The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort

Can’t recommend this resort enough! We stayed here for 5 nights and it was truly magical. The resort has everything you could wish for in a perfect vacation: a quiet atmosphere, an amazing private beach, delicious Thai food in a chef-level restaurant, clean and spacious rooms, and a great pool. And the cherry on top — the absolutely dreamy staff. They take care of you 24/7 with genuine warmth, and even arranged a temporary room for us before our late flight. The breakfast is fantastic, and the complimentary activities like yoga, kayaking, and more were a great bonus. The area is a bit isolated from the city, but since the resort has everything you need, it was perfect for us. Do yourself a favor and stay at this hotel!

Beautiful resort with very friendly and accommodating staff. The breakfast was very good. I was concerned originally about the distance into the main commercial area, Ao Nang, but after spending a little time there and seeing all the traffic and hordes of people, I was so glad to be where we were! We dining at the Thai restaurant 2 of the nights we were there and the food was good, but not exceptional. A common issue I have found in most Asian hotels is that the rooms do not provide good storage to put your clothes away and have limited bathroom vanity space but maybe we just bring too much stuff!

We had our wedding here, and it was truly perfect. Everything — from the immaculate cleanliness to the stunning rooms — exceeded every expectation we had. The staff and the entire team are simply the best: professional, friendly, caring and incredibly respectful. We felt supported, pampered and genuinely looked after in every single moment. Their attention, kindness and dedication made everything flow effortlessly, and the result was beyond anything we could have imagined. It was like a fairytale from beginning to end. We wholeheartedly recommend this resort to anyone looking for perfection, exceptional quality and a team that truly cares. We will gladly return!

Our stay at The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort, in the Ocean View Pool Villa, was an exceptional and beautifully curated experience. The resort is set amidst flawlessly maintained, lush tropical grounds that blend seamlessly with the surrounding natural landscape. From nearly every vantage point, there are magnificent, uninterrupted views of the Andaman Sea, with sunsets that are both dramatic and serene, creating a truly unforgettable setting. Service at The Tubkaak is delivered with genuine care and quiet excellence. The staff are attentive, supportive, and consistently gracious, ensuring every interaction feels personal and effortless. A special mention must go to Rin, who welcomed us warmly, helped us settle in, and provided a detailed and informative tour of the resort. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail set a high standard from the very beginning. Breakfast was included in our stay and was excellent. The buffet was well presented, varied, and high quality, with a strong selection that complemented the relaxed morning setting and ocean views. The L’escape Spa is a standout experience in its own right. The journey begins with the striking visual of the spa’s unique cocoon-shaped treatment rooms, immediately conveying a sense of tranquillity and design excellence. Our oil massage, performed by Yam and Dao, was exceptional. It was deeply relaxing, expertly delivered, and thoughtfully tailored, leaving us completely rejuvenated. The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort offers a rare combination of immaculate grounds, breathtaking views, and sincere hospitality. It is a refined, nature-driven sanctuary that feels both luxurious and genuinely welcoming. An outstanding resort that leaves a lasting impression and one we would highly recommend.

This is our second time staying at this hotel, and it truly has everything you could possibly need! We stayed in a villa with a private pool and jacuzzi — both the hotel and the surroundings are absolutely spectacular. The staff are incredibly kind and always go out of their way to help you in the best possible way. The service is outstanding, probably the best we’ve ever experienced in any hotel, even with the language barrier. A special mention to their free Thai boxing classes — such a great idea to stay active and keep training even while on vacation! We can’t wait to come back again!

We paid approximately £1,400 for a three-night stay at The Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Resort and unfortunately had an extremely disappointing experience. On our first night, we ate at the hotel restaurant and both suffered from severe food poisoning. As a result, we spent the remainder of our stay confined to bed, unable to eat, enjoy the hotel facilities, or experience the resort at all. We understand that food poisoning can sometimes happen and is not always intentional or foreseeable, and initially approached the situation calmly and reasonably. However, the way this was handled by management was completely unacceptable. When we asked for the meal in question to be removed from our bill, we were first offered only a 20% discount on the food. When we explained that we did not feel it was appropriate to pay for a meal that made us seriously ill, the manager on duty became aggressive and threatened to call the police if we refused to pay. This was extremely distressing, especially given our condition at the time. We stated that we were happy for the police to be called if necessary, at which point the manager suddenly agreed that the meal could in fact be removed from the bill. This made the earlier threats feel entirely unnecessary and intimidatory. It’s worth noting that many of the hotel staff were genuinely kind and lovely, which makes this situation even more disappointing. Sadly, the behaviour of the manager and the apparent stance of the hotel owner showed a complete lack of accountability, empathy, and basic customer care. Attempting to charge guests for food that caused food poisoning — and then threatening them with police action — is simply unacceptable. For a resort of this price point and reputation, we expected far better handling of a serious issue. This experience has completely overshadowed what should have been a special stay, and we would not return.

Wonderful resort. In terms of layout of the grounds with the buildings, swimming pool, restaurant, bar, … probably one of the most beautiful we have ever stayed at. +: Exceptional breakfast. Friendly staff. Rooms are very clean. -: One minor remark is that we did not receive correct information about our transfer options to Khao Sok. We were only offered private transfer by the hotel, or a public bus. There are other (private) options available which are better priced (KrabiCab, Grab). We don’t expect the hotel to book this for us, but they should have shared that other private taxi services run directly between Tubkaak beach and Khao Sok as well.

Stayed here for our honeymoon. Worth every penny. Beautiful private beach with amazing views. Nice pool. Loved our room as well. And the staff were all very kind and helpful throughout our entire stay. Highly recommend.
