The Ugly Mug Ceramics

Shell and Aimee are so very nice and have such a beautiful shop! It features not only their gorgeous handmade ceramics but they also have a selection of wonderful items from other artists. I always love stopping in when I am in town and seeing what's new. It's a wonderful place to pick up a gift for yourself and one for a friend!

This place has one of kind ceramic unique items. Owners Shell and Aimee were super friendly. They also accept made to order items. We love coming to their store!

Our office took a pottery class at The Ugly Mug and had an amazing time. Shell and Aimee were not only great teachers, but went above and beyond any thing expected in providing us with a fun afternoon of creativity. It was our first time working with pottery and each of us were surprised and happy with how good our creations turned out. All of us agreed that it was one of our best holiday gatherings ever. Also, the shop itself is filled with wonderful things and I know I will be returning often to get gifts for myself and others. Highly recommended.

The ugly mug is a very special place to find unique pottery gifts and artistic items. In addition, they sell essential oils, jewelry, stickers, and more. What makes the Ugly Mug particularly special are the owners, Shell and Aimee. They are so incredibly welcoming, lovely people, and wonderful Potters.

I just ran into one of my favorite friends from college…Shell Voorhees, one of the owners. How fun it was to browse the store and talk about her business she loves! I can’t wait to go visit again and purchase a birthday gift for my sister!

Two of the most talented and most friendly people I know! A “must-visit” if you happen to be in Morrow!

What a cute little shop in downtown Morro Bay! They have a wide variety of items like jewelry, coasters, ornaments, art, essential oils, dog accessories, as well as their beautiful, unique, handmade mugs! The owner Aimee was so friendly and welcoming! I had one of my Australian shepherd pups with me and Aimee gave him all the love and cuddles and even had puppy treats for him! Such a wonderful human! This shop is SO dog friendly, which I love! They apparently also do private pottery classes which look like a lot of fun! I can't wait to go back to this shop and bring friends that are visiting. This is a testament to why I love shopping local - amazing local business owners!

It has special items but the mug selection could have been stronger. I was looking for their signature mug and not much was available. They do have some cute decorations for a specialty collection.

Aimee & She'll have such great talent and are so kind and sweet. If you don't see it, they will do whatever it takes to make it or get it. They are so talented orange being my favorite color this base they made for me is AMAZING! If you have a dog, bring it by their shop they will feature them on their IG such great dog lovers. From pottery to candles to stickers and I clothes to artwork you make it they have it and if it's anything pottery maybe you will get fortunate enough to see them make something!

They have beautiful mugs, pumpkins, and all kinds of art! Something for everyone. This is my go to spot for buying gifts for friends and family, and I always find something for myself.
