On the Grid : the THiRSTY PIG

"Whether you want to stop by for a quick house-made sausage and a Maine beer or have a casual night out hanging on the deck playing cornhole, there are so many things to love about the THirSTY PIG. In the winter don't miss the monthly craft night and in the summer relax and watch a movie projected onto the brick outside." - Mainelyseo

15 Best Bars in Portland, Maine | Condé Nast Traveler

"The Thirsty Pig feels so Old Port: high ceilings, lots of exposed brick, weathered wood floors, and zero frills. The rotating selection is a comprehensive who’s-who of Maine craft breweries, and the beers pair very nicely with the house-made sausage, as well as a wildly eclectic mix of a dozen different specialty hot dogs. The friendly staff is just as into the beer and hot dogs as the clientele." - Joe Ricchio

Google
We just went in there because of the name 😅 Stuff is friendly. Beer is great. They have a lot of different sorts on tab. We ordered some hotdogs as well. I had „The German“ with mustard, sauerkraut and pretzel bites and my girl had the „Poor Man‘s Philly“ with peppers, mushrooms, onions and cheese sauce. Both were really god and flavorful. Would definitely come again.

Google
I got the Icelandic hotdog and it was a pretty good, normal hotdog but missing some key components of a traditional Icelandic hotdog (crispy fried onions and brown mustard). It was pretty busy and quite loud, but there was live music which was cool. There is very little indoor seating.

Google
Kickass dawg joint! Awesome chill vibes and fantastic patio. Get a draught beer and hang for the live music. Veggie dog is legit 🌱

From the moment we walked into The Thirsty Pig, we felt like family. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the entire atmosphere had such a cool, laid-back vibe... the perfect spot to unwind in the heart of Portland. The food? Absolutely incredible. Every bite was flavorful, and they were super accommodating with our requests. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this place is a must. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
Fantastic restaurant in the Heart of Portland. They offer a delicious variety of hot dogs and sausages, with a few other appetizers of different styles. They also feature a large drink menu, with a revolving list of local items. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating means I've rarely struggled to find somewhere to sit, and they frequently host bands and other live events to add to the atmosphere. A favorite late night and weekend spot, great for a break during a pub crawl.

Google
Good beer selection. Nice people. Just overpriced. $10 bucks for the street corn dip, 17 bucks for a bubbly, and the hot dog ...meh

Came here for a few drinks on a Friday afternoon. The happy hour crowd hadn’t arrived yet. We ordered at the bar and sat in their gorgeous back area. Loved all the beautiful Ivy scaling the sides of the building. A very big open space. We tried some delicious local brews. Fun spot!

Google
I love this place! We come every time we’re in Portland. The food is great, the staff is friendly, and the margarita and espresso martinis were delicious. The housemade sausages are extra delicious - if any of the flavors are interesting to you, definitely get one.

Yelp
Who doesn't love a good dog. And lucky for me they have veggie dogs that you can style any of their ways! I got mine "Kind of a big dill" and it was delish. Comes with a side of potato chips. $10 Good drink menu, was able to try the new bissell brothers seltzers and enjoy the outside on their little patio looking at the beautiful vine plant climbing up the brick wall. Bathrooms available for patrons but no parking. Walk up service, order and bring a number to your table.

Yelp
This was the best hot dog I've ever had in my life!!! Everything on the menu sounded so delicious and there was tons of variety! The atmosphere was amazing, it was clean, and the staff was very friendly! I would recommend if you're in Portland. A MUST! Very reasonable pricing

Yelp
I haven't been here in ages - but we were looking for a spot after an event in downtown Portland and my friend had suggested that we go there. It was sooo good! They were busy, lots of people wanting food after the event - but service was friendly, the deck was fabulous and the drinks were yummy. I had a Philly sandwich that was so tender, with peppers and chips. Everything was perfect on it. Wayne had one as well, and he had his with a house specialty margarita. I had a light lager. Our friends enjoyed a Chicago dog and an Icelandic dog w/red snapper - who knew? The owners were amazing and according to my friend, they do it all - from often making their own sausages to running the place. We heard some live music - started after we arrived, but sounded pretty good!

Yelp
If you're looking for a hot dog. And like hot dogs; it's great. I had the chili dog and it was solid, probably 4/5. My buddy had the hot Italian sausage and sired it was great. He rarely eats hot dogs. I think my dog was boiled. Not sure if that is how they are all prepared. Lots of options. Cool vibe. Nice niche.

