"Opened in 2018, The Tunnel is a speakeasy for the modern era. You enter the 12-seat restaurant through a trap door—after supplying a password, natch—but that’s where the old-timey-ness stops. Once settled in the quaint, hidden dining room, guests enjoy an inventive, five-course tasting menu, paired with cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Make a reservation for one of two nightly seatings, and then check Facebook or The Daily Planet classifieds for the weekly password."

Google
I am a bit at odds writing a review because everyone will know that this place is by far one of the best (if not the best) in Telluride. Small, intimate, something like 12 courses, each one absolutely dialed-in, a fantastic wine pairing and stellar service. Worth every penny as there is no POSSIBLE way I could ever recreate this on my own....ever (well, except maybe the water botte, I could buy that and pour on my own I suppose). It was my better-half's birthday, and the staff took the time to write her a very personal, and heart-felt card....you just don't get that focus and attention to detail anywhere anymore. A very worthwhile splurge, fantastic food, exemplary service, great setting, and with the Chef Mike providing an explanation and back story for every course...could not have asked for a better, more personalized experience!

What an amazing place and food!!!!atmosfere 5 stars, food 5stars, service 5stars. From beginning to end everything is delicious, unique and tasty. This one most talented and creative chef. Get to the tunnel before everyone discovers it.

Google
Absolutely The Best new restaurant in Telluride! Beautiful and intimate setting with only a handful of tables. Every part of the 10 course meal was beautiful and delicious, taking you on a food journey, and leaving you deliriously happy. The wine pairings were also fantastic, I'll be buying some bottles for sure.

I took my parents to dinner here and our meal was AMAZING. My folks were totally blown away by the service and intimate setting, and the food wowed all of us! Mark the owner/chef gives the experience a true personal touch and makes The Tunnel a unique experience for Telluride and not to be missed. We went for the South Western American theme, and I'm hard pressed to say which of the five courses was my favorite, though the scallop/shrimp combo and bison sous-vide were soooooo good. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the cocktails here- no exaggeration- are probably the best in town. Kyle our bartender handcrafted each one with ingredients such as fresh-pressed blood orange juice (YUM). Each cocktail is specifically crafted and made for each entree to bring out the unique flavors of both the food and the beverage- seriously so tasty. We got a sneak peek of next week's Italian theme dinners, and at this rate The Tunnel might be a weekly thing for me.

Google
Wow, is all can say from start to finish. From the text with our secret password and the location to enter, to the passion of the chef and lead server, to the welcoming bubbles and the stunning, to the cozy outdoor seating and if course, the delicious 6 course meal that made nearby Allred’s look like a total rip-off! This was a night to remember and if you think of food as something to be enjoyed and if you think of “dining” as a form of entertainment, Chef Mark and team very much hit the mark! Bravo and was a highlight of our trip. Can’t recommend it enough! Just a small taste to show you the deliciousness and beauty of what to expect.

Google
Amazing, intimate experience! Great speakeasy style concept for a quaint town like Telluride! The South American menu courses and wine pairings we had were delicious! We made friends with everyone at the table! Talented chef and team!

Google
AThis cozy restaurant was such a great experience for our party of 10 in the greenhouse room! Each course was incredible and they were able to cater to our vegetarian and gluten free guests. Cannot recommend this place more! 10/10

Google
Enjoyed the Northern Italian sixth course menu over Valentine's Day weekend. From the moment they called our names until the end of the night when they let our party explore the space, we had a magical time. The service was phenomenal, the food was delicious and the experience was truly unique. The space is tiny, so I would make a reservation and be prepared to make new friends.

Yelp
What can I say? Everything about The Tunnel is superb. It starts off with a text or e-mail that tells you what the password for the night is (reservation is an absolute must). Then there's the little hatch in the door where the staff asks you for the password. We were outside (since it was summer), but it was a covered deck. It is a community table but we were seated one party at a time which added to the atmosphere. The staff are attentive, friendly, and very, very good at their jobs. The food was unbelievable. It was a prix fixe, 6 courses with a Hawaiian theme (the themes change every month or so). The chef (& owner) describes each dish once it's served. We took the wine pairing and one of the waitresses introduced each wine as it was poured. All the dishes and wines (and one sake) were terrific. It really is a dining experience, not just a meal. Prices are definitely toward the high end of Telluride options but worth every penny.

