Rhode Island Named the Most 'Chaotic' State for Driving

It's a great spot for a photo! I've been there before. There's great opportunities here. It's a beautiful site around here. There's decent parking around. The ocean view here is pretty nice! I went during the summer. Some would even call this place magical. It deserves so much praise for what it is. A Narragansett must!

Has 3 floors (reception room, kitchen and dinning area with bathrooms, and the hall which spans above the roadway). Scenic view of the ocean from the hall is nice along with the ocean breeze. There is a large patio with a fountain and a few benches which part of the public walkway. The staff was prompt and professional. The inside is old photos commemorating the property, stone walls, and wood floors in the hall. There is a lady's room for preparations off of the dining room on the 2nd floor, and this floor does not have exposed stone but white painted walls. The property has a lot of historic charm and can accommodate many guests (~80).

I was happy to be here (totally by accident) when there was a tour going on. There was so much history of the area to learn about and I was glad to listen. Architecture is stunning and the location is spectacular.

Outstanding attraction that cannot fail to catch the eye. Well worth parking the car on the road around the memorial park and taking a walk through the towers. Full of interesting facts and history of it's origin it is a wonder to behold. Let it remain forever.

My dream wedding come true! What a unique, picturesque, magical venue this was. The views from upstairs in the towers are outstanding. Cocktail hour in the courtyard was also great - we were worried about being close to the road with cars and people going by but to be honest we were so involved with our food, music, and guests that we didn't even notice it! There was also a summer concert going on in the green across the road but it didn't interfere at all, besides making parking for our valet a bit trickier. A couple things to note about the Towers - 1. It is kind of a DIY venue - you rent the venue itself for the night along with tables and chairs, and that's about it. Everything else you must outsource - catering, decor, coordinator, etc. The Towers does have some staff helping out with clean up at night. Donna was very helpful and organized in planning and knows every vendor in the area. All of our local vendors were familiar with the Towers too so planning and coordinating really wasn't bad. 2. There is no AC. We lucked out with a cool, not too humid summer night, so with the windows open and ceiling fans going we were just fine. 3. There is no private parking. We hired a valet service (highly recommend), told guests staying at Aqua Blue hotel to park there and walk over, otherwise guests have to try to find street parking which can be difficult on a summer evening. 4. The space may look tight, but it fit our 100 person wedding with bar, DJ, photo booth, champagne wall, and coffee/dessert vendors just fine! The dance floor is a great size, and the outside deck really extends the venue as well. If you really want to WOW your guests - book the Towers for your wedding, there really is no place like it!!! Thank you to Donna & everyone at the Towers for a perfect wedding reception!

I have visited this area a few times now and besides the always enjoyable ocean and beaches and rocky shores, this place is memorable. I love the thick heavy stone form of it, the great archway, and even the way the wooden shingles upon the turrets vary in color and catch the light.

Yelp
The Towers is an event space in Narragansett with beautiful views of Narragansett Beach and ocean. The space is beautiful and there is a small outside space. No A/C so you have to rely on the ocean breeze which sometimes is non existent.

Yelp
I would say this is the ideal place for a wedding event. The view, the nuance of the room and the style is beautiful. You rent the room and hire your own caterer. The area is spectacular and ideal for a celebratory theme. My only complaint - the entrance was sort of awkward - the strange and disjointed layout didn't match the actual room.

Yelp
We came here last Sunday for a tour of The Towers. It was a free event and was a beautiful day, we almost decided not to come. We definitely where happy we went, learned some history about the towers and a little bit more. Got to go on the third floor and check out the deck. The storm from the other day and the waves crashing in where amazing.

Yelp
Place is a joke arrived to drink can't be seated due to not having a meal I believe many where their drinking only! Went inside to get a drink though another entrance to be store at by the bartender watching him serve everyone but my group Guess we where not rich enough or hip enough to be served place is a joke! Make sure u have a fist full of money before you walk in this place or they will profile you!

Yelp
This was the venue for my sons wedding and it's a clumsy setup since it's long and narrow. Nothing special on the inside. I've seen much prettier venues.

Yelp
Constructed 1883 - 1886, The Towers was once a part of the Narragansett Pier Casino a large resort that attracted many visitors in the late 1800's to the early 1900's. Although the Casino building was destroyed The Towers survived more than a century of hurricanes, fires and Northeasters. the Towers were restored "recently" and now are the sight of dance lessons, concerts, parties, fundraisers, weddings , commencements and other gala celebrations. It seats 200, has a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean as well as the mouth of the Narragansett Bay, The Pier Beach, Jamestown and Newport shores. I have personally attended a church tea party here, a family wedding as well as a Christmas celebration in the past. The ocean breeze can be experienced on the balcony that overlooks the Coast Guard House as well as the ocean. You can view The Wall that parades down Ocean Road past what once was the grounds of many of the great hotels of "The Gay Nineties". The view is magnificent. Salt water aficionados can do no better than to come to this beautiful property when planning a special event. If you do plan on coming here to plan any kind of event know that my niece reserved this building a year in advance to have her reception here as well as my sister-in-law. The Towers website has many events that are planned around as well as in The Towers. Today I took a tour of Narragansett on Ted Wright's Trolley! Ted Wright himself drove the trolley! A person of history driving a piece of history showing us Narragansett history! Unparalleled! The events range in price from free to expensive. I missed Len Cabral's excellent storytelling FOR FREE this past Monday! There is a bit of history in pictures and a small shop downstairs in one leg of The Towers. The other legs is occupied by Narragansett's Chamber of Commerce. Visit their website first then call for details. A wonderful woman named Vivian answers and is the only person dealing with The Tower's events planning so be patient. She has an email address also if you need to be detailed with questions.

Yelp
We were here in October for a friend's wedding reception. Now I know not all of the credit can go to just the venue (waitstaff, etc) but I think this was the most wonderful wedding I had ever been to. The venue itself was just gorgeous both in the day and at night. The couples pictures by the ocean right outside the towers came out breath taking. Before the reception we had a cocktail hour outside on the outside patio. There was lots of space to mingle and also to check out the scenery. Inside was amazing. The ambiance of that place was incredible. The bride and groom had 75 people and it was just big enough. I don't think you could have much bigger of a wedding there without it being too cramped. Large enough dance floor and windows everywhere to see outside to the ocean. Off of the dance floor was a balcony over looking the ocean. I am having a wedding in the near future and did go online after to check out their rates. They seemed very very reasonable. I consider this to be a dream wedding location. I would highly recommend it.