Yelp
Stopped in for a lunch as we needed something to eat before going on a lobster boat excursion. This is by our hotel and I wanted a Chicago style hot dog. The toppings were the Chicago style but the hot dog was not. I believe a beef frank is used but here was a pork and beef which is tasteless and pink. I was slightly disappointed. My wife got the queso and chips. They were good. Service was good.

Yelp
As a non meat-eater and someone who doesn't enjoy beer, I had steered clear of The Thirsty Pig for years. Can I just say: what a mistake that was! I had no idea they had a veggie dog (which is delicious and indistinguishable from the real thing). I got the Kind of a Big Dill dog, topped with pickled onions, banana peppers, dill pickles, and dill ranch, all stuffed inside a standard hotdog bun. Although it was messy, I can't say it didn't hit the spot. The pretzel appetizer (with mustard and cheese sauce) was also stellar. My friend ordered the chorizo queso, which she highly recommends. As for drinks, I opted for the Orange Creamsicle Cider. There have been countless times where I've been let down by a cider promising a sweet flavor only to drink something that tastes like dirt. This looked, smelled, and tasted EXACTLY like an orange creamsicle. Can't recommend it enough! The service is efficient and friendly. The outdoor back patio is beyond pleasant; plenty of seating and a variety of it for different party sizes. Look out upon the streets of Old Port or the vine-covered walls of the backside of the building. Although the place is more casual, feel free to dress up or down, there seems to be no judgement either way. My one complaint is that the live music was far too loud for anyone (including the cashier) to hear each other! Overall, a great spot for apps, hot dogs, and drinks (beer or cider especially). The prime location on Exchange makes this spot a must-try!

Yelp
The beer was delicious. We tried peaches and cream and all the way up (a sour beer) both amazing. For food, we tried the all-American dog and the hot Italian, the all American tasted like your average good American hotdog and the hot Italian had more on the sour side due to the relish with a mild spice to it. I really liked the atmosphere in here, great music, not too loud that you can have conversations and chill. The only thing that I was disappointed about is that their hours said that they closed at 9:00pm so we rushed back the same night for more and made it by 8:30pm but they were already closed.

Yelp
Went into Thirsty Pig on a whim while strolling downtown with a friend. The interior decor is really cool -- VCR tapes near the bar, figurines displayed, obscure board games/mazes on the counter. You can even request a movie to be played. I got a Tubular and the Viking hot dog, while my friend got the Chili Bomb on a red snapper. Mine came with caramelized onions, bacon, cheddar, Thai aioli, and BBQ sauce. Honestly could not really taste the aioli as it was overpowered by the BBQ. It was pretty good though, and knowing this is a joint known for dogs and brews, I can't really complain about the high price. Next time, I'd love to sit outside on the patio!

Yelp
As usual, The Pig never disappoints! My buddy had already ordered before I got there, so guessing it was a flight of different sausages with different toppings. I thought all were good and they paired nicely with the selection of beers they carry. It's a fun place with great outdoor seating and a bike rack just outside the patio. Sweet!

Yelp
As happens quite often, I have a tentative plan to go one place, and it's a bit crowded, and then another place, but it's not open, and then end up somewhere completely unplanned. This evening's plan D was The Thirsty Pig. It was great! I enjoyed two hot dogs (chicago and elote) and a platter of pickles (the "pickletizer"). Chicago - excellent. I was a fan of Chicago Dogs and Halsted's Chicago Eats when they were open and this was great too. I think it could have had a little more spice to it, but it was really enjoyable. Elote - the flavor of the elote was on point, but I don't think it worked in the form of a hot dog. It was more just. seasoned corn on a plain hot dog. Pickles - awesome. sour pickles, dill pickles, mustard pickles, a spicy relish, banana hots, and pickled onions. Everything on the plate was delicious. I held back and got a togo box for the rest. I'm going to be enjoying these babies all week. Or at least the rest of the evening!! A guy at the next table over was clearing what they hadn't eaten and they hadn't even touched half the plate. For shame!! I ate out on the patio, which was very pleasant. I liked the procedure of ordering at the counter and having the food brought out to you. And I can't end this review without mentioning the prices are VERY reasonable.

