Singapore’s longest-running bilingual theatre delivers bold, heartfelt local productions with a fresh, immersive twist and a passionate community vibe.
"The Theatre Practice (TTP) is the longest-standing professional bilingual theatre group in Singapore. In 1965, theatre doyen Kuo Pao Kun and dancer/choreographer Goh Lay Kuan founded Singapore Performing Arts School, The Theatre Practice’s earliest incarnation.
Over the years, TTP continues to dedicate itself to critique life objectively; to entertain the audience respectfully; to explore new frontiers in art unceasingly through its strong repertoire of local productions and overseas works. Over the last 50 years, TTP has presented and collaborated in over 300 productions ranging from classics embodying Singapore’s diverse cultural backgrounds, to lauded Chinese musicals and experimental works focused on exploring an alternative voice in theatre. TTP also produces the Chinese Theatre Festival which showcases local and overseas black box theatre works, playing an active role in strengthening the foothold of Chinese theatre on an international arena." - Fable

My son joined the Play in Arts programs since he was 3yo until now. He is still enjoying each class and looking forward to every year end performance. All the teachers and staffs are very friendly and fun. They know how to engage individual child and bring out the best in them :)

My friends and I watched Four Horse Road (四马路) on 8 Aug. The show was immersive, humorous, touching and thought-provoking. I loved how the cast interacted with the audience members. The set, costume, light and sound design were impressive as well. Kudos to the cast and crew! Looking forward to their next production!
