We were here visiting our grandkids, and they told us about this pie shop. Needless to say it was really, really good! I had a slice of bacon and corn quiche that was incredibly good. The grandkids had a Keylime pie that was super tart and delicious wife had a snickerdoodle cookie and we have yet to dive into the other cookie, but we can already tell it’s gonna be delicious.

Google
Upper Crust has been a must stop on all our cross country road trips. I always plan to pass through KC during their open hours because the pie is worth the stop! The strawberry rhubard pie is so delicious, and their crust is perfect. We love the cutie pies for a perfect sized road trip treat.

I want to say how AWESOME 💯 this location is! First, I have never had a real Pie before 🙈 but let me tell you the Pecan Pie slice I had (with ice cream) was 🔥🔥🔥 Now, food of course is important but to me business grow due to relationship with customers! The ladies who are the backbone of the business were so welcoming and kind 😊 This made my experience with my wife great 🙌 So if you want to experience some great food and hospitality come check out The Upper Crust!

Google
Stumbled onto The Upper Crust by chance and was completely, happily surprised! We left with 3 mini pies and all were delicious but the Cherry 🍒, not shown due to being inhaled, was amazing!! Also, the cookies are great!! The shortbread was thick and buttery, simple yet perfectly baked. We will absolutely be back to try more fun flavors and the pie flights! Shown are Keylime and Blueberry Buttermilk.

Came in on my birthday yesterday July 3rd to treat myself. It took 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me and the young lady that did made me feel that I was truly putting her out. We made our selection, she rang us up and then immediately walked away. My daughter & I were shocked by her lack of caring and I had to stand there another 5 minutes because she failed to give me my receipt and finally she acknowledged me, I asked her for the receipt which she gave me and quickly walked away because chatting with her coworker's were more important than a customer like me. Her customer service skills are horrible! UPDATED REVIEW 7/11/25 I want to give a new review. I want everyone to know that the owners Kellie & Lisa truly cared enough about my experience they wanted to speak with me personally. All I can say is their phone call made me feel that I am a valuable customer and that I truly matter to them. They truly have an amazing bakery, if you are a lemon lover do yourself a big favor & special order their Lemon Meringue Pie, it is the most amazing pie ever!! Trust me you will not regret it!! Kellie & Lisa thank you for reaching out to me and making feel like a valued customer. I am looking forward to trying other yummy treats, we will be visiting your bakery more!!!

You want pie? Look no further! Yup! This is it...the final stop. Absolutely phenomenal pies and service. We couldn't make up our minds on what to order and even after we ordered we couldn't make up our mind on which one was our favorite. Parking is street parking and the shop is small buttttttt that doesn't matter. That's how good the pies are. Take a slide or half or a full pie. They have various sizes too. The service was amazing as well. The lady helped us make a decision although technically there was no bad decision to be made in there 😂

Google
One of the best places to get dessert for the family or other group gathering. They also offer pie flights every now and then, which you have order online in advance, but highly recommend taking advantage of it because you get to sample all sorts of different flavors. The Sour Cream Apple and Brown Sugar Buttermilk were two of our favorites. Lots of different flavors, so anyone can find something that they like.

Google
Another great pie experience this weekend. Last weekend I bought a coconut custard for a co-worker. He said it was great and his son said "this tastes like vacation". Tonight I ate almost a whole cutie pie of the Bumbleberry. Always great! Thanks!

Yelp
Love the fact they donate their tips to charities. Everything we ordered was tasty and the lady behind counter very nice and helpful.

Yelp
Grabbed a couple of mini pies to celebrate 3.14 day! We tried the bumbleberry, the chocolate and the lemon curd pies. They were all delicious!! The bakery is super cute and the staff was friendly and helpful on a very busy day!

Yelp
Banana cookie... is like fluff of yummy in your mouth!!! I cannot wait to try more delightful things from this establishment!!! Great service and super clean!!!

Yelp
Super happy people work there. They treat you special when you visit. The pies? MMMMMMMM! Got a slice of Cherry pie and highly recommend. Also got a version of a banana bread scone and it was also great. Took the two mini pies home and they were awesome. The fillings are wonderful. The crust is hard to describe. It is like thin layered Baklava pastry. Not exactly the same but in that area. Very flaky/pastry like. Quaint little shop. Sat outside to eat a slice of Cherry pie to enjoy the weather. A little pricey, but worth it. I will be back!

