The Twisted Crab - Richmond

The food was amazing and so was the service! The atmosphere was so nice we forgot we were near the hustle and bustle of holiday shoppers. One thing though, if you go in there ask for Jasmine Wyatt! She was an absolute superstar! She was so knowledgeable and attentive! She knew everything about the menu and made us feel so incredibly welcome! She brought our food and drinks so quickly and made us feel like we were the only people there. I wish there was a rating above 5 stars!

I absolutely love this place! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was fun, welcoming, and full of great energy. The food was incredible — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. But what really made the experience special was the outstanding service we received from Shawnti. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. Her positive attitude and great recommendations made our visit even more enjoyable. The Twisted Crab in Midlothian has definitely become one of my favorite spots, and I can’t wait to come back!

Everything's great! You've GOT to try the wing boil! Perfect size, Tastes good, amazing flavor, and perfect if you're allergic to seafood! All for a good and reasonable price! You will love it here. The music, the vibes, the costumer service. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Really enjoyed an early dinner with my sister. We got shrimp (no head) 1 lb and snow crab legs (1 lb)and added another lb of snow crab legs with old bay mild spicy level. It didn’t take long to come out and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. The side of fries we also got were hot and crunchy, very good. The bottled beer was nicely chilled and refreshing. We ended up ordering one more lb of the crab legs too. We will definitely be back. Also our server, Joshua, was wonderful. He was attentive, polite and just a delight.

Very good service! The staff is always friendly, and every time I eat here, I enjoy my experience. Special thanks to Jasmine for providing great service and checking on us. Overall, everything was great thank you!

With full transparency, we have eaten here before and loved it. There are so many great servers and nights where things run smoothly. I have no problem being told that they are busy and “can’t seat more tables at this moment” but we weren’t. We were seated and told it would be just a minute, and we waited. We tried to flag a server down after 15 minutes and we were hoping maybe the section’s server would even make an appearance. They didn’t. A runner made eye contact with me and held up a finger over the divider to presumably signal a moment. 20 minutes later, we walked out without having seen even a glass of water. I have always recommended this place to people, was just disappointed with the service today.

It was our seventh wedding anniversar and the service was exceptional.... The manager surprised by playing Tony. Toni toné's Anniversary song on the radio! All of the staff were lovely and just made our our anniversary that much sweeter. The manager even took our picture in front of The display at the front of the store at the end of our meal. They truly made our anniversary a great one. Thank you to the manager and the staff at this Richmond location who worked the lunch shift on June 30. 2025.

We come here all the time. Typically there is no wait. However, holidays are really busy for them. There is ample parking because its in Chesterfield Towne Center. My husband and I always get the Family Meal (F2) which comes with shrimp, mussells, crab legs, sausage, eggs, potatoes. Its more than enough to share because we always have potatoes, mussels, sausages and shrimp left over to take home. We always go with the house sauce, medium because its not too spicy but has the perfect amount of heat combined with flavorful Cajun spices. We've tried the wings and the rice and honestly those were 8/10. Definitely recommend. We don't drink but they're frozen drinks are bomb! We usually opt for the frozen Virginia Pina colada and twisted bubble gum. Its not what you think, it doesn't taste like bubble gum lol. The service is also very good. Jasmine was our waitress this time and she was super pleasant. Jasmine was attentive, and she didn’t try too hard. She genuinely nice and made sure to check on us every now and again.