Yelp
Love their hot dogs. Need to get the red hot. It's their bigger dog. Had a great taste and snap. Great variety of toppings and types of hotdog styles. Good service and atmosphere. Try to go here for lunch every time I'm in Portland.

Yelp
The Thirsty Pig was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a tasty bite. The firecracker chicken sandwich was good; however, my husband's pulled pork sandwich was fantastic! I appreciated the friendly service and the dog-friendly picnic benches in the shade.
google avatar

Yelp
If you like a casual meal and inviting patio this is your spot. There's so many dips and appetizers to choose from and all the dogs sounded amazing. Beer selection was fantastic and staff was so nice. We loved the street corn dip and the ballpark dog. It was huge and definitely enough to split. If I had more time in Portland I would've came back here in a heartbeat!

Yelp
Let's start with, where the heck have been eating every time I came to Portland. This gem has been here since 2012. I had a hard time deciding what to order so I ended up with trying one of the hotdogs as well as their house made sausage. I also ordered 2 sides (potato salad & the baked beans) what a great meal I had. The hotdog was great with their twist on the Chicago Dog. It had a great pop when I bit into it. The sausage I had to cut to eat for it was large and the taste that you only get from a fresh made sausage. See the photo of the inside the sausage. It was popping with so much flavor and you must try for the freshness will explode all over your tastebuds. Now to the sides. The potato salad was small red potatoes and mixed with the right amount of dill. Highly recommend it. As for the baked beans...... OMG I was in baked beans heaven. I could have had just a serving bowl of them. They had cut up hot dogs, bacon, and a thick base to it. Could not pick out any one ingredient it was that well mixed. If you go and really want a good item to start with the baked beans are the shiznit. The interior was a little dark but not bad for the food lights up the room. They have a stage for some entertainment. (Check the web site for events This place was so worth it. I will be back.

Yelp
We read about this place on Trip Advisor, and since we love a good dog, we wanted to try it out. Unfortunately, the day we visited, they had a very limited menu curated for the 4th of July, so we couldn't try any of the unusual creations they typically have. I am weird about hot dogs and can't eat the red ones, so I passed mine onto my husband. The pretzel and the pasta salad were great, though!

Yelp
Craving a quick bite in between meals, we opted for Chicago dogs while in Portland. They did not disappoint w a chopped medley of peppers, onion, tomato making every bite flavorful. Nice!!!!

Yelp
I wish I had more time to spend here. This place had an amazing ambiance and great brewskis. Unfortunately, we only stayed for a bit, but the time we did have was great. Glancing at the food in passing, let me know that next time I am in town, I will be stopping in for much longer.

Yelp
I had a very late lunch/very early dinner at this eatery. There is a cool and relaxed vibe at this place. It was early autumn weather, permitting us to sit at their outdoor patio deck. I ordered up the Thai chicken sausage along with a plate of tomato basil hummus. It was all tasty and satisfying. For drink, pumpkin spiced beer added to the feast. Lots of flavors going on, and quite good. Great relaxed environment, good location, friendly employees, and not your everyday day menu items. Stop here for something out of the ordinary.

Yelp
What a genuinely fun restaurant. They've got it all...well at least in terms of drinks, homemade sausages, and Hot Dogs. I mean, how do you resist a place where you can order a Hot Dog named the "spicy mcfirepants"?!? (It's delicious btw) It's my goal to try every sausage, sandwich & Hot Dog on their menu. In fact, all of the sides too. That was a long winded way of saying that I want it all. If you don't feel the same, what are you even doing with your life?? It's a great place to meet up with friends, with indoor and patio seating (depending on season of course). The only real disappointment you will face at the Thirsty pig is when the sausage you want is sold out. It's a pretty big bummer, but I'll always forgive them. They're worth it.

Yelp
We planned to eat here ahead of time based on photos and the menu but getting there and ordering seemed a bit different. We thought they'd be more vegan options but really there was one. Considering I've been to a similar place back in NJ I was expecting bursts of flavor, especially with the combination of ingredients, the most flavorful items were the chips and condiments, which is just disappointing. This is really more of a beer place than food. I would come back with friends to try some local brews but I'd save the meal for another location.
google avatar

Brandon D.