Yelp
Stopped by Upper Crust to get a little sweet treat this afternoon. I had a hankering for coconut cream pie, but they didn't have any so I got a chocolate cream cutie pie instead. The pie is very yummy. I can't say it's the best I've had, because a place in Topeka has better. But it was the best I can get without going to Topeka. And their mini pies are just absolutely adorable! The bakery is super cute and they have lots of little gifts you can purchase on top of the pie and cookies. And the service was great. The women working were extremely sweet!

Yelp
I found this bake shop about 3 years ago, and being a cherry pie aficionado, I thought I had found the perfect place. But unfortunately over the last year, the quality of this flavor of pie has really gone downhill. Their cherry pie now consists of a lot more goop than actual cherries. I thought it might just be an isolated incident, so I gave them a second and even a third try, only to find the additional pies to be of equally poor quality. When I called it to the attention of one of the owners, she just gave me a shrug of the shoulders and didn't really seem to care. I've officially purchase my last cherry pie there. On a positive note, their snooker doodles are still good!
google avatar

Yelp
This is a great spot for those who have a sweet tooth! The Upper Crust had many different treat options and I recommend that you give them all a try. My favorites are the mini/personal pies and their cookies. The pies are not only extremely cute but also very tastey. In addition to the mini pies, There are options to try their pies by the slice, or to take home one of their larger pies (a great option for sharing!) My favorite cookies are their peanut butter and snickerdoodle - although you can't go wrong with any of the cookie choices! There is no seating inside the shop so plan to take your treats with you! In addition to tastey treats, The Upper Crust also has cute housewares like kitchen towels, oven mitts, and aprons. I always find myself browsing as there is always something new! I highly recommend that you try out this shop if you are in the area!

Yelp
I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon after visiting the Farmer's Market, so I was admittedly visiting late in the day for a bakery - their pies were sold out, and I was told you have to arrive early Saturday morning to be able to snag one. So, learn from my mistake and drop by early if you want a pie! I did pick out several cookies to bring home which were thick, chewy, and absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and the shop itself is very cute. I'll definitely be making another trip to try some additional goodies!

Yelp
Cute little pie shop with some of the best pies I've ever tried. A bit pricey but the quality is amazing, totally worth trying. The butterscotch has to be my all time favorite, it's perfection.

Yelp
It's a good thing Upper Crust is only open four days a week because it's terribly delicious and utterly addictive. I first discovered this gem in 2018 and I have never, ever been the same. Everything else dessert-related has grown basic, boring, and bland by comparison. Don't look back: you're not going that way. I haven't sampled everything here; however, I've never been disappointed by this place. My favorite is their strawberry rhubarb pie-- tart and sweet, even better with some vanilla ice cream on top. The classic apple is always a good choice--warm it up and prepare to die happy. Their caramel apple pie is rare and obscenely delectable -- DO NOT MISS THAT OPPORTUNITY! Their crust is flaky, buttery, and it pairs perfectly with the fruity goodness inside. The sugar sprinkled atop is their signature and what can I say? I never want any other pie again (don't tell my mom, okay?!). It's pointless. I can always count on sister-owners, Elaine and Jan, when I need to bring a treat to a get together. I have called numerous times at the last minute and they're always kind enough to set something aside or help me get a hold of the perfect little something. While pie is the star of the show, their pecan bars are equally delicious--salty n' sweet-- maybe just sinful! Also: did I mention they have the perfect hostess gifts? Tons of thoughtful presents for people you love, or just get yourself those darling oven mitts with dogs on them, you deserve it! I miss the days when I could come here with a friend and grab a cozy little table and enjoy a slice together. But you can take it to go and find a spot to sit outside-- or, if you're me, scarf it down in the car on your drive home. I love this place, I can't get enough, and it's always just what I'm craving. Go there immediately!

Melissa C.

Yelp
You can't go wrong here. The pies are wonderful. Definitely take home a bag of pie fries (and try and not eat them all at one time). The service is great, they get you in and out pretty fast, even when they're busy. Good selection and the shop is so cute.

Yelp
Upper Crust is by far the best place for pie in the metro area. Hands down. It's not only got the best pie, but their cookies are delectable, AND they've got the cutest shop in their storefront. Key Lime is my favorite, but they've got great combo flavors like apple blackberry and peach raspberry. So good!!!!

Angela P.

Yelp
Stop in! You will not be disappointed. I recently moved back and this was one of my top 5 places I had to get to. It hadn't changed its quality or service in the 7 years I've been away. I was so happy to see this. I was only disappointed they did not have my favorite pie - the blackberry cream - that day.

