9 hidden bars in Singapore - SilverKris

"A bar-meets-social-space occupying the corner of a shophouse on Guillemard Road that carries a wide range of wines, whisky and beers; its standout offering is an in-house Tuckshop Edition lager styled with calamansi juice and gula melaka (palm sugar), giving a bright, local-citrus-and-sweet twist to a sessionable beer." - SilverKris

It's a hidden gem! Located in a nice and cosy corner. Food was delicious especially their beef & truffle mashed potatoes. They have friendly staff aka prefects at the tuckshop! Worth to give it a try!

Enjoyable dinner experience at the Tuckshop. The food servings were of nice portions and really tasty! Quite a different dining experience. My fav was the shrimp linguini in a claypot. Loved it!

Found a spot that checks all the boxes for a great night out. Lively yet cozy atmosphere that instantly sets the mood. Their craft beer selection is excellent — ice cold, freshly poured, and with enough variety to please both casual drinkers and craft beer enthusiasts. Am impressed with their food. The pizzas come out with perfectly crisp crusts and generous toppings that balance flavor without being overwhelming. The cheese were in huge chunks. The steak is cooked to perfection — juicy, tender, and seasoned just right, the kind that makes you want to savor every bite. And if you’re in the mood for something lighter, their finger food hits the spot: crunchy, tasty, and perfect for sharing over drinks. The truffle fries had real truffle on it! Service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and you can tell the staff take pride in making sure you enjoy yourself. Abit warm for inside sitting so recommend to ask for outdoor seats.

Pretty cool place to have drinks and food. Good seating areas like high chairs and indoor and outdoor seating. Parking could be an issues nearby. Food is pretty decent. Pizza is great. Great place for gatherings and chill out. There's also sports TV.

Draft beers cost $10-12++ a pint during Happy Hours (5-7pm). Food was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful, and provided drinking water. Nice vibe, especially if you like songs from boy bands (not for me though).

Nice place to sit down, chill and nurse your beverages. Food was pretty good. The crispy chicken wings were nicely crispy on the exterior and juicy on the inside. Service staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The music played was a perfect compliment to the settings. Nice, quiet, soulful music and a drink in hand coupled with great service. The reason we were here : to savour the last pints of Archipelago brews before they become history.

The go-to place when in neighborhood. The family and pet friendly bar for locals. Exemplary service from the staff, notably Chris, Chom and Meng. Chatty, attentive and friendly, they provide for a fun and casual experience. Highly recommended… not to be missed. Will be back again soon.

Overall the environment is nice, service is great and the beer is good just that the food is not my style. The pizza was dry, pepperoni was overly flavored and was not my favorite. The salad was amazing though, and the beers were nicely flavored. The beef as well was quite nice. Will be back for the beer though - hard to find local breweries in Singapore and this one’s a keeper for ales and lagers.
