Staying at the Twenty Lodge was amazing. In a country where hospitality is number 1 priority this lodge/hotel manages to exceed expectations. All minor or small requests we had where immediately acted upon, staff was incredibly friendly and genuinely concerned for our experience turning this stay into our favourite location of all travel we had in Thailand (even though it was far from the most expensive).
We stayed for a few nights with in Chiang Mai old town and really enjoyed the quietness and calmness of the hotel. The lush garden and quiet pool where pretty hangout spots when not in town and the well maintained clean rooms where perfect for a mid-week stay.
Breakfast was well prepared and of high quality, although it slightly small in offerings. For the size of the hotel this is a sensible choice, especially as the hotel is concerned with not wasting food (and water).
Location wise, it is close to local night market and in the inner city walls meaning most big highlights are easily reached either walking (10 to 15 min) or even quicker out of City center by taxi.
Bonus item was the presence of hotel cat Sushi! She had a lot to say sometimes but was quietly purring when catching sunrays and headscratches.
Thank you Twenty Lodge team for making the stay incredibly pleasant we hope to return one day.

The staff was very friendly, but I would not stay here again. The place is tucked away in Old Town (feels like a jungle) but it’s all outside so when you leave your room you are outside and you can hear other people when you’re in your room. The door to your room are French Doors and all glass which I didn’t love. The bathroom is horribly laid out and makes it hard to move around when trying to get ready. ||The breakfast was okay and had things like toast, yogurt, eggs, a warm thai dish that would change everyday, and some sort of sweet thai treat.

A small beautiful botique hotel in the old town area of Chiang Mai. I stayed only for 1 night due to date availability issue. The staff is helpful and they arranged a car for us to drop till Chiang Rai and price was at par with what you get outside. There is limited parking spot but I was fortunate to get one during our stay. A small swimming pool and a small restaurant which serves breakfast. Options for vegetarian is limited to bread and fruits. Being in Old Town, everything is near by. The room of the hotel was quite spacious with a double bed and extra bed. The beds are firm to our liking and we got a good night sleep. Lighting in room was good. Bathroom was basic but clean. There could be mosquitoes around but they provide repellent. Wifi in room is weak, ok for normal browsing. I preferred to stay on data as i felt multiple devices connecting to wifi was slowing the speed. Overall we had a pleasent stay.

The staff is very nice and helpful.
The breakfast ist made with love, but it lacks variety.
Overall the hotel has a problem with mosquitoes and bugs of all kinds. Ants everywhere, cockroaches, butterfly midges etc.
The hotel room was okay, but there were stains on the bedsheets.
Anyways, the location is quite nice, as everything is in walking distance.

Beauriful garden and amazing breakfast bufffet.
Rooms are clean and spacious.
The only thing: the swimming pool would need a refresh 😊

It is a small hotel with a unique atmosphere. The soundproofing is poor and the water supply system is old. I like the ethnic atmosphere and the staff are kind.

I was a little apprehensive booking this due to the fact that it was rated only 3 star. I shouldn’t have worried; it was absolutely perfect. My room was spacious and well equipped. Both WiFi and Air Conditioning were excellent. The staff are all charming and helpful and the location is so peaceful, despite being only a 10 minute walk to the hustle and bustle of the famous night markets. Also - best massage I’ve ever had was here!!