Yelp
This is a really cute and intimate spot to have dinner with friends. We celebrated a birthday with them and they were lovely hosts! I am not a soup person but the soup that they had was sooo delicious and warmed me up on a colder night! The fish was also cooked nicely without it being overdone. It was a nice place to sip wine outside too! I think their menu rotates a bit by the season. The location is tucked away in a plaza, so at first it just looks like it is in a random hallway! They took the covid measures seriously without making the experience feel too isolated.
google avatar

Yelp
Had a lovely birthday dinner here. This is a speak easy inspired restaurant with a prix fixe menu. The menu changes every month and when you make your reservation you'll receive instructions on how to find the place and the password to get in. The food was delicious, creative and the service was excellent. Chef came out to introduce every course and the hostess came back regularly to make sure we had everything we needed.

Yelp
An amazing Coronoavirus experience What we heard from the staff. .about this place during non-Covid times sounds fun. Great big family-style dinners What we got was amazingly great - but definitely a different experience 1) find the place. . .it wasn't easy. . . a speakeasy restaurant. You go down a hallway that looks maybe open. you see a door on the right, knocked, say the password and in you go 2) We were shown to the outside patio which was big and shaded and beautiful and a fun (and amazing) musician. (btw - he survived an avalanche so that was interesting) 3) Beautiful atmosphere, perfect weather . . .and an amazing menu - basil martini - started with this unique drink, I want to try at home - Charcuterie plate shared with the wife. . yum! - amazing shrimp and Mexican street corn - ahi tuni dish on these perfect rice cakes - passion fruit sorbet - key lime pie

Yelp
Last night was the second time we have had dinner at The Tunnel. Both times (2 years apart) the food was excellent, the service was impeccable and the experience was fantastic! The menu changes several times during the season. Last night was northern France. We of course chose the wine pairing and those turned out to be well-paired. We had a tiny taste of foie gras (too tiny in my opinion), French onion soup, duck confit, awesome crepes (even though I didn't get the actual crepe because they don't do them GF), fabulous waygu done sous vide and just ok desserts. They definitely accommodated my GF restriction and I didn't feel like I missed out. Although not everything was perfect I think they really do a great job there and we will definitely be back again someday.

Yelp
Pricey prefix menu. Creole was the theme for the month. Food was very tasty and a few dishes definitely stood out but overall it was just above average and not worth the price. It was disappointing to pay the extra $50 for the wine pairing. Another couple at the table asked about the pairing descriptions and the server said, "I have no idea, l'm not drinking right now" and that was that. No description to go along with each course. Not the kind of answer you want to hear when you are paying $300 for dinner for two.

Yelp
We're in Telluride for a couple of days, decided to stop by here tonight and have dinner. We found this restaurant from other reviewers on various sites. We really loved the small plates and drinks. Menu changes but we had six different items off the menu, all recommended by our server. Great recommendations, food and service. If you're in Telluride, definitely check them out.

Yelp
So so so glad we booked a dinner at The Tunnel while we were in Telluride. It was an intimate dinner of only 12 people at the table, and The Tunnel is always mixing up the prix fixe menu -- Japanese was served last night when we dined there. Mark, the owner, actually dined with us, and it was a pleasant experience hearing his history of 30yrs as a chef, and how he came to create The Tunnel. His chef, I think his name was Josh, made every dish memorable, which is impressive considering how the menu changes cuisines so often. The paired cocktails were also great and fun to watch being made! Another chef from town was at our table and he seemed impressed with each course. We also ate at Alpino Vino during our stay, and if we could only pick 1 dining experience, it would be The Tunnel! We will be back next time we are in town! Mark : your concept is so cool, I hope you keep it the intimate dining experience it is!!

Yelp

Mark the owner/chef gives the experience a true personal touch and makes The Tunnel a unique experience for Telluride and not to be missed. Our server Kip was so friendly and attentive, the entire staff really made it a wonderful experience. We went for the South Western American theme, and I'm hard pressed to say which of the five courses was my favorite, though the scallop/shrimp combo and bison sous-vide were soooooo good. Yelp
Our dinner was an exceptional dining experience! The food was outstanding, portions appropriate, wait staff attentive. The chef comes to the table and explains how he made each course. The pride in his preparation was evident. Overall 5 star experience.

Yelp
Amazing dinner at the Tunnel tonight. Every course was delicious and served graciously. A little bit off the beaten path, but worth the extra steps for an excellent experience.