Christine B.

Yelp
The pies are a 5 star, the prices are a bit steep. Love the pie flights, 3 smaller slices, so you can taste pieces you might not buy. I had cinnamon cream last week, delicious. Make sure to order ahead.
google avatar

Yelp
Why are there not more pie shops in Kansas City? Also, why isn't anybody as upset by this as me? It's no secret that the Upper Crust is the the best pie shop in the metro. You may not know that they also make killer cookies. I stopped in the other day after lunch *just* for a cookie, got sidetracked by all the wonderful local goodies available for purchase and ended up taking way too long to decide on a cookie flavor only to get both and share with my family when I got home. Spoiler: they were both amazing. Just go here and eat pie. Just do it.

Yelp
Great pies, and slices are to die for! Hard to argue with the quality. Everyone there is also incredibly kind and fun to work with also

Lois N.

Yelp
You cannot leave without buying - we tried mini pies and cookies. Excellent - coconut cream, strawberry rhubarb and blueberry pies were our first choices. Cookies were peanut butter, shortbread and salted nut pecan bar. The store/bakery is adorable and that 'just baked' smell is to die for. Everyone was helpful and wrapped our goodies with care. Everyone arrived home safe and sound....except one cookie didn't make it home.

Yelp
I stopped here last Wednesday, a few hours after they opened. I was in the area and they were finally open when I was there. I've been here before and have had a pretty decent time, and when their pies are made fresh, they are normally quite well. I got 2 chocolate chip cookies, 1 shortbread cookie, 1 banana cookie, and a piece of pecan pie. First off, they only had a few pies available to be served as a slice. They were not out, or presented to the public and they were sliced back behind, in the baking area. ThIere is a reason for that I feel, which I will get to. The whole pies, were over $33 a piece. THIRTY THREE DOLLARS for a whole pie.. Yeah, wow... Don't tell me about how pies are made, etc.. I make pies, cakes and cookies. That is too much for a pie, period. Especially when they can't serve a slice that is quality. People really need to get out more, taste things more and know quality vs cost. There are other pie places around KC where they are UNDER priced for quality, not here. The piece of pecan pie that I got, was old. This was a Wednesday. They had been closed for 3 days prior. When was this pie made!? Who knows, but they went ahead and charged me full price for the slice. The bottom crust was so saturated with goo, that it was non existent. Just paper thin goo that had melded into the pecan mixture. The pie filling itself had aged so much, that part of it had a toffee chewiness that could only be achieved by age. It had a slight off flavor as well. This was 100% not fresh baked pie, and was 100% full price. That is not okay. You are a pie shop, make fresh pies. The 2 chocolate chip cookies were not for me, but I tasted a bit. They were okay, with an odd over sweetness to them. The shortbread was thick and amazing. Super good and the best thing I tried there. Crumbly bite and soft texture. Really good. The banana cookie, was lack luster. I remembered trying it, as soon as I bit into it. The cookie part smells great, but barely has any flavor. The icing is too sweet with the sweetness being the over all flavor. I get it, the icing is supposed to "sugar up" the cookie, but it doesn't work. Flavor up that cookie and tame down the icing sweetness and you may have something. The cookie was so moist it practically fell part, and then the icing was near rock hard (sugar). I MAY go back sometime, but I feel "this place isn't for me" (as I can hear people reading this may say) .. And I'm 100% okay with that! FYI, staff did NOT have face masks on. This is in response to their posted policy on this page and a response to a customer that had an issue.

Yelp
Let's shout out to a locally owned and operated business that has survived the cruddy show of the past two years! The Upper Crust Pie Bakery is truly a delight that Overland Park should make sure to protect and keep in business! These folks do the work, elbow grease and make a product worth of raving reviews. Call ahead and make it easier for their staff. Be helpful to a smaller staff that is keeping their heads above water while trying to keep the public happy. Let me be very fair, go back through my hundreds and hundreds of reviews. I do NOT like sweets, however, I am able to find things here that I can appreciate and they're always a crowd pleaser! Stop in, check them out, call ahead if you know what you want. Keep their doors open and lights on folks!

Matthew M.

Yelp
Absolutely the best pies and cookies in the area!!!! The service was amazing and very easy to order!! Will definitely be ordering again!!

Yelp
great food and service, a little pricey but great cookies and pies! The workers were very friendly and helpful.

