My experience in Bali wouldn’t have been the same if I would have chosen somewhere else to stay. I had the best time, both in terms of my room and the amazing view, and also the people were amazing, welcoming and always ready to help you. The food was delicious: I was creating some fresh fruits and oil-free nice receipts! All very healthy!! Was very hard to go back to reality…

This magical place was one of the real highlights of our trip to Bali and surrounds. The location is spectacular, on the cliffside with views forever and a real sense of remoteness, even though markets, restaurants etc are really nearby. The food was absolutely spectacular - healthy, light and fresh; we only wish we'd stayed longer so we had time to work through more of the menu! The accommodation is very rustic (only mentioning so that those who want modern amenities like aircon and TV's know not to expect it) but we were completely comfortable in the Gecko Suite as a family of 4. A hot water issue in our outdoor shower was fixed immediately after we reported it, and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Not sure where we felt more relaxed - lounging on the giant daybed outside our room, or at the beautiful pool. All in all it felt like we had retreated into a little cocoon of peace and harmony.

Temple Lodge in Bingin is a charming cliffside hideaway with soulful details and lush, quiet corners to unwind. Unique bungalows, ocean views, a relaxed pool area and kind, attentive staff create a peaceful, soulful atmosphere. Great breakfast, good energy, and easy access to Bingin Beach make it a beautiful base for surfers and slow travelers alike.

This unique spot, on the path down to Bingin Beach, offers truly exceptional views! I only stopped for lunch, but their spaghetti pesto was absolutely delicious – highly recommend it. The place has a fantastic, laid-back backpacker vibe. It's a great choice for a casual meal with a breathtaking backdrop. A hidden gem worth seeking out!

This place is an absolutely amazing sanctuary amidst an otherwise busy area. We stayed in the Temple Suite. It is totally private with its own pool, so we had plenty of naked swimming!||The food is excellent and the view is stunning. It’s worth taking the 100+ stairs down to Bingin Beach (where all the Youngs are). Bring cash so you can sit on the beach and buy some food and beer. It’s a better surfing than swimming beach, but that’s ok. ||Grab cars go there and it’s a 20 ride to Uluwatu Temple. I thought the temple was a bit of a nothing-burger and the monkeys are scary aggressive, but it’s worth it to stay for the Kecak Dance.||My only knock is the spa. The two ladies working on my wife and me were pretty mid. Mine metaphorically and literally phoned it in (she took a call during my massage and spoke for maybe 5 minutes with one hand rubbing the same spot on my leg for the duration).||I’m still giving 5 stars. Don’t get a massage here. We saw a place a 5 minute walk on the bigger road. Probably they know what they are doing.||I highly recommend this place, particularly if you are over 50 and want to be away from the clubbing after dark.

The crew at Temple Lodge are without exception exceptionional, and that includes the food, no request seems beyond their ability and enthusiasm to attend to. It is very relaxed, very beautiful and very welcoming. The Temple Lodge is where I arrive to and depart from every time I visit Bali, and my go to as a place of refuge in between. For a surfer like me access to the exceptional surfing breaks of Impossibles, Bingin, Padang Padang, Balangan, and Uluawtu is so so easy. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Enjoy your stay. 😌

We had a great stay at this accommodation for 5 nights. The check in process and staff young man that did the checking in was great, very friendly and always happy to help us out. The only two negative points we experienced; Eagles nest room - absolutely breathtaking view and everything about the room itself. The only bad things were the notorious monkeys which the accommodation can not do much about but they are certainly around, they know how to turn the shower on and make a mess! They are also quite confident and aggressive if trying to get into room with them around. The hotel does provide slingshots! to get rid of them but failed to tell us about it until the second days afternoon. The toilet is also a bit dodgy in this room as it has no real support underneath it so the wooden floor wobbles/flexes a fair bit and the monkeys would sometimes come take their chances at stealing things from you or the area when on the throne!. Restaurant staff - not very attentive to us during our stay, we ordered meals multiple times but on our final night there was a large Australian group being treated like royalty while it took over 2 hours for us to get our meals (after ordering), we were notified later that the manager had thought we had already had the meals. Bit disappointing as it was our last night and put a bit of a negative on the end of the stay as we spent roughly 4 hours there, luckily they had the view and drinks. Fortunately the hotel had the private suite available for the 3 remaining nights, and it was very nice with no issues. this made up for the restaurant and Eagles Nest toilet. Yoga classes were also great!
