Need to put big effort in maintainenceWe stayed sea breeze cottage with higher price, but seem standard room is better choice. Standard room needs to go one floor without lift.

Read reviews before booking but realized too late they were old reviews. This hotel may have been nice once but not anymore, unfortunately. The room was not clean, especially the floor, bathroom and refrigerator. The nice garden forgotten and overgrown and impossible to enjoy. The short walk to the beach and few chairs in bad shape. To summarize, good potential but very rundown. Would not recommend or book again. One positive was the owner/host whom were very helpful with our requests, such as renting motorbikes.

I decided to book this place for my family because I saw the good rating and thought that the price for thousand THB rate should be somewhat more promising. Unfortunately I was in a rush so I couldn't thoroughly check the reviews what other people wrote. So it turned out the be the worst nightmare for my family. Not only the place is very rundown, dirty, the hospitality is at minus. The check in was not smooth which was fine. But these are some facts that inexcusably unacceptable for us. - the drinking glass in the room is unwashed you can still see the lips stain on it - if you bring any food rubbish from outside and leaving here. They will charge you 200THB additionally. I'm quite amazed to see that such level of hospitality like this would still exist and offer such places for such prices. - if you bring any sand to the room you will be charge as well 200Thb additionally, Well I stayed at one resort next door on the same beach. They have shower right at the beach and we washed ourselves everytime after we got off from the beach. And we would unavoidably bring some sand with us to the room anyway. It's over the top that they expect so much from the guests and offer so low level of cleanliness and hospitality for such prices. I am a host myself and own several places for tourists in Bangkok, also have been traveling around a lot and this place is really bad. I feel ashamed that they're such place for tourists in Thailand.

Me and two friends did a roadtrip from Bangkok to Phuket and decided to stay the night at The theatre villa. When we arrived, a bit late, but were warmly welcomed.|The food was excellent, as was the breakfast with homemade bread and eggs picked from free roaming chickens in the garden.|We rented the family room with a single bed and a bunk bed. We are all pretty tall, but all beds were plenty large. The room was not very large, but contained a fridge, tv and had a bathroom with shower.|A nice ocean view was visible from the balcony. In the morning we went down to the nice beach which is located just beneath the Villa.|The beach connects to a few restaurants and pleasant bars.|We only stayed for one night but I highly recommend it.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights as stopover on our way to Krabi and what a pleasant surprise.The owner, Jien, could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We had an ocean view room the first night and as it was booked for our 2nd night we stayed in a bungalow style villa the 2nd night. Both rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The beach a few meters in front of the property was relaxing and beautiful. Also, breakfast is prepared at your convenience until 10:00 am and it was outstanding. My wife and I will be returning in the future for a longer stay.

I made only one mistake in booking there, we only booked for one night, after 1 hour there we wanted to extend our stay but the beach side room that we had was booked for the next day. Fantastic little resort with a real family feel because of the ultra friendly staff/owner, who made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived and attended to our every need. The beach is deserted but clean and lovely to sit and walk on. The breakfast with the homemade bread, great coffee and extended choice of exotic fruit was top notch. Would love to return one day.

We stayed three nights at this out of the way hotel. Amazing service. Jane is the owner/manager and she is so nice, incredibly helpful and genuinely an honest person. She can arrange for motorbike rental, minivan to next town, whatever. Rooms simple but bright and clean, beds Asian style comfort level, nice pillows. AC good. Nice sea views! Breakfast outstanding. We are there for supper one night too. Very tasty, fast and affordable!

Stayed here for a couple of nights to have a bit of R & R during our travels. We were collected from the train station (even though our train was really late arriving). Check in was quick. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was really comfortable. Air con was good. Shower was hot. WiFi was great. Beach area was nice with beach towels provided. Breakfast was extremely tasty and plentiful. They even went to the train station the morning we were leaving and purchased our tickets to make sure we could get on the train and later on took us to the station. Would definitely recommend.
