Prince William and Kate Middleton Are Reportedly Celebrating Their Anniversary in Tobermorey, Scotland

"A waterfront hotel offering direct access to the colorful harbor and coastal scenery, making it an easy base for exploring miles of bike paths, historic sites, and abundant wildlife such as eagles, red deer, puffins and the seals, otters and dolphins often seen off the coast. Mentioned as a prominent lodging option on the island alongside B&Bs and campsites, it suits visitors who want proximity to the fishing port and seaside walks." - Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca is an award-winning journalist and co-founder of Be a Travel Writer, an online course for the next generation of travel journalists. What a beautiful meal served perfectly by the dynamic duo that is Amy and Will! The food was delicious and the service was above and beyond, we absolutely loved our visit. The switched me from my absolute favourite cocktail to a similar one of their very own design. This restaurant is absolutely flawless in every way, can’t recommend enough, thank you all so much!

We stayed at the hotel during our two night stay on Tobermory. The hotel was in a great location and we had a room overlooking the sea. The room was comfortable and well appointed and had everything we needed. We ate in the hotel on the first night and the food was very good (although Langoustine are more faff than they are worth in my opinion!). OH had fish and think that was the better choice. Breakfast was served buffet style with the hot option being cooked to order. Fruit, yoghurt etc also available. Hotel staff welcoming and friendly.||Couple of points - different choice of bread would be nice - white sliced not to everyone's taste but a small point and acknowledge that deliveries to the Island can limit choice.||Overall - great stay, lovely hotel and would recommend.

I was a bit concerned after reading some less than enthusiastic reviews of this hotel with pub. I stayed there last night and couldn't disagree more. The strongest criticism I have is that there was no washcloth. Otherwise, a quite smart and well-appointed room as large as the Marriotts in Edinburgh and Glasgow, modern bathroom, and a glorious pub/restaurant with delicious hot food, enthusiastic service, and low-volume music that accommodated pleasant conversation. Will, the manager, was clever and welcoming. Quite an enjoyable and restful overnight. Highly recommended.

Cute hotel, not clean. We stayed for one night and, while the hotel is cute and somewhat updated with a nice pub and kind staff, it is unfortunately not kept clean enough. Our room clearly hasn’t been vacuumed and the decorative pillows and shams were literally shedding dirt and lint on to the bedding. Would not stay again unfortunately, thought the location is great and people very nice.

Although the room was slightly on the small side - it was fine for a one night stay. The hospitality tray was very well stocked and the other freebies were appreciated.|Good quality towels and good size towels were provided.|We thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal which included a very tasty Scottish cheeseboard and enjoyed our Eggs Royale for breakfast. Our dog was able to be with us at mealtimes albeit it in the bar. The bar was just as nice a space as the restaurant.|All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

Picture perfect location in one of the colourful properties right on the famous harbour in Tobermory. Easy street parking right outside. Friendly helpful staff on our 3 night stay. We had a room overlooking the harbour. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast was also good, but slightly chaotic in some ways - ok when it works but if you get new or less savvy staff it can struggle. Our room and separate bathroom had combed ceilings with restricted headroom - ok, but not if you are big or tall or both. For the room rate (expensive) I would expect a better quality bed and better cleaning standards. Overall though we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for one night with my husband, 5 year old and 1 year old. Lovely clean hotel, nice room with fab amenities. Lovely touch with a free hamper of local items. Reception were very helpful and housekeeping were friendly. Will definitely stay again.

This is a difficult place to review. The location is right by the harbour. The food is wonderful. The rooms on the top floor are in the eaves so some stooping is required on one side of the room. My bathroom was on the opposite side of the corridor and the shower was quite cramped. I think if you're over 6ft then room 15 is not for you. It's a quiet location too and convenient for all the shops and the bus stop.