Yelp
I love Uppercrust but did myself wrong. I bought a miniature apple crisp pie, but should've bought a whole pie. Needless to say, my dog loves Uppercrust and enjoyed his peanut butter dog treat from there as well. Unfortunately I left without cookies! (What was wrong with me??) The shop is adorable. Several cute items available displayed. I will certainly return there a lot.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been getting pies from there for almost five years! I'm picky when it comes to pies, especially when it comes to the crust. It's buttery, light, perfect. The employees there are always welcoming. They make me feel valued as a customer when I go there. My personal favorite is the German chocolate pie. I also love their peach and blueberry pie!
google avatar

Yelp
Cannot rave enough about this lovely little spot in downtown OP. With a warm and welcoming atmosphere upon entering, be ready to have your senses overwhelmed with baked goods joy. This initial trip brought me in for whatever lucky pie was available which ended up being blueberry. It was fantastic. Looking forward to getting back in for a cherry or their rumble pie. Couple other items I grabbed to enjoy were their peanut butter cookie and burnt sugar banana. I didn't get the enjoy the banana one, but everyone that's tried it has loved it. Looking forward to more pie in my future.

Yelp
Good selection of pies that ate delicious. Especially like they have meat pies as well as fruit pies.

Yelp
I definitely feel that I need to go back here for a full understanding of what they offer, so I will make that a priority. However, on the occasion that I visited, I got two slices of fruit pie. It's not that they weren't good, it's just that the crust was a bit more flakey than I would have liked. Also, they really didn't have much of a variety when I visited. It was just one or two different types of pie. No cream options and very limited. Additionally, the hours at that time (early 2020) were pretty difficult for me, as I work a 9-5 and by the time I could get there after work there they were almost closed. In some cases, they were closed and I had driven all the way there. In any case, I need to do some further research and get out there again. I've heard great things, my experience just wasn't what I had hoped at the time.

Kristen F.

Yelp
Um.... Yum, Yum, Yum. We were in Overland Park for a vet visit. I had heard about this place on The Best Thing I Ever Ate. It did not disappoint. Although they did not have the pie I originally went for, I brought home a mini Chocolate Cream and a mini Brumble Berry. They were both delicious, but the Brumble Berry was our favorite. But what stole the show was the Salted Caramel Pecan Pie Bar. Wish I would have purchased 100 of these:). We will be back!

Shelly H.

Yelp
The Peanut Butter Pie and the Pecan Pie were excellent. Can't wait to go back and try more!
google avatar

Tes H.

Yelp
Great pies. They make everything from scratch - which I really appreciate. I do think it's VERY overpriced. ($9.53 was my total for a single serve mini pie). The pie crust is almost pastry flaky, rather than a food pie crust flake. I didn't like that as well. The cherry pie filling was much too sweet (and I adore sugar so that's saying a lot). I had to buy milk when I got home just to cut the sweetness between bites! Still 4 stars for this unique little bakery. I ate every bit of the pie in two sittings. And I can't complain much about my personal preferences when this is still homemade goodness. And they compost! They also have a cute little shop inside to buy gifts and baking utensils. Adds something unique to this place compared to other bakeries.

Yelp
My daughter bought me one of their cutie pies for my birthday. It was absolutely decadent! I got to go to this little ma and pa shop nestled in Downtown Overland Park a few weeks later to pick up a cutie pie for my daughter's birthday and also grabbed a pecan pie for a treasured rescue volunteer knowing it is her hubby's favorite. Upper Crust smells like heaven and the staff was so welcoming that I did not want to leave. The pies were a hit!

Yelp
Best pie in KC area! Not the least expensive but my go to for those family holiday needs. Also have great home made cookies.

MaryMichael S.

Yelp
Best Pies in the City. Their Apple Pie is incredible. I have never been an Apple Pie fan until our dear neighbor gave us an Upper Crust Apple Pie for Christmas one year. Every single pie we have ever had from Upper Crust is incredible. Apple, Cherry, Peach etc... Owners/Staff are very helpful and welcoming. Love this local business!! Worth every penny!!

Yelp
The BEST pie shop I have ever been too! I have been going here for over a year and strongly recommend the brown sugar banana sugar cookie. I have never had a bad experience here and it is a must do in KC. The team is so sweet and the rotation of pie flavors is wonderful! I can't wait to keep coming back!
google avatar

Keith F.