Yelp
The Tunnel was our favorite night in Telluride. The food (a prix fixe themed menu) was delicious and every detail was thoughtful. We also did the wine pairing and weren't disappointed - it perfectly complimented the excellent food. The Tunnel is also a charming atmosphere - you have to know the password to get in and it's a delightful homage to the history of Telluride. We will be back!

Yelp
Wow what a night! 6 of us were visiting Telluride and read about the concept of the Tunnel and decided to try it. We are all foodies, so a South American themed 6 course dinner sounded delightful! Everything was amazing! We opted for the wine pairing and each course was paired perfectly. The intimate communal room/table was beautiful and unique. The chef describes each course before its eaten. The only suggestion would be to slow down the flow of the courses, felt just a little bit rushed leading into the next course. But the food was outstanding and u can taste and see the passion and creativity that went into preparing each course! Thank you for a fantastic evening!!

Yelp
This place is amazing and great for an intimate dinner. The chef is innovative and clearly cares about his food. Each dish was carefully created and every ingredient was intentional. We also enjoyed the wine paring.

Yelp
WOW WOW WOW. The tunnel is purely incredible. Dined here on a Friday evening for their last night of the Italian menu before switching to French next week. The space is so damn cool. It's a speakeasy so you journey to find it and then when you do it's utter bliss! Won't spoil too many of the details but there's only 12 seats so definitely reserve ahead of time. Our menu consisted of 6 courses and 6 paired wines. First was a lobster arancini on top of a tomato sauce with Prosecco. Second was polenta fries on top of mushrooms in a Demi glaze and dig reduction with a white wine. Next up was a gnocchi sausage veggie stew with another white. Sea bass with seared scallops and a squid ink risotto with a nebbiolo. Last savory course was seared duck and a Sangiovese red. Dessert was a flourless chocolate cake with a scoop of ice cream and a moscato. Every dish was beautifully presented and very intricate. The chef takes the time to explain each course throughout the dinner as well. Fantastic service. Literally cannot say enough positive things about the tunnel. Absolutely will be back when we are on telluride and would recommend it to everyone!!

Yelp
The Tunnel provided an outstanding dining experience in Telluride! A little off the beaten path, and well worth the walk. Cocktails and wine selections were top notch and having the chef come to introduce every dish made the experience even richer. Fine dining and creative cuisine without any pretension, just great quality! Intimate and fun atmosphere, awesome set up for dining with larger groups too. We will be back on our next trip!

Yelp
We had such a great time in this private dining experience. Food was tapas style and exquisite. Perfect amount of food and so tasty every bite. Fabulous job accommodating vegan and gluten-free whatever we needed. We did add on the wine pairing to top off the experience and it did! Webooked our return reservation for film fest before we even left the restaurant.

Katie S.

Yelp
Our second time at The Tunnel, returned after a great experience a few years ago. Fun menu, great flavors! Enjoyed the wine pairings. Disappointed that this time had limited interaction with the Chef as there were multiple seatings at the same time.
google avatar

Yelp
Speakeasy type setup. Amazing decor and ambient music that fits with the menu. We had a party of 10 and it was an amazing dinner party experience. Each course was presented by chef. We did the wine pairing which truly enhanced each bite. An absolute must if you want a truly unique dining experience. Hard to find this type of experience anywhere in the world, so if you find yourself in Telluride this is a must. Off the beaten path location but that was absolutely part of the fun.

