Too bad the company fails to do simple maintenance on such a charming property. They put everything into the property across the street but ignore this little gem. Awful bathroom mold, hot tub was also filled with mold and had no working lights at night. Cute set up but no towel refills, or water. Too bad they don’t install vending machines in the little office for ice cream or juice. So much potential. Take it from a veteran hotel manager. Company is stepping over dollars to pick up dimes.

I'm really confused. This is supposed to be a pretty nice little resort. But holy cow! In all my years of travel, I've never had this complete lack of privacy! ALL of the shades in the living room, next to the bed, and in the kitchen have such severe gaps next to the window, people can see in my unit all the time. I'm not sure about you, but I want absolute privacy, not 'mostly' private. I've had to hang towels, jackets, and when I ran out of those, stacking pillows and seat cushions just to have privacy... I've never ever faced such a dereliction in my life. When you add to that the door not having a double lock, the front gate being propped open so that literally ANYONE who wants to get onto the the pool area can with Z-E-R-O problems -- even at 10:30pm(!) -- I simply do not feel safe. Finally - it's just not all that clean or well maintained. Pubic hair in the shower is such an indication. T The shower head sprays right into your face when you turn on the water.... The bathroom floor is warping because of the excess water... The music is too loud... So this property is a big nope for me

We booked last minute due to arriving in Palm Springs a day early. Our deluxe room had everything we needed including a great kitchen area and gorgeous views. The finishing is a little rough in places but we found the hotel to be clean and generally well looked after. Lovely pool which was cleaned early morning and plentiful towels and flavoured iced water next to the sunbeds. The breakfast was a little disappointing however, with bought in muffins, yogurt and past their best pieces of fruit. This could be improved especially as it forms part of the $39 resort fee.||Overall though we had a great time and I would recommend if you are looking for a semi private retreat as only 10 rooms. The sister property over the road has a fab restaurant and rooftop bar if you want to venture out though.

Wish I had stayed somewhere else. My room (all rooms) surround the pool area. There was loud thumping music when I arrived. Had to ask three times to get the music in the pool area lowered. They did lower the music after the second ask, saying it was because the power had gone out a few days earlier, but when I came back from dinner the music was as loud as ever and I asked again to get it lowered. Walls are paper thin and this “resort and spa” atmosphere was more like a disco. In the room the power outlet to the tea kettle didn’t work. Couldn’t remove the plug to heat water elsewhere in the room because the countertop was built over the plug, trapping it into the wall. Useless amenity. Hard bed—like a futon mattress—and uncomfortable pillows. My neck, shoulder and body hurt after the night in that bed. Bathroom water faucet drips constantly. Hall floor near the bathroom looks like it has caked on mud…or worse. Wall outlets in the bathroom don’t work so have to use the hair dryer at the only working plug in the room, which is the nightstand near the bed. The mirror is on the wall across from the bed, so I knelt in the middle of the bed to access the mirror and then gave up because the mirror is too far away to see what your doing. “Breakfast” was hot water for tea, coffee, a selection of apples and oranges, a few mini yogurts, and unpackaged dry granola. I gave up and went elsewhere.

No privacy. Everyone can see directly into the bedroom with clear view of the bed. The blinds are missing pieces. The tv doesn’t work. Lack of towels. No employee onsite, you have to go across the street to check in and get any assistance. Not recommended

Location and pool area is nice. Other than that, I’d skip this place. You can get far better for a bit more money elsewhere in Palm Springs. The room was very cheaply put together. Light fixtures broken, paint stripes on mirrors, floor tiles have huge gaps in between boards. The most disgusting part was that the cups and silverware in the room were clearly not washed. Breakfast is muffins, apples, and yogurt. I’d skip this place. It’s not worth the price point at all.

Don't let the pictures deceive you; this hotel was a disappointment from check-in to check-out. Our room was dirty. We turned the bedspread down to discover hairs from a previous guest and a stained sheet. The bathroom was dirty with hairs along the tub and floor and toothpaste stains on the sink. (There was no sink plug and no body lotion.) We asked for clean sheets and that the room be cleaned. We got clean sheets but the bathroom remained untouched. We sent photos of the bathroom and were told by the manager, "I'm so disappointed in my cleaning staff" and that was it. Good luck getting your morning coffee (the restaurant opens at 7:30 a.m.) I was told by the staff to go next door (?) and when I mentioned the front desk told me they were open they told me "we just got here" as in, "no coffee". We asked if the pool music could be turned down (we were the only people at the pool) and were told, "yes, let me make that happen for you" and it was never turned down or off. We had 2 rooms and all of us had similar experiences. The final insult to injury are the signs around the hotel to "be kind", "be courteous". How about "be competent", "be clean". I don't blame the staff. I blame management. If you like surface smiles, cliche responses and surface cleaning this hotel is for you.

This place is filthy and poorly maintained. Stayed for 3 nights during Indian Wells tournament. Pillows and sheets were old, worn, gray. Pillows were completely disgusting, clearly had not been upgraded since the midcentury origins of this motel. No staff or support onsite. Everything is run out of hotel across the street. Accumulated dirt and dust on floor, furniture. Textiles so old and dilapidated. No two towels matched. Bathroom vanity peeling, water damaged. Window latch broken in bathroom so no security. Blinds old, dried up, cracking, falling off if touched. TV remote didn’t have parts, back batteries exposed. 3 nights was $1705 and it was horrifying. Friend tried to get coffee at 7:30am across the street when the restaurant opened and they said sorry, we just got here. Friends room had hair on bedsheets and in bathroom upon arrival. This place is a complete nightmare and the staff really don’t care. They comped a beer to each of us which was insulting. Saccharine apologies only made it worse.
