Prince William and Kate Middleton Are Reportedly Celebrating Their Anniversary in Tobermorey, Scotland

"A waterfront hotel offering direct access to the colorful harbor and coastal scenery, making it an easy base for exploring miles of bike paths, historic sites, and abundant wildlife such as eagles, red deer, puffins and the seals, otters and dolphins often seen off the coast. Mentioned as a prominent lodging option on the island alongside B&Bs and campsites, it suits visitors who want proximity to the fishing port and seaside walks." - Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca Stacey Leasca is an award-winning journalist and co-founder of Be a Travel Writer, an online course for the next generation of travel journalists. Tobermory Hotel is a great, cozy and pleasant hotel with wonderful staff and service! Located across the street from Tobermory’s picturesque waterfront and ideally located for access to this charming town. The Tobermory Restaurant is excellent and I had the most plump and delicious Langoustines last night for dinner! And a great salad with green olives! The wine choices were good as well and prices were fair. The staff is excellent and always ready to help in any way that they can! They were all good but I would like to specifically mention Sophi, Vaughan, Amy, Will and Heather! It’s a wonderful team of staff! A night or two at the Tobermory Hotel with delicious dinners and breakfast, are a relaxing treat, not to be missed!

Wonderful staff team responded promptly to messages regarding booking, very friendly, helpful and polite. (Molly, Sophie, Amy) Stunning location looking onto the harbour. Room was bright and clean, with a comfortable bed. Well stocked with provisions tea/coffee/biscuits and a lovely hamper gift set with local produce. Great attention to detail. The meals were delicious and well prepared. (Chef Petru)

Great value, amazing food, and a fantastic location too. Credit to the (genuinely) friendly staff for creating such a warm welcoming atmosphere. Very clean, very tidy room, although a little on the small side but that’s perfectly understandable given the age of the building! Regardless of size, we had a peaceful, quiet nights sleep. Plus the complimentary gift package on arrival was a lovely touch. Thoroughly enjoyable experience - thank you Tobermory Gang!

Great location and friendly, helpful staff. The restaurant is great, and breakfasts were fantastic. The room could have been more spacious and mattress a little better, but overall very comfortable, clean and well designed.

Drove up to Tobermory for breakfast |The small bakery and cafe had no seating available so we walked along until passing the Tobermory hotel I noticed people eating breakfast. |My mate said it would only be for guests but I thought nothing ventured nothing gained so I walked in and they were very happy to have us thete.|Quickly seated we ordered full Scottish breakfast. It was delicious unfortunately my greed precludes taking a photo.|Very remiss of me|My only grouse was no toast included but help yourself to as much coffee as you required which to me was great|Lovely young lady who looked after us and a credit to the hotel

I did not feel like a guest, more of a long lost friend, from the welcome at the reception and the rest of the staff, lovely feeling of welcome. The view was fantastic, the room was all we expected, clean and comfortable. Food, from the breakfast to dinner it was excellent.

The Tobermory Hotel saved my sanity on THE wettest day ever after Storm Amy . Couldn't find anywhere serving food except The Tobermory Bakery which was full and I will def write a positive review on it . So went in and was met by the owner and his very cheery waitress . And yes they were serving food albeit a limited menu and what a great seafood chowder . My husband had roast veg soup .The day turned from miserable to cheery. Thank you

When things go wrong the important thing is what we do about it. We were given Room 1 which was fine except the ensuite bathroom smelled of open drains. The hotel staff explained that this often happened during periods of heavy rain. I said a room with a horrible smell was unacceptable and they very kindly gave us Room 16 which was very nice indeed. The bar and restaurant are very good. You will be asked to book a time for breakfast so if you have a specific timetable I suggest you contact the hotel in advance of your stay. Although if you are really desperate for a specific time which they can't provide they will give you a voucher for breakfast elsewhere.
