The Thomas Daniell, what can I say? It is absolutely fantastic. The staff are very friendly, polite, and very welcoming. Great beers, great food, a very nice pub, clean, lovely decor, a nice seating area at the front of the pub, and a beautiful flower garden. Cheers, Vince.

Loved the setting and ambiance.
Food was amazing, we both had the Asian Duck and were blown away by how good it was. Portion size was good too.

After the controversy over Food Review Club losing credibility for giving paid-for amazing reviews. We were a bit skeptical The Thomas Daniel would live up to the hype. So our expectations were pretty low and pretty skeptical it would actually be any good.
But wow! This place delivered! It really was incredible. Highly recommended classic roast beef. The attention to detail and the decor. All to a very high standard. It’s quite pricey, our bill came to almost £90. For 2 of us. (We did have 2 ciders each though) But we would visit again as a treat

Managed to squeeze in a booking on the Saturday evening. Really nice place and ambience
Staff were super friendly and attentive during our meal.
Had chicken and pavlova. Food was great and a good selection of drinks including local skinners beers.
It was a little lively with plenty of drinkers both inside and out too.

This place was really lovely and we had a lovely meal here. The staff were amazing and really welcoming. They even gave us a dessert on the house, for our anniversary which really made our night. Highly recommend.

Well very nicely decorated restaurant with amazing service, nothing was to much trouble. Food was amazing. Only down fall it was a Friday evening and it was a little loud.

Fabulous. Food was exceptional, service perfect and a lovely atmosphere.
Highly recommend Asian style Duck and the fish and chips. Not able to manage a desert but they looked wonderful.