Yelp
My husband and I were so lucky to score a place at the sole beautiful custom table at the new Tunnel. We had no idea that we were in for a world class, eloquent, master-crafted meal. After ferreting out the up-the-stairs, right turn, knock with a password, through the kitchen entrance, we were greeted with a choice of a "glass of bubbly" or a glass of beer, our only decision of the evening. The Tunnel's dining room is unusual. Dim, with designer lighting, the space is a cozy nook with space for only 12 at a seating. A grey wall is adorned with obligatory Telluride historic photographs, another wall holds dusky mirrors, tiny bar with a sensational craft bartender inhabits a small corner. Our dinner was extraordinary! Tunnel's opening week featured an amazing five course pre-fixe menu that focused on New World Southwest cuisine. Each course was intricately designed and meticulously balanced. From the amuse bouche of a slice of elk precariously perched on pickled corn relish resting on a crisp of potato pancake, moving on to pork cassoulet enhanced with apple smoke, through delicate scallop entree ending in a final meat course of lamb.., It was an unexpected symphony. My sole complaint was that perhaps the portion of ultra-creamy polenta with cheese ... and hatch chili might be a tad large for the plate (so not for my tummy). We ten were all exclaiming that we were so happily full before the dessert we could not eat another morsel. Presented with a plate that consisted of ...unanimously, we found room. Good news - every course is accompanied by an astonishing craft cocktail. Each might include stuff that you've never heard of but instantly adore (artichoke? (Do not opt for the available wine or beer.) Bring everyone that you are thinking of impressing with Telluride's sophistication and warmth. Bad news - if you are hoping for a bit of romantic solitude, this ain't it. The only option is a table of up to 12 where you somehow all become best friends and swap emails long before dessert. Due to catering commitments, Tunnel is currently open only two nights, Weds. and Thurs. That's only 48 people a week who get the chance to eat and be merry. Use Open Table or their web site to make a reservation. Come equipped with the password. Even better news!! I have intentionally not gone into the the precise details of our meal. You won't get exactly what we did! Mark (backed by his highly trained chefs) has promised a revolving menu that will feature an entirely new cuisine focus, menu, and cocktail enhancements, every two weeks! If for no other reason, I wish I lived here year 'round. Expensive, yes, but so memorable it will be more than worth it.

Yelp
Every course was a amazing and unique experience!! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an experience that stands proudly alone here in Telluride that also comes with AMAZING food! The décor is based off of an old mine which adds to the experience. THIS IS A ONE ON ONE! Chef explains each dish as it hits the table. Great wine pairing as well!

julie b.

Yelp
My family and I have been to the Tunnel multiple times, and it is amazing every time! The wine pairing is always perfect. I usually only like white, but I love the reds they choose. The ambience is so cool, and the staff is so accomodating and friendly. A meal here is our favorite treat when we are in Telluride!

Morgan R.

Yelp
The food was amazing! As was the service by hostess Betsy. Each course was better than the next but I will say the clam chowder soup was our favorite. I highly recommend booking your reservation for this restaurant, my family had so much fun!!

Jason B.

Yelp
What a great dining experience! I will admit, when my wife and I entered the room and took seats across the table from each other, I wasn't sure what I had signed us up for; I thought we would sit next to each other. But as time, and alcohol, passed, it became clear this approach to seating spurs conversation amongst the "strangers." As the meal and conversations progressed, it was clear this was not just a great meal, but a great dining experience! My wife and I ended the meal realizing we met some great people and potentially made long-term friends as cell phone numbers and social media information was exchanged. In fact, about half our group continued the night with an "After Party" at one of the bars in town. I realize it is abnormal for a "restaurant review" to focus on the social aspect rather than the food, and trust me, the food is not an after thought. During our visit, the Tunnel had a Hawaiian themed menu with each course presenting a spin on a classic Hawaiian dish. Overall, we had some wonderful conversation, some great food and some tasty drinks, which produced a very fun and enjoyable experience. And if anyone ever tells you that a table of grown men will not break out into a Pearl Jam tribute in the middle of a fancy meal, well, our group just proved that person wrong! I would recommend anyone who can to experience the Tunnel's dining at least once! And I hope your group is made up of fun, interesting people, because food is always better when enjoyed with friends!
google avatar

Carol B.

Yelp
Just had an amazing dining experience at The Tunnel. After giving the correct password we were treated to a five course 'Carolina Cuisine' meal with signature cocktails for each course. The food and drinks were all well thought out and nicely paired. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. Would highly recommend for a special night out.
google avatar

Yelp
Plan and reserve ahead of your visit! Don't miss a chance to enjoy this delightful, delicious and Devine venue. Its touted as a speakeasy/fixed menu restaurant. A password was required for our party of 4 to enter. There were 10 people at the ONLY, community styled table. Each course was introduced and described in detail by chef "Mark". A genius, apparently, as this was the most unique and enjoyable dining experience we have enjoyed on our many visits to Telluride. We met some other lovely vacationers and locals. We will certainly go back.
google avatar

Alissa D.

