The Upstate Table

We worked with Rebecca for our micro-wedding at Shandaken Inn and could not be happier with our choice. When our initial event had to be cancelled due to COVID, she was incredibly helpful and understanding, which is why we were so happy we could still work with her the second time around when we finally decided on a new date. Our cake was not only beautiful but also absolutely delicious! Rebecca really took great care and time to learn about our overall vision for the day and preferences taste-wise. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a thoughtfully made wedding cake in the upstate area.

We worked with Rebecca for our elopement cake and a second cake for a small party with our friends. Both cakes were BEAUTIFUL and delicious. (I still think about them.) Before choosing our cake flavors, we had a tasting in The Upstate Table’s gorgeous studio and it was a blast. Rebecca was amazing to work with and the cakes we tried were all so unique.. my parents still talk about what a wonderful experience it was. Hosted a private pasta-making workshop at The Upstate Table for a group of friends, and had an incredible experience! Rebecca was the right blend of detail-oriented to keep us on track, while letting us enjoy the space. She was friendly, and the food she prepared (in addition to what we made) was locally-sourced, fresh, and delicious! Such a beautiful space, also.

Rebecca hosted us at a corporate event for 20 senior executives from around the world. She was fantastic! We had a great time. Our time at the Upstate Table was the best event of the week. We ate very well. Laughed - A Lot. And even learned a little :) in spite of ourselves. It was a wonderful evening. I would highly encourage you to visit, if you get a chance. As a group event, this can't be beat. Our team meets regularly and in all kinds of exotic locations, so their expectations were high. Rebecca exceeded all of those. Many said they couldn't recall a better activity at any meeting. Wow. Rebecca is a star, a personality and charming. Your group will love her. The facility itself is really great - modern, spacious and very comfortable. And the food they bring out is delicious! Try them. Good Place. Good Food. Good People. You can't go wrong.

We had a tasting with the owner while she was opening her shop. She said she would get back to us with a new quote ( due to prices rising in baking supplies , which no other baker has said to us) . For months we waited while she posited several times a week On social media and we still To this day have never received a quote or reply back. Also during our tasting the cake was served very cold and right out Of the fridge. We had our tasting planned for a while no reason not to have time to defrost cake.
