A sensational Blossom in Cape Town! Staying at The Trevoyan Guesthouse was simply exceptional. From the moment we arrived after an nightflight from Germany, we felt completely at home. The Guesthouse rooms are exquisitely designed — every corner, every detail, every texture, colors, and fabrics reflects a deep sense of taste and love for hospitality. The house and its garden are stunning, blending elegant charm with relaxed Cape Town flair. Breakfast was a highlight every morning — fresh, delicious, and nicely presented, and served with genuine warmth. But what truly makes this place so special is Charles and his wonderful team. They are the heart and soul of Trevoyan — caring, thoughtful, always one step ahead, yet never intrusive. Charles seems to read every wish before you even voice it. His advice on day trips, scenic routes, and local restaurants was spot on every single time. And of course, there’s Peanut, the adorable dog who adds the final touch of charm to this extraordinary place. If you’re looking for a stay that combines elegance, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality, go there!! — Trevoyan is a true jewel of Cape Town.

Again, a truly wonderful experience at Trevoyan. It feels very much like home away from home, beautiful decor, a warm and inviting atmosphere, extremely attentive staff from the manager/ owner to everyone else in the staff team.|There is a very South African feel to Trevoyan and this is reflected in the personal care and touch that we received as guests. |Breakfast is yummy and the living room with honesty bar a true delight. |Swimming in and lounging by the pool with a view up to Table Mountain… what a treat. |Trevoyan’s location in Tamboerskloof also made it easy for us to grab an Uber to wherever we wanted to go. Here again, Charlie who manages Trevoyan went out of his way to help with all needs and arrangements. Bookings and other arrangements through Dominique, Trevoyan’s owner, was also simple and always hit the spot. ||We have been at Trevoyan several times and it never disappoints. A gem in the heart of the city. Calm, peaceful and yet a stone’s throw from everything Cape Town has to offer. |What more can we say. We’ll be back.

We began our travels in Cape Town at The Trevoyan, and it was the perfect place to start — a beautiful, calm haven in the city. From the moment we arrived, Charles gave us the warmest welcome and we instantly felt at home.||The rooms are spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated, and the staff are genuinely warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. They consistently went above and beyond — from excellent restaurant recommendations (trust Charles, his taste is spot on!) to arranging early breakfasts when we had to head out. ||We left with such fond memories and can’t wait to return — especially to see Peanut!

Lovely neighborhood stay. Our adult family stayed at Trevoyan for three nights. Charles was very welcoming upon our arrival. The laidback and comfortable vibe of our stay was just what we needed as we wrapped up our holiday. Charles had many suggestions for must see and dining options. We appreciated his love for Cape Town and wanting us to experience and enjoy the special town as well. The property is well loved, cared for and a beautiful oasis. The staff we interacted with were most helpful as well. The breakfast was fresh, delicious and plentiful. We took advantage of the complimentary fruit, sweet bread, and coffee/tea after our days adventures, and evening treat.

Perfect stay for our first visit to Cape Town, Charles and team were so welcoming and provided daily recommendations. The guesthouse is in a quiet area, a little hidden gem and the pool area was quiet and nice area to relax after exploring the city. The area is walkable to many bars and restaurants, or plenty of Ubers available which we used in the evenings. Breakfast was delicious every morning and there is a honesty bar for drinks in the evenings.

WOW is the word for this guesthouse! It was amazing from start to finish, we were made to feel so welcome by Charles and his staff! We are missing our morning chats and making plans for our day with Charles and Peanut! Charles"s recommations for where to go and visit was spot on! The room was amazing! Just sitting by the plunge pool in the evening was lovely! We will definatly be back! Sending all our love to Charles, Peanut and crew! Xxxxx

This was our 5th visit to Cape Town, and our first staying away from the V&A - so we were a little unsure what to expect. We needn’t have worried - Charles and his wonderful|Team provided one of the best experiences of our two weeks in South Africa. ||We were travelling with friends on their first trip to SA and the fabulous room, breakfasts, service and recommendations from Charles all made our experience a fantastic one.|Our Mountain View suite was perfect.||The property is beautiful and it’s so easy to get around the city with an Uber or hire their Fiat 500 (which looks a lot of fun). Dinner recommendations were spot on - from Thalli to the Millers Thumb.||We will definitely be back!|Thank you again to everyone for a fabulous start to our holiday.