Yelp
We LOVED this place. It was definitely a splurge but if you go in with the mindset that you're treating yourself, it's all good. My favorite part is that we didn't have to make any decisions on the meal - life is so full of decisions that to sit down and have someone bring you delicious food and wine, paired perfectly, without weighing the pros/cons of certain dishes, flavors, costs, etc was a treat. And you make friends with strangers! Definitely go. You won't regret it.
google avatar

Yelp
We read about this dining experience on Yelp and decided to give it a try on our recent trip to Telluride 8/10/19. The Jazz festival was in town so it was nice to be able to get a reservation here. That night there were only 6 of us and it was fantastic. I took my son (he's 14 and loves unique food - never a chicken nugget kid - ha) on this trip and he loved it too. The whole experience is something you don't find very often. We had all South American inspired dishes and I will tell you I loved every bite!!! By the time desert came I was full but not over-stuffed. Glad we walked because I needed that after the meal and wine. I would highly recommend this place to all of you that appreciate good food and like meeting new people. The conversations we had just added to the wonderful experience! Thank you SO much Chef Mark and Betsy!!!! See you next time we are in town!!!!

Yelp
Super tasty food, great wine and an awesome concept. Whilst I'm not normally one for communal tables, we met a great group of people which really made the evening. The food was on the expensive side, but the matched wines were great value. Definitely recommend a visit!

Deborah S.

Yelp
We had a fabulous evening enjoying Chef Mark's six course creations. The focus was on Hawaiian cuisine! From the ahi poke to the wagyu every bite was amazing! I highly recommend doing the suggested wine pairing. We also enjoyed the setting of community seating. The experience is a must do when visiting Telluride!

Caroline W.

Yelp
In normal non-COVID times, I would have given this restaurant a one star review. When we called to ask about what dine-in options looked like, said they had only 6-tops inside in the bar area or seating outside that is mostly covered. We make a reservation online for the bar because it's supposed to be cold and rainy. In the terms for the reservation, you get a 5 minute grace period for the reservation and if you miss your reservation or skip out, your card will be charged $40 *per person*. The restaurant is hard to find, which is fine if you're not charging $40/person for being late or missing the reservation. I popped into the market in the same building / shopping center and asked people inside if they knew where it was. 2/2 had no clue. A nice guy outside knew and directed us there. We get there on time, and when we get there, the hostess tells us that our table is a 10-top and one couple will be seated at the other end. I'm fine with that. She brings us into the room with the 10-top. There is no bar in sight, the other side of the table has become the silverware rolling and menu station, and the door across from my seat is propped open letting all of the light and cold wet air in. When we question this, she says that this is pretty much all they have unless we want to sit outside. It was chilly, raining and they don't have heaters outside. We're confused and disappointed but decide to take a look at the menu. We order the charcuterie. While we're waiting, we start chatting with the other couple. They're equally disappointed, but hilarious people. Their server loudly kicks open the door to the kitchen to open it, scaring the man and he jokes with her about it. Later, they want to order another item and let another waitstaff know. As their server walks in, the woman they spoke to grabs her and says, "hey your table would like to order something else." IN FRONT OF US, she says, "that's great. I'm so happy for them. I'll be right back." We're all just incredulous that she's speaking that way in front of the table asking for her. Later, their server comes back in and the man says, "oh you didn't kick the door open this time!" She says something like, "just trying to keep you safe!" To which he says, "that's great. I'm so happy for you." Our charcuterie arrives and is not as advertised - missing ingredients replaced with other ingredients. Which again, I understand having replacements with COVID, but we were never told that what we would be getting was different than what was on the menu. We tabbed out after just the charcuterie. The couple we sat with vacations in Telluride several times a year and loves a place called "there" which was unfortunately booked for the night or we would have gone. We ended up getting takeout elsewhere because reservations are so limited with COVID. Very disappointing, threw a giant wrench in our date night, but we spent the rest of the night laughing together at how ridiculous it was. We're still laughing, but we definitely won't be returning.

Martin S.

Yelp
An extremely enjoyable evening with excellent food and company. We were fortunate enough to share the table with two lovely couples and all of us had very different backgrounds and got on very well. The food is inventive and exceptional. Our theme was creole but it seems likely that all cuisines chosen by the chef will hit heights. Best to roll with the gimmicks; harmless fun which doesn't detract from the very serious quality of the food. Can't recommend highly enough.

Krystle A.

Yelp
What a wonderful experience! Absolutely worth buy the wine pairing package.

Yelp
Simply an amazing experience! It starts with making your reservation where they explain their speak easy style and continued through the unique arrival and introductions. Our meal was an authentic NOLA flavor with a unique twist from Mark the chef. I would highly recommend sharing this event with friends and family. We will be back again for sure.
google avatar

Jeremiah L.

Yelp
Excellent five course meal with a really affordable wine pairing. Chef Mark is a cool guy who will even go out of his way to pick you up, if you're lost. Which we were. Amazing experience with excellent food. What more could you want!?
google avatar

Lee O.

