Here's How I Experienced Asian American Culture at Disney

"A classic drop-tower attraction at the Florida resort whose lobby includes small cultural touches—most notably a mahjong table—serving as a subtle example of how Asian-American influences are being integrated into themed spaces across parks." - Rachel Chang Rachel Chang Rachel Chang is a travel and pop culture journalist who contributes to Travel + Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler, Lonely Planet, and more. 20 Disney World Secrets You've Never Heard Before

"An attraction with a long-running in-joke: Imagineers allegedly played pranks involving a jar of pickled sausages, and one such prop was accidentally left behind during final set dressing; that jar reportedly still sits tucked out of sight behind the photo pickup area as a playful nod to the creative team's backstage camaraderie." - Carlye Wisel Carlye Wisel Carlye Wisel is one of the nation's leading theme park journalists. 57 Disney World Rides and Attractions, Ranked From Best to Worst

"A richly themed drop-tower experience that transports guests into an eerie Hollywood Tower Hotel setting, complete with a detailed queue set in the courtyard, lobby, and boiler room that appears "spookily stuck in time" and builds suspense before a dramatic up-and-down elevator-shaft finale." - Elizabeth Rhodes Elizabeth Rhodes Elizabeth Rhodes is a senior editor at Travel + Leisure, covering everything from luxury hotels to theme parks to must-pack travel products. The Best Things to Do at Disney World: The Rides and Beyond | Condé Nast Traveler

"The Hollywood Tower Hotel, looming at the end of Sunset Boulevard, is an icon of Disney’s Hollywood Studios that houses one of Disney World’s most thrilling attractions. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror dares you to enter a rickety service elevator to the hotel’s 13th floor and propels you up and down—then back up again—for a truly hair-raising experience. The ride is in a dark, enclosed space, and the drops are fast and unpredictable enough to frighten plenty of kids—not to mention adults." - Valerie Marino

We love this ride it’s too bad they switched it to guardian of the Galaxy in Anaheim California we used to ride this all the time. I love how you can go in either line or the same over and over and still get a different experience. It’s completely random. We went during the weekday and was able to ride this ride over and over so much fun!

Awesome ride. The twilight zone preview with Rod Sterling is classic as not too many young kids know who that is. The employee uniforms are what makes this ride authentic. The doorman at the entrance is believable and so are the bell hops.

An absolute classic! I’ve been riding this since I was a kid, and I hope it never gets a retheme like other Tower of Terror rides around the world—it’s perfect as is. Thrilling, spooky, and packed with amazing effects. This ride will always have a special place in my heart! We even saw Max and Goofy in line!

Never gets old — definitely one of the top 2 rides in the park. It’s always fun, with a great story and exciting drops.

Absolutely! Here’s a version tailored for Google Reviews: ⸻ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 An Unforgettable Experience! The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is one of the best rides at the park — truly a must-do! The theming is next-level. From the moment you walk into the Hollywood Tower Hotel, you’re completely immersed in the story. The attention to detail is incredible, and the vintage vibe is spot-on. The pre-show sets the stage perfectly, and the ride itself is a total adrenaline rush. The drops are intense and totally unpredictable — I was screaming and laughing the whole time. It’s thrilling without being over-the-top scary, making it fun for both thrill-seekers and casual riders. If you’re visiting the park, don’t skip this ride. It’s the perfect mix of storytelling, atmosphere, and excitement. Highly recommend!

This ride got me out of my seat, literally! I absolutely love the way they do the decoration of the entire weight line in and the storyline leading up to the big drop finale. And it was so cool that the entire thing's built on a classic Twilight zone TV series.

Place had a lot of potential, unfortunately the staff don’t seem very energetic or ‘spiritful’ in maintaining the lobby or walkways. Dust and cobwebs over anything and everything. After checking in we were led to a small entertainment room which clearly hadn’t been updated in years ! The TV was black and white and only showed one channel hosting repeats all day. Lastly there was clearly some maintenance going on in the usual walkways as we were led down the dark and damp hall to the maintenance elevators. WHICH ARE CLEARLY FAULTY AND IN SERIOUS NEED OF REPAIR !!!
