This was our first stay on our Trip to Bali from Arizona and one of my favorite stays. I've stayed at a lot of places and don't normally give out a perfect 5 stars unless it is well deserved. Our flight ran a little late, but the resort had a driver waiting for us. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised because the street view doesn't do this place justice, it was even better than expected once inside. The perfect distance to town and the hotel offered a shuttle every 2 hours. We stayed in a Duplex Villa room with a private pool and it was absolutely amazing. One of the coolest rooms I've stayed in and tons of room. Very comfortable and relaxing stay. The Balinese people are some of the most kind and wonderful people I have ever met. They really went out of their way to make our stay one of the best. The food at the restaurant was amazing, very reasonably priced and the fact breakfast was included was a huge plus. This place is definitely well towards the top of my list of favorite stays and I recommend checking it out.

We stayed in one of the Ubud Pool Villas at The Udaya and absolutely loved our experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable — every member of staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. Nothing was ever too much trouble.||The walk to our villa was quite a trek, but honestly, it was so worth it. The villa itself was stunning — peaceful, private, and beautifully designed, with everything you need for a relaxing stay.||The resort grounds are gorgeous and immaculately maintained, with lovely touches everywhere you look. The food and drinks were delicious, and the small gym was a great bonus for keeping up some fitness while away.||If I had one small piece of feedback, it would be that the staff can be a little too attentive at times — especially at breakfast, where several people often asked the same questions. It’s a minor thing, though, in what was otherwise a perfect stay.||We left feeling completely relaxed and well looked after. Highly recommend The Udaya for anyone looking for a beautiful and tranquil escape in Ubud.

This is a wonderful hotel. It features a tranquil, beautiful setting. The staff is very helpful and generous. The included breakfast is very good with MANY choices and the restaurant overlooks a temple. Afternoon tea also is included. The bed was comfortable and rooms are spacious. Ours was quiet, as we requested. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. |There are two things visitors should be aware of. One is that it is not at all handicapped accessible. If you find steps without handrails challenging, look elsewhere. The other is that the downside of its quiet location is that it is a ways from the center of Ubud. To go anywhere local, you have to go thru that center, and traffic into, out from, or thru is awful, especially after 1 or 2 pm. A ten-minute ride can take 45 minutes, whether you use the hotel shuttle (to center only, every 2 hours), equivalent of Uber, whatever. But, unless you want to stay in a noisy, sometimes rowdy, atmosphere, you will have this problem. With these caveats, we highly recommend Udaya.

It’s a small but beautiful resort. The hours for the gym and pool are not ideal. The pain points for us were the open shower (no doors) which was hard to navigate with a child in the room, as well as the loud music in the restaurant past 9pm which we could hear in our bedroom. The staff is limited in the help they provide, even after multiple requests to lower the music volume. While good for couples, I would not recommend this for families with small children.

Wonderful stay! the pool area almost magical. Room is spacious, has everything you need, well air-conditioned. The bed! Makes you feel a little bit of royalty! We also took a chance to go on a hotel organized morning walk - Campuhan Ridge Walk - which was a great experience.

We had the best stay at the Udaya for the end of our honeymoon. Staff were always friendly and went above and beyond. There was no job too small. The food was delicious and being gluten free was not a problem. The resort is stunning!! There is so much attention to detail and it is so peaceful. When we arrived at our room, the bed had been decorated with rose petals and a cake arrived to celebrate our honeymoon. We’ve had the best tile and we only wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much!

This stay was truly amazing. The staff are very polite, helpful and kind, if we had any issues they were solved immediately. They also offer a shuttle bus to the city centre which is very convenient. The views from this place are magnificent and the breakfast is really good with a big selection of food as well as freshly made juices, tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc.

Amazing staff, listia (guest relations), Davis and Putuyoda are some standouts- they really are brilliant amazing people. Beyond that the hotel itself is beautiful, with gorgeous architecture and landscaping along side great activities such as morning yoga. To top it off the breakfast is also fabulous.
