"This 3-star hotel is located on the Herengracht Canal in central Amsterdam. The renovated 17th-century building offer free Wi-Fi, with Central Station and the Anne Frank house just a 10-minute walk away. The modern rooms at The Times Hotel feature murals of classical Dutch paintings, and each room has a flat-screen TV. Toiletries are provided. A continental breakfast is served in the bright breakfast room, and restaurants can be found within a 5-minute walk of the hotel. Westermarkt and Dam tram stops are 500-yards from the hotel. The Hotel does have a 24-hour reception, but do not have bikes to rent, we can reccomend a company nearby." - My Boutique Hotel (en)

The Times Hotel was a wonderful place to stay. It felt like home away from home and had a cute vibe. The canal views were great! The loft room had enough room for 3 people to stay comfortably and could easily accommodate 4. All of the amenities were there. The staff is so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Location was central. I would definitely stay here next time I’m in Amsterdam! Highly recommend!

This is a great hotel to stay in if you are in Amsterdam. It’s near good places to eat and close to everything. It’s a quieter area which we liked but it’s right on a canal. Walking the area was very enjoyable. Amsterdam is a beautiful place and New Times Hotel is a great place to stay. We stayed in a cozy canal room and when they say cozy, they mean it. The room was very small but the bed was comfortable and the shower was great! The staff is very helpful and friendly. We loved it.

The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of many museums, boutique shopping, cafes and the old town. I can walk around everywhere. My room overlooks the canal and has a lovely view and sound in the morning. The breakfast is basic but nice(included in room bill). Like the size of my room and the temperature the room is nice. I can always open the windows to let cool air in. All in all if you are looking for a boutique hotel with in a great location, this is the one.

Room was fine, liked the Loft but the downstairs room was a bit closed in. Was not told about the breakfast option until the next morning. Should have been told when we checked in. Most of the receptionist were helpful, but not all as good. Did expect more of a hotel lobby than there was, was a bit surprised at how small it was.

I stayed in Amsterdam for over a week and the hotel suited my needs for a business trip. The location is very central. People working there were all kind and it was nice to chat with some of them. As a downside, the room was quite small and lacked storage space for clothes.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful and perfectly located right in the city center, yet the area was surprisingly quiet – only one morning we heard some noise, but that was with the window open. We stayed in a Deluxe Room with a canal view – it was cozy and very comfortable. One big plus was that our room was ready much earlier than the official check-in time, which was very appreciated after the journey. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was pleasant. Only about 30 minutes to the airport, which was super convenient. Highly recommended – 10 out of 10!

This place is amazing. The atmosphere of the street is friendly. Lots of small places to eat and cute shops in easy walking distance. There's free WiFi, which is a must. The air conditioning is very powerful. VERY tall ceilings in the rooms. The room my mom stayed in on the top floor has the ceiling coming down much lower where the head of the bed is set up. She moved her pillows to the other end so she wouldn't forget and bump her head in the morning. The bathrooms are a good size. The girl working the desk was for friendly and knowledgeable. Just be aware that the elevator only goes up to floor 4, so if you have a room on the 5th floor you have to be able to walk up the last flight of stairs. And be very careful of the short stairs in the hallways where you might not expect them. Look down the first couple trips to your room to make sure you don't trip.