Yelp
Me and my family visited Maine for a while and we stumbled upon this place for lunch. I get the lunch rush and there being a few people but there were 4 of us and they brought out all of our food at completely different times. We were all done and ready to leave and they had not brought our last Philly sandwich. The food is good but not worth waiting almost 45 minutes for. The vibe is great. Especially on the outside deck where there's a plethora of seating. The only thing that kinda made it not worth coming back for is the wait time for the food, but other than that, it was cool.
google avatar

Kristin S.

Yelp
Chaotic. Worth the chaotic but chaotic nonetheless. They have a small ordering area & an even smaller kitchen so if they are extremely busy, it can really kill their whole system. Food was delicious, beer was good & the place itself is nice. I just felt there could be a better vibe/flow.
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped by after putting our name in at Highroller Lobster up the street on our first day in Portland. This bar seems like a great local hangout - we met three people that have lived in Portland for 10+ years, and it was great to hear how it's changed over some tasty beers. I'd say their dark beers are my favorite; pretty rich but not too heavy. The atmosphere was great, and even though I think everyone in Portland looks cooler than me, the bartenders and patrons made me feel like part of the crew. The decor is pretty wild too. Worth a stop!
google avatar

Ajay M.

Yelp
Good beer and dogs and with a nice vibe. The dogs are fantastic. I tired the "scary dog" and the "spicy dog". They were not huge so I'd recommend ordering several if you're hungry. Nice selection of drafts and cans as well. The staff were friendly and offer good dog and beer recommendations. The selection of DVDs to chill out and watch is also impressive.
google avatar

Yelp
A simple place with great flavors! My boyfriend and I walked in on a Wednesday at around 2pm to no crowd. The ordering system was quite easy. We ordered at the counter. A sausage with bun and a Spicy Pirate. We also got 2 of the beers on draft. The employee handed us a table number and said a waiter would be out with our food. She poured our beers in glass and we found a cute place to sit outside. As for the food, it was great! The Spicy Pirate was good. Not spicy but the pork was yummy. Don't expect it to be spicy. And interesting - a cinnamon flavor to the pork. The Mediterranean sausage with roll was delicious and huge. Filled with olive tapenade and topped with cheese and peppers. Delicious! The outdoor space was cute and not crowded. The employees were nice and the food came out quite quick. Would definitely rate this place as lunch!

Yelp
We can't say enough good things about The Thirsty Pig! We stopped in for some apps and drinks while on our trip and we were instantly drawn to the cool vibe and the ease of this place. Loved the outside deck area, it was so pretty! We enjoyed all of our food and beers. Definitely a bright spot in our trip!

Betsy K.

Yelp
When going to Portland always have to stop at the Thirsty Pig for a beer. Appetizers were good!
google avatar

Bill M.

Yelp
Stopped here after walking around Old Port. Has a local bar feel without being a "dive". Great local beer selection. The bartender gave some good recommendations for brewery visits. The sausages were fantastic and if you like pickles, get the pickletizer! Definitely appreciate the games for kids as well.

Shawn M.

Yelp
Good beer selection just order at the counter. Great buffalo chicken dip and live music.

Yelp
This is a busy, hip little place to stop into for a quick beer and a bite to eat if you're shopping on Exchange St. My fiancé and I split an Icelandic hot dog (it really isn't meant for sharing but we were more curious to just try it) and we each got a beer. The hot dog was a great combination of a familiar flavor with a different twist to it. We both agreed that we especially liked the crunchy onions on top. In total I believe our whole order came to about $23. The beers were kinda small but we hardly noticed because on a day with nice weather it's a really great atmosphere. There's a lot of good energy and it's loud but not impossible to talk. I think they would benefit from more seating If they could figure out a way to make that happen. Personally I feel like this place is worth checking out if you're in the area. I wouldn't make this a dinner destination but for a few beers and a quick lunch or snack it's great!
google avatar

Hannah W.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place while walking around town. Seating out front, street side, and a nice patio area out back. I was hesitant to order the Icelandic Dog because I've been to Iceland and they have the best dogs I've ever eaten. I'm assuming he was the owner, but he was saying that he too had been to Iceland, so I was intrigued. While not a true Icelandic dog, it was one of the better attempts. The fried onion is a must and the roll was soft and buttery. Also a fan of the beers we tried.

