Our family had an unforgettable stay at this hotel in Niseko! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. The receptionist (Coco) went above and beyond, offering free pick-up and drop-off in the Kutchan area, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The staff were always friendly and ready to assist with any request. Their warm hospitality made our trip even more special.||The highlight of our stay was the private onsen in our room—a perfect way to relax after a day in the snow. The onsen was clean, well-maintained, and provided a truly authentic Japanese experience.||The hotel itself was cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything our family needed. ||If you’re looking for a family-friendly stay in Niseko with top-notch service and the luxury of a private onsen, this is the perfect place. We can’t wait to return!

We had an incredible stay at this hotel in Niseko! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The hotel is perfect for families, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that made our trip even more special. One of the standout aspects of our stay was the exceptional service by Lisa, Monique & Polly (the concierge team) and Coco (the duty manager). The team went the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed, making our vacation stress-free and enjoyable. A special highlight was their complimentary drop-off service to Kobo Niseko, which made exploring the area so convenient. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, perfect for families looking for a relaxing retreat after a day on the slopes. The on-site amenities added to the overall experience, making it a great place to unwind. We truly appreciate the kindness and effort of the staff, and without a doubt, we will be back on our next visit to Niseko. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a warm, family-friendly stay with outstanding service!

Thank you we loved our stay at The Vale, and loved the onsens. The Vale is a fabulous property well located in Hirafu to the snow (on snow, ski in), restaurants, shops, bus stops, food trucks, Seicomart. Our studio room was beautifully furnished, with a small kitchenette including a Nespresso machine. Breakfast was a set menu, with good coffee and cafe style breakfasts. Our favourite was the Breakfast Bowl. I have to say the absolute highlight for us was the staff who were always happy, helpful and fully committed to great customer service. There was always a great vibe in the reception area and the team were super helpful no matter what we asked of them. Whoever is in charge of recruitment and training for The Vale has nailed it. Special thanks to Kelly, Matilda, Jack, Will, Polly - thanks for your recommendations, our lifts, laughing at the reception lollies pranks and the extra coffee pods, and also huge thanks to our housekeeping team - Lesley, Aya and Migao. We had a wonderful stay. Have a great rest of the season.

I recently stayed at The Vale in Niseko for a ski trip with my son, girlfriend, and a friend, and we all had an absolutely wonderful time. First off, we were lucky enough to experience perfect snow conditions, which set the tone for an amazing trip. Beyond that, The Vale exceeded our expectations with its fantastic accommodations, relaxing onsen, and exceptional service from both the staff and concierge. Having an in-house ski shop was a huge convenience, and the staff there were incredibly helpful. They also arranged a ski guide for us and seamlessly handled our outbound transportation to Sapporo Airport. Everything was so well-organized and enjoyable that I’d definitely consider returning to The Vale or exploring other accommodations affiliated with them in the future. Highly recommend!

The Vale is an awesome hotel to stay - close to the skilift with a rental shop next to it, a really hot onsen - perfect for relaxing after a ski day and very kind staff. Thank you, Coco & Marco for the great service. Thanks to you, it was possible to extend our stay smoothly. We are very happy about this extension and will come back for sure. Thank you Louis, for driving us. We felt very well taken care of. Also big thanks to the cleaning staff - the room was always perfectly tidy and clean. Recommend 10/10

Stayed here for a week whilst skiing with my family, and thought it was a great option for someone looking to stay in Niseko with ski in and out. The room which we stayed in had two bedrooms with king beds, separate tatami room, two bathrooms and kitchen+lounge. The rooms were modern and well kept. The service here is also good with the staff being kind and attentive, as they also give you an introductory tour upon check in. There is ski storage lockers in the basement which are large enough to store several snowboards and skis. The onsite rental shop is also great with one of the staff helping me out when I lost a screw from my snowboard; really a trip saver! Australian guy with a beard/mustache, great bloke. Overall this is a great location in Niseko with it being walkable to several food options and only a minute walk to the nearest lift!

This was our second time staying at the Vale, Niseko and we love this hotel. It has a boutique and luxury feel. The hotel has a great location at the bottom of the hill with a chair. Ski in ski out, but between both top and bottom half of town for restaurant options. A block from Family marts and food trucks. Shuttle to Hanazono right out front. The rooms are incredible, especially the three bedroom private onsen. It has ruined us for future holidays! Having a washing machine and dryer available was a saviour. The rooms are modern, lounge room was big, dining table huge and the Onsen was incredible! Having heated hallway cupboard was great. Tip: it would be awesome if sodastreams were available. Tip: an option for the rooms to be cleaned daily not every few days would be great, or at least a quick vacuum and bins emptied. The bins are tiny and travelling with kids you eat in a lot. There is a vacuum available - However, we have not paid 15k for a week to vacuum ourselves. The car service was a real special touch especially having to get toddlers to and from the King Gondola base for ski lessons each day. We had the wonderful Tilly (Matilda) regularly drive us to collect the kids and their gear, to restaurants and to the ski hire stores. She was an absolute delight, professional and made our trip! Thankyou Tilly (and other staff who helped) This service was a real special thing and made travelling around a ski town with toddlers seamless! We would have walked or used the lift outside if we didn't have them, but without this service, I am sure there would have been many toddler tantrums and stressed parents. The concierge and front desk were very helpful with many of our questions! Having our ski passes organised and available on arrival was great! it would be awesome if they could organise the ones for three year olds as well. Nisade organised our transfers, they were also great! We had our ski gear sent to the hotel ahead of our arrival and it was all available in our room as soon as we arrived. The ski in ski out is fantastic for the adults! The large three bedroom room with a HUGE dining table is a massive plus for those travelling with smaller children. The hotel is very close to convience stores and food trucks which made dinner easy to collect and have inside for the stress free option! Whilst having a beautiful view of people night skiing! and Being able to retire to the onsen whilst they were in the living room. I would recommend that the lockers become heated for ski boots. Otherwise the lockers and ski racks are good. My only real complaint has been the restaurant, and this is consistent with our previous experience in 2020, which is dissapointing. My understanding is that the vale does not run it, however it does use its name and is attached. Therefore, I feel like the Nisade/The vale need to consider the impact and running of the restaurant. The service was slow and not what I would expect from a hotel of this calibar. We struggled to get service whilst staff had knocked off and sat at the bar drinking and talking to other staff working. We experienced the same thing in previous stays. After a long wait for meals, one kids meal came out 20 mins before the next kids meal came out. We had to ask for the second kids meal and the middle of the burger bun was frozen, so then we had to wait longer for a new one. A restaurant should always get kids meals out together and quickly!! (and not cold) The service certaintly does not match the cost of food and drinks. Another time we were told "sorry we didnt know you were here" after being seated by another staff member in the bsckroom and then having to go find someone to take our order- twice. Both times we were given free drinks or something to apologise for service, so they were aware. However, it would be great to see changes to the culture/service because they do not match the cost of the restaurant or the hotel.