Yelp
The pies are always good and they typically have a couple unique flavors. You can buy by the slice so you don't have to commit to one flavor. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Pie. Need I say more? Looking for a dessert option? Want to satisfy your sweet tooth? Maybe just something to take home to the fam, or to liven up an office potluck? Yeah, you can reach the summit of any of your climbs by visiting this cozy bakery in downtown OP. Founded by sisters (Elaine and Jan) who know a thing or two about baking fabulous pies and pastries, Upper Crust is in its second decade of pie excellence in the surging downtown OP area. Always offering an array of usual suspects, Upper Crust also does an outstanding job of seasonal favorites and creations. This past fall, one of their masterpieces was a 'Wild Turkey' pie, which was a collision of pecan pie, chocolate chips, and a hint of bourbon (sinfully delicious). Apple and berry pies are almost always on the list of choices, and not just your everyday pies (raspberry/rhubarb?). Pies are regular size, and usually run $12-$14, or you can do a 'cutie pie', an $8 individual size (which theoretically could be shared, but let's be serious, that's not going to happen). Pie can be warmed and served ala mode if you're staying in, or wrapped to go if you have the requisite restraint. Fun fact: every third Friday of a month (except December) has an event called 'Flight Night'. What kind of pie magic is this? you may ask. Think samples on lock: a 'flight' is three slices of their current menu offerings, all for $10. Or you can get saucy and do a pair of flights (affectionately known as a 'round trip') and try the whole menu. Pro tip: get there *early* (Flight Night runs from 5-8 or earlier if sold out) because you will stand in line. For pie. Without shame. Also part of the framework is a great sampling of boutique-y kitchen and home items. Kind of like the entry of a Cracker Barrel, but with, uh, taste. Many items are locally made and one of a kind, so you are shopping and supporting local, and then socking back pie. [See also: winning]. It's a must try. And don't wait about.

Yelp
What a wonderful experience! I am not exactly sure how I happened upon this place but I am so thankful that I did. I came by the bakery on Saturday afternoon, was greeted with smiles when I first came in and the two young ladies who are working behind the counter were very very helpful. I say smiles, they were smiling behind their masks I promise. They asked me if I needed any assistance and I told them that I knew what I wanted because I had looked it up on the website. They were very nice and very helpful. I was excited to get a cherry pie, apple pie, and a Keylime pie. My parents and I really enjoyed our pies and I cannot wait to get my father a full sugar free apple pie for our next family event. What a wonderful business, I cannot wait to support this establishment again.

Yelp
THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE. I've always liked pie more than cake and never knew there were bakeries that specifically only made pies until I found this place. You'll immediately notice the smell of fresh pies as soon as you walk into this place. They have many pie flavors and always have a rotating selection to get slices for $5. They have regular sized pies for ~$28 and smaller sized ones called cuties pies for ~$8. I had a phase over the past year where I came here every week and got enough to last a week before I would go again. I would bring these pies to any social gatherings and family events if I was able to. I ate enough pie that my pie cravings slowed down, but now they are coming back. My favorite flavors are blueberry, butterscotch meringue, brown sugar buttermilk, and cinnamon cream. I think their cinnamon pie is seasonal around fall time cause that's actually what caused my pie cravings last year and led me to keep coming here. They also sell quiche pies and cookies. I haven't tried their cookies yet but their quiche pies are delicious. Really flavorful and hard to stop eating. I ate 1/2 of their corn and bacon quiche pie before I remembered I was suppose to share it with my family. They have pie flights every 3rd Friday of each month where you get to choose three flavors for $9-10. I think they recently increased it to $10. Heads up, people line up for their pies, especially on pie flight Fridays. You can also pre-order pies as it gets closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas. But wow people go crazy over their pies to eat for Thanksgiving. Last year, my friend wanted some for his family and I was free to go early cause they make extra pies for the people that didn't pre-order. I went 30 minutes early and there was a long line already. They will limit you to 3 pies if you didn't pre-order and one flavor was already sold out by the time I was at the front of the line. So if you really want their pie for the holidays, I highly suggest you to pre-order. It's worth it. Their prices are a little high, especially if you end up going there every week like me. But at the same time, the quality of the pies makes up for it. All their pie flavors taste good so you won't go wrong with whatever flavor you choose. Seriously, I got so spoiled by their pies that I haven't eaten pies made from anywhere else.
google avatar

Mike W.

Yelp
Definitely worth a visit whenever you find yourself in the area, even just for the free smells. Coffee, pie, cookies and a gift shop. Any time I eat anywhere in Downtown OP I stop in here for a pecan bar (usually another treat as well) afterwards.

Matt H.

Yelp
Love the pie. Pie pie pie. Cutest little shop with the best cookies, bars, and of course PIE. Get you some

James M.