Yelp
So we were Looking just for a beer. We found it here.Choices included BUBBLY,Holiday Sauce, Liquid Leftovers... How can you not find something to love.can I just say it smells amazing of you are hungry lol... Playing Christmas movies and the Hostess pouring beers has an amazing story. A Plus

Yelp
What a fun little find. After checking into hotel we were looking for a "fast" meal. I got the chili dog, my daughter got the Chicago vegan and my grandson got a dog with mustard, ketchup and relish. We also got the pickle appetizer which had 6 different kinds of pickles . Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was prompt. They even had games, coloring for kids and games to keep you busy
google avatar

Alyssa C.

Yelp
Tried the blueberry sausage and it was tasty and juicy. Wasn't sure what to expect with the blueberry, but the blueberry flavor was veryy mild so you couldn't really tell it was there. Toasted bun was perfect to complement the sausage. Ambiance was casual with a hip yet rustic feel, a nice spot to hangout. Overall the IPA, sausage, and service were all good, just not exceptional enough to be worth the price.

Suzanne W.

Yelp
I had the veggie Philly sandwich which was absolutely delicious. My partner had the Reuben dog which he said was fantastic, he could have eaten three of them. We sat outside on the deck which was a fun people watching spot. Good beer and wine!
google avatar

Yelp
Cool place. I'm here visiting from Texas so I like the outdoor patio and live music. Gorgeous weather today for it. Friendly staff. I liked the local Pilsner I had but can't remember the name of it. Fun place!

Yelp
I first ran across the Thirsty Pig when I was staying at the nearby Hampton Inn, and found it to be a kicked-back, casual spot that's nice to grab a bite and/or to share a pint or three with friends. All the local brews I've tried here to date have been spot-on, and their homemade meat dishes are first-rate! Tip: They have some nice appetizers on their menu; I can personally attest to the quality of their large pretzels :-) The ambiance is quite nice - I especially like the vintage architectural charm, and their staffers are invariably helpful and friendly! I've been here two or three times now, and haven't tried a bad dish yet. My favorites thus far have been their New Englander (a drool-worthy house-made dog that's served on a tasty grilled bun with baked beans, bacon and Cole slaw) and the BallPark (house-made sausage with onions and peppers - not greasy at all and completely delicious!). In addition to a very respectable list of cold brews, they've also got wine and the usual non-alcoholic beverages - I recommend this place whole heartedly!
google avatar

Olivia W.

Yelp
Thirsty Pig is a typical counter service restaurant - nothing special to write home about. The hot dogs are good, but the menu could use some more variety of sides and sandwiches...the variety of hot dog options is overwhelming (in a good way). After a long morning of sight-seeing I was looking for something heartier than a dressed-up dog. Service was slow and the place is definitely no frills, more dive-y than I was expecting, especially in the heart of downtown Portland. Overall the experience was fine, but I don't think I'll be back next time I'm in town.

Yelp
I was so happy to be able to stop into the Thirsty Pig while visiting with a friend in Portland yesterday! We had the best experience. I love that this place survived the pandemic. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with such friendliness that we knew we were going to have a good time. The way this spot works is you order at the counter, pay, and then find a seat in which they bring your food to you. My friend and I shared the Dip Party, Pickletizer, and a dog. All three delicious. Of the three dips (buffalo chicken dip, pimento cheese dip, hummus) the buffalo chicken was my favorite. It was a delicious vinegary sauce with just enough spice. I really enjoyed the pimento dip as well because cheese but the hummus dip did leave me wanting a bit more. The texture of the hummus was just a bit off however we were told they had just put this item on the menu that day so chances are they are still figuring some things out. Our pickletizer was just a dish layered with different types of pickles and it was fantastic. (Pickle lover here!) I unfortunately do not recall the name of the dog my friend ordered but it was also loaded with pickles and pulled pork and the was a great addition to our snacking-lunch. Although the food was amazing, it wasn't the stand out component of our experience. The service here was out of this world. Every employee we interacted with was smiling, friendly, and genuinely seemed to be happy serving their customers. 10/10 would recommend for the service itself. The Wednesday afternoon crew rocked it. Thank you, Thirsty Pig!

Yelp
Neat place and good hot dogs. I was just in Chicago and had hot dogs there for the first time in years. These dogs were just as good. A good selection of local brews. Everyone orders their dogs and beers from the same spot, and they bring the dogs to you. There are no menus (paper or QR). The choices are displayed on a screen that is over the bar where you order. You need to memorize or write down (or take a picture of what you want because there are three screens of dogs. I forgot what I wanted for my second dog and I had to wait a minute to get my order completed. If you want water, there are cups and a tap across from the bar where you order. A hipster vibe with some nice outdoor art and some more in the bathrooms. I walked so I can't tell you about parking.

