The Three P Beach Resort & Dive Center

Fantastic macro diving! I was very happy with my stay here - from initial contact to final send off all the staff were friendly yet professional. David the chef was always around and a true rock. The resort was comfortable and particularly well designed for uw photographers. Do bring ear plugs/nocie cancelling headphones if you are a light sleeper - the local roosters are active most of the night. Food was great - there was even a few guests at other lodges who came here to eat. Dive boats were small (but functional) and no snacks were served between dives. There were drinks and a dry towel for everyone. Boat crew kept perfect track of all the gear. My dive guides J.Paul and Bobby were excellent critter spotters and delivered anything you asked for! Critters were moved for better photo opportunities (those black background Melibe colemani pictures are unfortunately not the animals in their natural habitat) but the guides were diligent to put them back afterwards. Briefings were rarely given but all the diving was similar; swim to an area with some (quite damaged) coral and only move a few meters while the guides showed you things. Romblon is very much a macro destination - if you are looking for turles and beautiful coral there are better areas. Overall super happy with both the resort, food and diving. Will be returning!

We had a truly excellent stay - best food on the island and the rooms and dive equipment were top notch. The diving is absolutely incredible, especially for macro. Very remarkable species here. Renting a motorbike is a great way to explore the rest of the island and go into town while you're staying here. Our main issue was that the first guide we had (for our first two days of diving) seemed to do everything he could to touch the reef. Full hand grabs to living coral heads, picking living things up, stabilizing himself on the coral, you name it. Every time we looked at him, he was touching something. This wasn't just a finger tip or pointer on a rock or something. In all our diving, we've never seen someone seemingly go out of their way to touch things. Look, we're not from here and we're not the ones training the guides. But we have an issue when guides do this on our behalf. One of the first things you see in the room booklets is a notice that these are fragile ecosystems and we should do everything we can to keep our hands and gear off of it. Please please please hold your guides accountable. He also didn't do briefings unless we asked (and it was literally just depth and time that he communicated) and he also barely did spotting. After we voiced our concerns, the staff very quickly rectified things and reassigned us to a guide that did MUCH better on this and was excellent at spotting as well. So all in all, a wonderful experience from that point on. Thanks Three P! We hope to be back one day and do more critter spotting :)

The diving is great here. The guides have been excellent and seem to find the tiniest of creatures. It takes a 9 hour ferry ride from batangas but that seems to keep keep the crowds away. Beautiful islands surround you and 80F water in January is hard to beat.

I had such an amazing experience at Three P with my wife! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home — the entire 3P family made the experience truly special. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and the service throughout was warm and attentive. The food was another highlight — fresh, homemade, and always delicious. We had an introductory dive and it was unforgettable — our host Kati and Phillip and the guide are incredibly skilled at what they do, and they clearly care about both the marine life and the divers’ experience. We enjoyed the local culture of Romblon island, the clean and serene beaches and the mesmerizing sunsets. Every day felt like a new discovery. Thank you to the whole team for making our time in Romblon so memorable. I already miss the place, and I truly hope to come back soon. Highly recommended!

I booked here for a week but then I couldn't go because I was bitten by a dog & had to seek medical attention & rabies shots. I had to cancel five days before my trip and asked them if they would refund my 15.000pesos at least partially as it was an emergency and I was in a very dire situation. They had many rooms available so it wasn't as if they missed out on guests because of my reservation. They offered a voucher for 4000pesos - when I asked them if they could make that a refund they never replied. I just wanted to warn everyone about the caracter of the owners of this place: you are going to a very remote place, so you want to stay with people who help out in an emergency. These are people who glady profit and take money without any services rendered. So just be aware.

One of the best scuba diving resorts in the Philippines for underwater macro photography! Also, a special mention for the fantastic food that they serve. I stayed for a week and every single meal was amazing! A hundred percent would come back again.

I had an EXCELLENT time staying at the Three P Beach Resort..I hope to go back this year. The owners were super kind, as were the dive masters and boat crew. The crew were very accommodating and carried my huge camera to the boat and back to the rinse area every dive. The dive masters are excellent creatures spotters and fun to dive with. The room was well thought out for photographers. It was modern, comfortable and clean. The owners have several creature ID books that are available for guests to borrow. They provide free wifi, but the signal is not very strong, so I had to walk to the main building to use it, but it's available.

This is a dive resort , if you don't dive ,there isn't much else available.|We spent 3 weeks here the diving is macro or super macro. You can opt for different dive packages, we did 2 tank dives every morning, they offer night diving, Blackwater and bonfire.|The diving was amazing and I still have lots of critters to see, so will definitely be returning.|There are 5 or 6 oceanfront rooms of which offer different capacities.|They are clean and the air con is effective.|There is no beach unless you use the gap where there are no mangrove roots. This didn't affect our stay. There are a few trips out like Sunbird cafe , marble factory, but not much else. We hired a scooter and went out for a few hours around the island which is incredibly beautiful.|The chef is David, make sure to tell him if you don't like anything from the start as meals are prepared and served, you don't get a choice or a menu, having said that, the food was amazing.|The staff are friendly and very good at their jobs.|We hope to return .
