A Stunning Oasis That Defies the PV Norm Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been waiting for a hotel like this in Puerto Vallarta. From the moment you step onto the property, you completely forget the hustle and bustle outside. It feels like an entirely different world. The Highlights • Outstanding Service: The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. • Exceptional Drinks: The mixology is on point—easily some of the best cocktails in the area. • Atmosphere: The ambiance is phenomenal. You can tell a lot of thought went into the attention to detail, especially with the decor and the sophisticated color palettes. Room for Improvement The only minor downsides were some visible stains on the chairs by the bar and the top pool area feeling a bit crowded with furniture. A little more breathing room and a deep clean on the upholstery would make this place perfect. Also, the sound system is amazing but music that was playing made us leaving the bar area. Final Verdict Overall, this is a great hotel. I will definitely be coming back!

Staying at Tryst this past weekend for the second time was an unforgettable experience.The drinks and food were delicious and the cheeky LGBTQ friendly atmosphere made for a great vacation. The team went above and beyond when security threats were taking place outside and I am so grateful for the safe haven of resources I had during those scary moments. Security was immediately heightened out front and they began rationing food not knowing how long we would be without deliveries. The front desk team handled so many unknowns with such grace and continued to deliver when I needed extensions on the room. I don’t see myself ever staying anywhere else and I will definitely be back. Thank you to the entire team!!!

This is a review of the Tryst lobby restaurant. Did not stay at the hotel. First, despite its name, I discovered the Tryst is not a bath house! It’s a high concept, sleek and beautiful boutique hotel - its common spaces are relaxed and beautiful. Staff are super friendly and welcoming. A large group went for dinner Xmas Eve and everyone’s meal was exceptional. Drinks were very well made. We have visited PVR most years going back 15 years. The Tryst is a great addition! We plan to add it into our morning breakfast spot list too. Clearly a lot of money and design thought went into creating the property. I hope the word gets out. … and we stopped in for breakfast before the beach - great service, very good food and broad menu. Another great experience!

Excellent location easily walkable to anywhere in the city. Rooms are very nice as are the bathrooms. Excellent service by the entire staff. Two awesome pools, 2nd floor pool for hotel guest only, the rooftop pool is open to the public. Incredible views of the beach, ocean and the whales on the afternoons.

My husband and I have stayed with you from the USA for the holiday week and it has been a joy. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Kind, hard working, charming, and fun.||The ONLY thing we would say is that the room is a little small, but that’s hardly a big issue. It’s comfortable, cool, and well designed. The music through the building at the social spots could be a bit loud, but that’s a simply thing that could be adjusted if asked. Again, no biggie. ||The hotel, from top to bottom is chic and well thought out. Clearly with the guest experience as the forefront of the design.||We hosted a group of 10 for your Sunday drag brunch and was able to discuss, with Ronald (I believe that was his name, he told me after a few mimosas), the floor manager, to have Enrique take care of our guests for the brunch. Everything was perfect. We were well looked after, even as he helped his other tables in his section. He was welcoming, and fun, and our friends loved him.||All in all, this had been a great stay, and we thank you for all your hard work.

I have stayed at the hotel in Puerto Vallarta, I believe four times now each time you know things happen and things have to change, but they’ve all been really nice changes to the space the staff it’s impeccably clean room service is awesome. It is a lively atmosphere can be a bit loud on a Sunday with the drag show and the pool party, but it is really fun atmosphere I’m a person that I’d like to thank them for just making me feel as a single person that I was welcome and it was really nice and I’m no spring chicken at 59.

New offering in PV and definitely the most modern. The two pool options was nice, the rooftop one was always more fun while the second floor pool was very chill. I would go to their sunday brunch every weekend if I could. Splurge for the oceanview rooms! ||||Definitely the chicest gay hotel in PV. Very dog-friendly.

I was traveling by myself to PV for the weekend and it’s was such an amazing experience staying at Tryst! The rooms are insane, the most comfortable bed to rest. The food at the restaurant was delicious! Pretty much i enjoy all the amenities of the hotel during my stay. I can’t wait to be back to Tryst.
