathered all our cash to pay so we didn't have to continue to wait for a card to be processed when the bill came. This is one of the main reasons i gave a lower rating. Worth noting: The patio is dog friendly ! They also include little fans on each table to fend off the flies which was great.

Yelp
I used to be a regular here, LOVED the pozole and paninis, and of course the huge tea menu. For dessert I always got the gf scone with clotted cream and lemon curd. We went a few months back when we were in town and the menu was totally changed and there were all new staff. It was painted in an unattractive manner inside. The menu was not exciting and the food was horrible. Even the brewed ice tea just tasted like water. I've been very upset at the huge decline in what was such an amazing place. I'm very sad to say I won't return.

Yelp
They got rid of the fly problem after my last review which is awesome because the food here is great and the atmosphere is beautiful. Highly recommend. Great tea and coffee menu too!

Yelp
Fresh and tasty food, very vegetarian and gluten-free friendly, incredible assortment of teas and lattes - we came back multiple times during our week in Santa Fe. The daily GF scone was such a treat, and the chai latte is BIG!
google avatar

William C.

Yelp
The menu is very slightly pricy for what you get, but it's all delicious nevertheless. Unsurprisingly, the highlight is the tea selection-- the array of "fog" varieties is wonderful (the bazaar fog is my favorite).
google avatar

Tae S.

Yelp
I ordered a rooibas (sp) latte with almond milk it had a pretty good taste. The restaurant was busy but it was Smokey and had a smell about it that was odd. It could be the ventilation as the structure was older. The service was okay.

Yelp
Staying in Santa Fe a few Days and this place came up on a travel site. We were looking for places that were dog friendly. Slight wait to get in since we arrived at noon. Everyone ordered a beverage and they were great! Lots of dogs in the patio area too. The specials were amazing. Slightly spicy Posole Roja and a Hungarian stew. Kids loved the stew! Came with giant pieces of delicious seasoned polenta in it too. Server was top notch. Strawberry shortcake scone for dessert was shockingly large. Fed all 4 of us. Highly recommended. Cool location with local art and a guy playing piano nearby.
google avatar

Kristen B.

Yelp
The tea was delicious and service was great! I had the hairy crab - which sounds weird but is a fruitier mild white tea name for what the leaves look like. I had the mushroom Benedict and loved it. I had my sauces on the side so I could try both and both were delicious just depends if you want spicy or traditional. My companion had the other Benedict with bacon and it was good thick cut bacon. I think the best was the sourdough English muffins - I'm not sure if they're made in house or they get them somewhere but they were delicious and different. I would definitely go back and eat anything on their menu or just to try a new tea.

Yelp
Under new ownership and the menu has changed a bit. But this is still good. My go-to place for breakfast/brunch when taking visitors to canyon road. At my last outing, I was adventuresome and tried the ube waffles. A little different, and very good. A friend had the gluten free waffles and they were also good. Another friend had the eggs Benedict. Though he liked them, he thought the hollandaise was a bit too lemony. Breakfast potatoes are very good -- light, not overly cooked. We each had a croissant -- regular, chocolate and ube. (Yes, I was adventuresome again.) The purple filling in the ube croissant was heavenly. I will definitely have this every time I go. Hot cocoa could have been hotter, but was tasty. So many tea selections -- I don't even remember what my friend got, but she said it was delicious. Prices are reasonable. Service is wonderful -- quick , friendly, efficient. We had a very personable waiter. Only drawback -- still only one bathroom! So, yeah, it's changed a bit, but it's still a good place to eat.

Yelp
We ordered the Silog Bowl, Ube waffles, Lumpia Lettuce Wrap, and Chicken Karaage. Everything was a delicious magical experience. The service was friendly and prompt. The ambiance was perfect with a delightful balance of peace and excitement. We can't wait to visit again.

Yelp
Santa Fe is on our short list of must-revisit cities. And in this city, the Teahouse is the top of my must-revisit places. When the weather is just right (which is often), sitting outside under the orange (burnt siena?) umbrellas munching on a delicious brunch, complemented with a perfectly brewed pot of tea, is the most civilized way to live. Doesn't matter what you order, it is served expeditiously and is always delicious. We have had the eggs, the sandwiches, the pot pie, the soups, and every tea has been a joy. The 3rd brewing of a Pu-Erh tea, for example, or the Frappuccino-like hit of honey and steamed milk topping a tall mug of Earl Grey: The London Fog. Sitting out and chatting or listening to nearby conversations, reading the paper, or just soaking in the direct and indirect sunlight: sublime. Hey, just don't take up all the (few) parking spots next time I want to come here.
google avatar

Ryan M.

Yelp
Really great food but the tea is not that great at all. all the lattes are either too sweet, too strong, or otherwise have a strangely artificial and unpleasant flavor. The waffles are really delicious with the ube sauce and the Banh Mi sandwich has great fresh ingredients and flavors.
google avatar

Emma E.

Yelp
Nestled in the heart of Canyon Road, the Teahouse is a lovely spot to stop for tea (duh) or a leisurely breakfast/brunch/lunch with friends. I always have a craving for the eggs benedict with the chile hollandaise sauce. I've nibbled on their pastries, alongside different lattes, and always want more. Their selection of teas is HUGE, along with the other caffeinated drink options. Enjoy your visit!