Yelp
The sausage sampler slaps. The one with blueberries needs to be wrapped in a pancake and served on a breakfast menu ASAP. Great selection of beers and love the patio outback. Solid vibes and prices. Also love the "kind of a big dill" hot dog with ranch (consumed promptly after finishing this sampler). Not a bad bite was had.
google avatar

Mark R.

Yelp
Wow. This place has been on my must-visit list for a very long time and on our first visit to Portland went day one. Such a lovely setting and food was superb. PLEASE try the sausage platter as the variety changes and they were all intriguing and well worth the volume! The menu is deep and plenty to choose from. I'll visit again next time we are in Portland.

Yelp
it was around dinner time when I heard a loud sound that I though was an exotic bird or a car crash. Turns out, it was my husband Richard's stomach. We went into the next restaurant we could find. We ordered the five dog sampler which is such a slay. Because it is just whatever 5 hotdogs the chef feels like making at the time. If I was the chef I would serve my own personal recipe called "Hawt Dawg: which is a hot dog that is boiled with spaghetti noodles pushed into it so that when it boils, it looks horrifying. Unfortunately, that is not a Menu option but when it is inevitably added, I deserve a cut. It was all exceptionally delicious, and I recommend the outdoor seating. It was spacious and beautiful and after a good hour of staring at the old building that is home to Thirsty Pig I am absolutely certain that it is haunted. Have you ever had a ghost haunt a hog dog? Can you try and let me know how it goes? Gay friendly. Thank you
google avatar

Caleb G.

Yelp
If you like sausage and love trying new types of sausage combinations then this place is for you! It is fairly pricey, but it's a somewhat popular place in Portland so what do you expect? I've ordered a few other items, but all were pretty meh.

Yelp
Got into Portland and we were hungry, getting close to hangry. Quickly searched for vegan food and also had my eye out for a place that would have great beer. One of the highest results was another place a little farther from the center of downtown. We drove there and it was a supermarket, a famous one, a nice one, yet still a chain and I was pretty disappointed in my yelp community for letting me, a tourist, end up there as one of the highest ranked spots w vegan food. Now that might be true, but, I didn't come to Portland for the grocery stores, however nice! Quickly go back on yelp and found this spot: fit the bill- all brats, vegan food too, and really good beer. Sold. Parking is a little wild on all the side streets but it's all walkable downtown. Great little spot. Has tv w vintage or 90s or 00s DVDs playing. Selection of something for everyone. Vegan Brat was very filling! Had Bissel Bros on tap which is rare even in the city it's made. Price added up quickly ($40 w tip for two brat sandwiches, two very nice beers) for what we had but overall enjoyable and better than a chain grocery store and it's fancy pub! I hope you'll go here instead and support a local business!

Yelp
I am glad I had the opportunity to explore Maine. This place is rated one of the best hangout places in Portland. We arrived during lunch and it was already packed. We waited for our turn to order and grab a table. We ordered three types of hotdogs. They were all delicious. I posted some pictures. I wished we had ordered a sausage from the sea. Next time I will get that. I enjoyed the backyard a lot because it was fun and lively. The service was great, too. The only thing I did not like was the bathroom, it was kinda sticky on the handle and inside too, but if you think about it, it is a bar. I would come back!

My second review of this joint! Run, don't walk to this spot! I took their BBQ sandwich and put it on the sweet and spicy Thai sausage. (Coleslaw and all).

Yelp
Have been here twice, and both times the service was very lacking... Got a cider that tasted off (overheard bartender say he's glad they got rid of that "swill" since I got the last glass). Asked if they would give me a different pour instead of the bottom of the barrel, and got told that they can't just give free beer to anyone who doesn't like their drink. Not the best way to keep customers coming back - good luck guys.

Yelp
Casual bar and food place. Their thing is hot dogs and what not. They're good at it. If you like hot dogs, bratwurst, sausage etc you can't go wrong coming here. The service is friendly. Beers and drinks on tap. You got up to the counter to order and they'll bring your food to your table (or call your name). Prices are reasonable.
