I really enjoyed my visit to The Top Penang. I went to Window of The Top, Tappogan, Jungle Gym, and GP Meta Kart. All were fun and worth trying. The view from the top was absolutely beautiful, especially from the glass bridge. Tappogan was exciting, and the Jungle Gym is perfect for kids. GP Meta Kart was my kids’ favorite. The go-karts were fast, the track was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s a fun place for families. There’s a good mix of things to do for all ages. Highly recommended if you’re in Penang!

Summary: Our visit to The TOP Penang was a well-rounded experience, combining thrilling views from the skywalk with enjoyable and educational attractions on the lower levels. The Klook "5 in 1" ticket was a convenient way to access multiple areas. Observations: The main draw of the visit was the unique opportunity to walk on the curved glass walkway. It provided a remarkable perspective looking down into the streets of George Town, offering an exciting and memorable photo opportunity. Environment: The variety of attractions was impressive. The Dinosaur Research Center was a particular highlight, featuring a significant number of robotic dinosaurs that were both engaging and realistic. The aquarium was also a notable and enjoyable part of the visit, complementing the other attractions. Conclusion: The TOP Penang provides a solid entertainment experience, particularly for families. The combination of the observatory deck's impressive views and the hands-on fun of the dinosaur and aquarium exhibits makes it a worthwhile destination.

The TOP Penang is a must-visit if you’re in George Town! I visited in the evening and absolutely loved the experience. The highlight for me was the Sky Bridge – walking high above the city with glass panels under your feet gives a thrilling, adventurous feeling. There’s also a glass bridge and an open area where tables were set up, making it a nice spot to relax. From here, you can see almost half of Penang — the city skyline, the beautiful coastline, the Penang Bridge connecting to the mainland, and the serene hillside near George Town. I stayed to watch the sunset, which was magical, and then enjoyed the glittering night view of the entire city. It’s the perfect place to spend an evening — take in the views, enjoy some food, and soak in the unique atmosphere. Highly recommended for both the thrill of the Sky Bridge and the unforgettable panoramic views.

Very good experience. Went on a Monday afternoon in November and hardly any visitors. Bought the ‘5 in 1’ ticket which included the skywalk, observation deck with walk, Jurassic park attraction and aquarium. Very good value for money all round and could easily spend a day here

The observatory deck at The Top Penang (Rainbow Skywalk & Observatory Deck, Level 68) is hands-down one of the best spots in Penang for stunning sunset and night cityscape photos. I visited in the late afternoon and stayed till after dark — the transition from golden hour to twinkling city lights is absolutely magical. The 360° panoramic view gives you George Town, the mainland, and the sea all in one frame. No obstructions, perfect for wide-angle shots or timelapses.

The Top Komtar isn’t just an observation deck; it’s a revitalized, multi-story entertainment complex located in George Town’s tallest skyscraper. The undisputed highlight is the Rainbow Skywalk on the 68th floor. This U-shaped, open-air glass bridge is suspended 816 feet above the city, offering a truly heart-pounding experience as you literally walk on air with a panoramic 360-degree view of Penang Island below. The views are breathtaking, especially around sunset when the cityscape lights begin to twinkle. For those less inclined toward extreme heights, the air-conditioned Observatory Deck on Level 65 provides stunning vistas through large windows. The complex is remarkably family-friendly, housing attractions like the engaging Jurassic Research Center, complete with animatronic dinosaurs, and the interactive Tech Dome Penang science museum. While some of the exhibits can feel a little low-key, the combo passes offer excellent value for a full day of "edutainment." Tip: Visit in the late afternoon. You'll avoid the midday heat, conquer the thrill of the Skywalk, and be perfectly positioned to enjoy the incredible transition from golden hour to night lights from the highest point in the city. The Top successfully transforms this iconic landmark into a must-visit destination.

Super fun place for families! We got the The Top Family Super Saver ticket ,it covers 12 attractions so you can literally spend the whole day here without getting bored. Totally worth it for the price. My kid had a great time (and honestly, we adults enjoyed it just as much 😂). Will definitely recommend to anyone visiting Penang with family!

We visited The Top Penang during our trip to George Town, and it turned out to be a fun and memorable experience for all ages. Located inside the Komtar Tower—the tallest building in Penang—it’s a modern attraction packed with different activities, restaurants, and observation decks that showcase Penang from above. The main highlight is, of course, the Rainbow Skywalk on the 68th floor. Walking on the glass bridge with the city skyline beneath your feet is both thrilling and unforgettable. The views are simply breathtaking—you can see George Town, Penang Bridge, and even parts of the mainland on a clear day. Sunset and nighttime visits are especially magical, with the city lights creating a beautiful panorama. For those who prefer something less daring, the indoor Observatory Deck on the 65th floor still offers fantastic views in a more relaxed setting. Besides the observation decks, The Top has a wide variety of attractions. Families with kids will enjoy places like the Jurassic Research Center, Tech Dome, and 7D Discovery Motion Theater. There are also fun photo spots and interactive exhibits that keep the experience engaging. For couples or groups of friends, the rooftop bar and dining options provide a great place to relax with a view. The facility is clean, modern, and well-maintained, though it’s good to note that ticket prices can feel a bit on the higher side, especially if you want to access multiple attractions. However, the overall experience justifies the cost if you plan to spend a few hours exploring everything. Getting there is convenient since Komtar is centrally located in George Town, with plenty of public transport and parking nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the visit smooth. A few tips: try to time your visit around late afternoon so you can enjoy both daytime and nighttime views. Also, wear comfortable shoes since there’s some walking between different floors and attractions. Overall, The Top is a must-visit if you’re in Penang. Whether you’re here for the Skywalk thrill, the panoramic views, or the family-friendly attractions, it offers something for everyone. It’s the best spot to see Penang from above and capture unforgettable memories.