Yelp
Nice little pie shop in Downtown OP! These pies and cookies are very good! I have only been there once but it was a great experience. Prices are higher but it is a specialty shop and you pay for quality so keep that in mind. It is awesome.
google avatar

Cyndy E.

Yelp
Loved that they are a small pie shop in the KC area. I love their pies, I've pretty much bight all small pies and tried them individually. I love all of them and I can't choose!

Yelp
Big big fan of the Upper Crust. I didn't get a picture because I ate too quickly. Perfect place to stop at for a quick dessert. I have had the lemon curd and berry pie. Both were delicious. The lemon curd was the best I have had. Served chilled it was so refreshing and crisp. I will be back just for the lemon curd pie. It's all worth noting that there is almost always a line. Don't let that make you pass up a piece of dessert. The line moves very quickly because the staff is friendly and quick.
google avatar

Stacia G.

Yelp
Wow just waking by this place will make you crave pie! You smell butter and crust the minute you walk past. My friends brought me here for a pie breakfast- lol. Ok I had a few bites of shared pie and managed to have some quiche also. (Also quite amazing!) we sampled the chocolate with meringue top, bumble berry, apple caramel, and pecan! (There was 5 of us!! So a "shared" experience!) Not much pie left... not for lack of trying. It's a small spot so hard to squeeze in - some room in front of it's not too cold. Run, walk, eat in- or out- but go!
google avatar

Dorian O.

Yelp
Voted best bakery in Kansas for a reason. This crust is light, flaky and buttery. The creative team comes up with some unique and delicious pies. The buttermilk cranberry is creamy tart goodness. The key lime had all the pucker power balanced with perfect sweetness. Peach Raspberry was a surprisingly good fruit pie. These pies are pricey but worth it. I strongly recommend the mini pies, they feed more than what they look like.
google avatar

Sonia K.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of the Upper Crust. While I had never visited pre-pandemic I started ordering the pie flights (3 slices for $10 during the third Friday of the month) throughout the pandemic. I have thoroughly enjoyed the pie flights. They've allowed me to try an array of UC pies. LOVE the coconut custard pie and I dream of trying key lime/lemon meringue . I've always picked up pie flights via a distanced and mask drive-thru, but I recently stopped in to buy a mini-pie for a friend. The service was kind and courteous. What more can I say? Run don't walk to the Upper Crust.
google avatar

Monica E.

Yelp
Third Friday of every month it's $9 pie flights! For this lovely price you get 3 pie slices, you can mix and match between six options or select 3 of the same. I like berry pies and chose raspberry peach and Dutch apple pie. The crust was crumbly and perfectly melts in your mouth. The fruit was fresh and tasted amazing, definitely flavors I enjoyed and would try again. Thankfully they offer coffee choices! I really enjoyed my visit and my iced coffee. The space is small but charming. They also sell cute knickknacks such as coasters, measuring cups, tea cups, and tea pots. Everything is adorable! There is seating but it's a small space and can get crowded, I recommend getting your pies to go and enjoying them at the courtyard around the corner.

Yelp
Superior service, but the cookies stand by themselves! The salted pecan bar is absolutely delicious. Taste just like a pecan pie.

Yelp
Amazing aroma hits one as soon as the door opens. We shared the Lemon curd pie slice and a Bumbleberry cutie a la mode. Unbelievably delicious. The lemon curd was just the right blend of tart and sweet. The bumbleberry (blackberry, blueberry, raspberry and apple) was scrumptious. The flaky crusts were made with love. And the shop is simply adorable! A fun display of cute items, even the restroom is whimsically cute. Can't wait to come back for another slice.

Yelp
Did you know that on the third friday of the month... this little pie shop does flights of pie? That is right... swing in and grab your flight! Oh they also have wine! So imagine a quick beginning to the weekend with three slices of pie and a glass of rose!

Yelp
Thank goodness this place is located across town from me, because I STILL manage to go there all the time! Why? Because their pastries are made with some serious LOVE n' BUTTA! You are welcomed with the same sweetness, as the treats that they offer. You can get everything from just a slice of pie, to a cookie, to one of their delectable bars, paired with some delicious coffee. Not only do they offer yummy treats, but they also offer great pie/baking related gifts, jewelery and tokens. You just can't go wrong with this place, especially since it's centered in the wonderfully walkable downtown Overland Park neighborhood. Anything from Upper Crust will turn a bad day, to a great day and a good day, to a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious one! ;)
