The Ukulele Site in Haleiwa, Hawaii is the only place I would buy from or recommend anyone to deal with. People at this store are amazingly knowledgeable and cooperative. I have purchased six instruments from them and each has been set up and delivered as promised. I have communicated with Joel and Veronica. They are both super people – one day I would love to meet them in person. Things happen and sometimes they go wrong. This is one place you can rely on remedies quickly executed. Great products, amazing staff, excellent service is why I can recommend everyone to this site. Thank you all for your devotion to ukulele owners and players from around the world. Aloha.

This is the best place to buy ukulele! I drove up to the Haleiwa store to test out a couple of ukulele that I had called ahead to try out. Corey was so patient and helpful while I tried out the instruments. Then, he went out of his way to take me to their warehouse to show me an instrument half the price and much better value for the money. I fell in love with this absolutely stunning ukulele. He could have sold me the more expensive ukulele if he was only interested in making money. I am so impressed with his integrity. He also explained the quality control inspection and adjustments they make to each instrument before shipping them out. I wish I had purchased all my instruments through them. I will definitely buy my future ukulele from them! Mahalo for the outstanding customer service!

Not what they seem. I ordered an ukulele described as all wood... i.e. wood top, mahogany sides etc. I only realized after ordering that according to other sites, the sides were laminate. BiG difference. Canceled the order because I live in a part of the Big Island in which laminate doesn't fare well. After leaving a message, called back the next day and was informed of their 3% return policy. I was going to be charged for being misled? Calmly described the situation, and the call service said they'd look into it. Called me back to say "this time" they'd wave the cancelation fee-- but to know in the future, a "wood top " indicates the other parts are laminate. My husband-- who actually studied violin making -- polled a few friends who agreed it was a misrepresentation... but the fact they knew it wasn't clear smacks of dishonesty. So you have to know in advance that it's implied a wood top negates the other sides as being wood? I live in Hawai'i and will never shop here. I also will add they advertised -- or "implied "-- a "sale" price wherein all the other sites er cited as the retail price. Sorry. You're not getting away with this one.

Amazing customer service. I wish I lived in Hawaii so I could visit the store in person. I ordered the ukulele online, and the instrument was exactly as described, fast service, perfectly setup, safely packed for shipping. Thanks for the most beautiful Kamaka!

The sale associate was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I got to try out various ukuleles and he also played on them a little bit so I could hear how they sounded. He seemed to know exactly what I was looking for and I ended up buying the very first one even though I got to try a bunch. I took home a Kala Baritone model with bag and I am very happy with it!
