Prince William and Kate Middleton Are Reportedly Celebrating Their Anniversary in Tobermorey, Scotland

"A waterfront hotel offering direct access to the colorful harbor and coastal scenery, making it an easy base for exploring miles of bike paths, historic sites, and abundant wildlife such as eagles, red deer, puffins and the seals, otters and dolphins often seen off the coast. Mentioned as a prominent lodging option on the island alongside B&Bs and campsites, it suits visitors who want proximity to the fishing port and seaside walks." - Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca is an award-winning journalist and co-founder of Be a Travel Writer, an online course for the next generation of travel journalists. We just popped in for lunch on a day trip from Oban. The welcome was amazing and we settled in to a lovely meal with a window seat looking at the harbour. Compliments to front of house - the young lads was bright and cheerful and made us feel right at home. Compliments also to the chef - we’d already partaken of the bakery’s fare and weren’t too hungry. A shared fish and chips seemed to be the go. Arrived on seperate plates - good portions of both fish and chips accompanied be a delightful home made tartare sauce and some mushy peas. Probably the best fish and chips we’ve had and the consideration shown in the serving was exemplary. Strongly recommend!

Great value, amazing food, and a fantastic location too. Credit to the (genuinely) friendly staff for creating such a warm welcoming atmosphere. Very clean, very tidy room, although a little on the small side but that’s perfectly understandable given the age of the building! Regardless of size, we had a peaceful, quiet nights sleep. Plus the complimentary gift package on arrival was a lovely touch. Thoroughly enjoyable experience - thank you Tobermory Gang!

Tobermory Hotel is a great, cozy and pleasant hotel with wonderful staff and service! Located across the street from Tobermory’s picturesque waterfront and ideally located for access to this charming town. The Tobermory Restaurant is excellent and I had the most plump and delicious Langoustines last night for dinner! And a great salad with green olives! The wine choices were good as well and prices were fair. The staff is excellent and always ready to help in any way that they can! They were all good but I would like to specifically mention Sophi, Vaughan, Amy, Will and Heather! It’s a wonderful team of staff! A night or two at the Tobermory Hotel with delicious dinners and breakfast, are a relaxing treat, not to be missed!

To our surprise we received an upgrade and got a room with a beautiful view. It was very cozy and there was coffee, tea and hot chocolate to choose from. Exactly what you need after a long rainy day. The fact that there was carpet all over the floor felt a bit strange from our German point of view, as it seems a bit non hygienic. The staff were very warm and welcoming, the food in the restaurant was very good. Unfortunately I saw too late they offered a cheese plate, so now I have to come again and try it :)

Wonderful staff team responded promptly to messages regarding booking, very friendly, helpful and polite. (Molly, Sophie, Amy) Stunning location looking onto the harbour. Room was bright and clean, with a comfortable bed. Well stocked with provisions tea/coffee/biscuits and a lovely hamper gift set with local produce. Great attention to detail. The meals were delicious and well prepared. (Chef Petru)

Mia managed to squeeze us in without a reservation last night and we had a brilliant dinner. The seafood boil was outstanding, and the cozy fire made it even better. Highly recommend this spot for anyone dining in Tobermory!

Drove up to Tobermory for breakfast |The small bakery and cafe had no seating available so we walked along until passing the Tobermory hotel I noticed people eating breakfast. |My mate said it would only be for guests but I thought nothing ventured nothing gained so I walked in and they were very happy to have us thete.|Quickly seated we ordered full Scottish breakfast. It was delicious unfortunately my greed precludes taking a photo.|Very remiss of me|My only grouse was no toast included but help yourself to as much coffee as you required which to me was great|Lovely young lady who looked after us and a credit to the hotel