Yelp
Heard a lot about this place. Did not deliver at all. Staff was friendly and nice. Atmosphere was very lacking. Food was fine but really did not have much flavor. Just lacking overall but worth a try. Also very very expensive.

Alex O.

Yelp
We decided to have our wedding rehearsal dinner here and very much glad that we did. The food and service was amazing and working with Mark on scheduling the event was very easy and went exactly as planned. Would absolutely recommend eating here!

A N.

Yelp
What an evening! Six courses of thoughtful, gourmet cuisine with great wine pairings. Chef was informative, amusing and patient with our questions. Gather you pod and get ready for a memorable experience.

Tom W.

Yelp
So good!!! Interesting, delicious food put together nicely. Cool, unique atmosphere. A great place for doing something different and in an intimate location. And Chef Mark coming out to explain each dish is a nice touch.
google avatar

Nicholas T.

Yelp
This was our first time at a speak easy. The atmosphere and services were amazing. We got to the door, said our password and in we went. If I could have imagined a speak easy of the time, this would be it. After seating we were served an incredible 5 course meal with hand crafted cocktails from a mixologist which complemented each course. The food presentation and quality was top notch. They change their menu to different styles every 2 weeks. I can't wait until we can come back and experience a whole new menu.

Yelp
My husband and I and a few friends ate dinner at The Tunnel a few weeks ago, and had such a great experience. It's a perfect date night, or special dinner experience. So many fabulous courses-- so many drinks-- my only regret was that I had to drive us home (and thereby cut myself off from all the booze). Really fun, also fun to meet new people. It's very intimate and personal. I highly recommend this place for something different.
google avatar

Amr H.

Yelp
This the most unique experience I ever had. Fine dining at the highest level, chef Mark thank you for the best set meal course I ever had

Mary M F.

Yelp
Could not recommend more!! Both Sally and Betsy provided top notch service, the food was excellent, cocktails were maybe a little too delicious for me but overall I would give a 10/10. Sitting out on the patio during the summer is hard to beat!

Nancy J.

Yelp
An amazing dining experience so worth checking out. The communal table produced some great conversation and a shared appreciation for Mark's food. Service was impeccable and added to the ambiance of the speakeasy. The Tunnel rivals some of the best meals in NYC! Strongly advise doing the wine paring to enhance every dish.

Scott D.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible food, delicious with outstanding presentation. On top of that, kind thoughtful genuine staff who care for everyone, not just locals.

Heather H.

Yelp
So disappointing. I made a reservation for a 40th bday dinner. When we arrived, we stood outside knocking on the door for 5 minutes. Finally, we let ourselves in. Nobody acknowledged us at first and then they scrambled to lock the door behind us. When we sat down we were given the menus and realized they only had one wine of each variety. We asked if we could get a bottle but they seemed confused and definitely knew nothing about wine. This was surprising to me as they used to pair wines with dinner courses. We ended up ordering a Chardonnay and a Stella. The Chardonnay was terrible. We quickly decided we were not going to stay long, so we decided to only order one small plate. We ordered the Ahi, which was VERY small and chewy. We could overhear other tables having similar experiences.

Yelp
This is one of the best meals of my LIFE. Like ever of all time. A meal is first and foremost about the food but the cocktails, service and atmosphere have to be "just so" to make it an experience and The Tunnel is an incredible experience. Food should be the star and it is here. The amuse bouche had 15+ ingredients. It's hard to fit that many flavors on something the size of a Triscuit and make it taste amazing but It happened. And everything from that point was equally as good or better. And paired perfectly with wine and cocktails. The bonus of the evening is the group table. We had the pleasure of being seated with the unofficial historical society of Telluride. Three couples who have owned property in the area for 35 years or more. The stories were amazing. And they were just fun! In addition, we had another couple who may have been plants from reality television. We thought we were being punked. I'm not joking. Throw in perfect service and you get a night that is worth twice the (very pricey) price. It should be a "must stop" for any Telluride trip.

Yelp
Elegantly crafted food and uniquely paired cocktails. The intimate setting allows for interesting conversations, with new and old friends, at the spectacular communal dining table.

Yelp
We ate at The Tunnel in late July while the menu was Hawaiian focused. It was a great experience. The food and wine were very good, we enjoyed the interactions with the Chef and staff, and it was really fun to meet new people as part of the dining experience. It was worth the price for us.