Yelp
We go here often on our stay-ca from ABQ. Food is excellent, and drinks are excellent. Will keep coming back. Love stopping here!

Chris S.

Yelp
Super chill place to have some food on Canyon Road. Wife loved the special iced tea with milk and vanilla, and the beef stir fry. I was equally happy with what I got sitting outside in the shade on a sunny summer afternoon.

K J.

Yelp
Visiting Santa Fe and drove 30 minutes here yesterday to get my husband tea only to find that they are unexpectedly closed. Drove back again today and they are also closed. Very unprofessional. We were planning to buy hundreds of dollars in tea, but will not come back ever again.

Dee B.

Yelp
Used to be a classic Santa Fe spot. Too much experimentation with the menu. Some classic lunch/brunch items are good and the teas are excellent.

Andrea ..

Yelp
I have been coming to the Teahouse for many years. It is now under new ownership and they have taken away popular items for some reason. I ordered eggs benedict. The eggs were on soggy bread with no ham and no side salad which used to accompany the dish. The hollandaise sauce was terrible and looked like yellow mayonnaise. My friend had the quiche which was flat and arrived with a pile of fried potatoes - again no salad. The photos on this site need to be udated because none of that food is available anymore. I don't like to write negative reviews but I hope this gets the new owners attentions and they put back the items that worked for years.

Rosalind G.

Yelp
The Teahouse has been my favorite place for brunch and tea for many years. I took my adult daughter there yesterday, 4/26/24 and had been raving about the many options of the Eggs Benedicts and the Strawberry Shortbread Scone with the whip cream. We were not greeted in a friendly manner and we were sat in the little side yard, I asked if we could be seated in the main courtyard( it only had 4 tables seated) and was told no because they were doing a rotation to be fair.Okay. when our waiter brought the menu there was only "1" option for Eggs Benedict and a very limited menu, I asked why there were no other options, he said" new owners, new chef and new menu" hmmmm.... We ordered the Eggs Benedict and 2 teas, it was the worst Eggs Benedict I have ever had, no Hollandaise sauce, just pure mayonnaise. The English muffins were flat and dense. Why would anyone change everything about an iconic restaurant in Santa Fe? So sad and disappointing, I will not return.:( The end of an era

Lisa M.

Yelp
Firstly, yes, I was a BIG fan of the original menu before the change in ownership. I will miss my favorites, but things change and so I visited this "new" Teahouse with an open mind. I decided to try a few different menu items since there aren't too many similarities between the new and older menu... with exception of the Tea or drink offerings. We had the Ube waffles, Eggs Benedict, quiche, and gluten free scone (that was all that was offered, baked-goods-wise), a London fog and lavender latte. The good; purple waffles!! Besides being pretty, they were soft and delicious (the mashed Ube "jam" wasn't that appetizing, but I get the concept); the drinks were perfect, frothy, and severed in those lovely big mugs I'm glad the owners decided to keep. The not so great; the quiche served with potatoes , while tasty for the first bites was overly salted and on the thin side, and the potatoes were average (salad would have been a better pairing), the eggs Benedict was the most surprising in quality... which was sadly bad in that the eggs were overcooked, the muffins were either stale or just burned, and the hollandaise sauce was more like paste that left a coating in the mouth; finally the scone - I don't recall the flavor but the sand-like texture made it unappetizing so it was left after the first bite. The new menu looks very inspired by California eateries (see avocado toast and tofu scramble), so I think a tourist clientele may be happier here than the locals.

Yelp
No more scones. Seriously. Literally live down the street and have been going to this place for years for the scones. Alas, no more. Locals be warned.

Yelp
The Teahouse is where I take visitors on their first visit to Santa Fe - introduce them to a London Fog - and take home a bag of exquisite Earl Grey tea.

Yelp
Great stop at the top of Canyon Road for brunch or lunch. This place has evolved from being an order-at-the-counter tea/coffee/pastry stop to being a full service restaurant with a host stand out front, a full menu, and table service. So if it's been a few years between visits you'll need to shift your expectations. We stopped here for lunch on a recent visit to Santa Fe and really enjoyed our sandwiches. They still offer a massive selection of teas, which is fun, and tea can be bought in bulk if you happen on one you really like. Lots of shaded patio seating which is great in spring or fall. Wonderful combo with exploring the galleries on Canyon Road.

Yelp
Service was good even though they were pretty busy. Very extensive tea menu. Yummy food options. Nice dog friendly patio.

Yelp
The new menu at the teahouse brings an incredible offering to Santa Fe. The service was lovely and kind. The new decor and furniture made an already cozy spot into something really special. We had the eggs Benedict, breakfast sandwich, and ube muffin for brunch. Just delicious!

Yelp
Food was pretty good, especially for the price. The outside dining area is really nice. The only complaint I'd have is if you sit in side it gets a little toasty.

Yelp
Well it doesn't help that a twenty something demands that my friend's elderly father stand outside in the cold saying "but there's heaters" when the slightest breeze has left them useless Unfortunately it has gone a bit downhill over the years Attention to detail has slipped away, lost it's charm and priced it'self for tourism I still like to stop in but there are considerably more fulfilling options these days
