I don't know if this applies to the Mill or the space around it - my review is of the general space, which is pedestrianised and rather lovely. The microbrewery serves a great range of beers, and has a barman with his own cockatoo for added amusement (be sure to ask before touching it). The Strawberry Tree offers amazing tapas, we had a wonderful evening meal with 11 people there and it was excellent (I have reviewed it seperately). There are also studios there offering pottery classes, sewing classes, pilates, and even cookery classes. The courtyard is lit by festive lights, and has a range of outdoor seating available. There are also some toilets available next to the tapas restaurant.

Such a lovely place!! We pop by every time we are in Lyme. This year, we had extended family with us. While we were busy nosing around, Steve offered a tour and the kids loved it! Totally hands on, super educational. No queues, free entry, fresh flour to purchase, love folks running the place, I hope this charming place remains open for the younger generations to enjoy.

The mill was open when we popped into Lyme Regis! I enjoyed looking around and the chap was very knowledgeable. Free to visit but I bought a bag of flour as a thank you. Great to know I'll be baking with no added items!

Very interesting talk and demo from volunteer Rob. Entry with donations only and a lovely shop where you can buy flour milled on site.

Wonderful example of living history, and free to visit. This watermill was closed in 1926 and lovingly brought back to life 75 years later by a group of local volunteers, who continue to run it. Saw the water wheel and the milling process in action and had a fascinating talk with one of the volunteer millars who explained all about how the mill works. Really brought my GCSE history (from 30+ years ago!) to life! Lovely shop too.

Had a lovely tour from a wonderful volunteer who told us all about the local history of the mill! Highly recommend, we bought some flour to make our own bread. All workers here were friendly and accommodating.
