The food tasted just okay here. We got the Humboldt Squid, Garlic Bread, and the Clam Chowder soup for our appetizers. I highly recommend the Squid, the sauce was really good and paired really well. For our mains we got the Halibut Fish & Chips which had a really big portion and worth the money, but the coleslaw was pretty bland. The Seafood Linguini was just okay as well. The service really made up for the experience though! They had a promo for 50% certain wine bottles on Tuesdays & Wednesdays at the time of our visit.

First time coming here and it was an absolute joy. We did the tasting menu and everything was perfectly balanced and worked together quite nicely. The mussels also incredible 20/10 Our server was incredible and also from winnipeg which hit right at home ♡ Chris was an absolute gem, so sweet and very passionate about what he does. We will be back to enjoy the atmosphere and food. Hopefully Chris will be here when we come back.

My husband brought me here for our early Valentines Date. We chose the three course meal, and it was awesome. For our appetizers, our shrimps and soup were delicious. We were blown away by our main course meals: lobster from Maine and a steak, which were cook to perfection. Lastly, our chocolate deserts were warm and savoury. To top it off, we got the best service from Krista. It was a memorable night.

I went to this restaurant once a few years ago and had a good first impression. This time I took some visiting family friends here for an early dinner. We were a group of four and they gave us a more roomy table with our own booth as I was quite pregnant at that time. Not all restaurants would do that, and we appreciated it. We ordered four different main and everyone was happy with their food. I had fish and chip, and the portion was larger than expected. Tea was served in a nice tea pot. The restaurant also looked quite nice inside. Overall, quite good value for a pleasant dining experience.

It’s a very pleasant and cozy place. Family friendly, they have a kids menu. Meals are quite big so one portion of chicken wings will be enough for two kids. Now we know why we’d been asked about number of portions for kids )) We ordered tuna poke for husband and scallops for me. All food was so delicious! Enjoyed this place a lot.

Very disappointed with both the food and the service tonight. The scallops were overcooked, and the halibut was tough. The food was so dry that my dad needed extra water. It took a long time to locate the waiter to request hot water, and after asking, we saw her chatting at another table instead of refilling it. No one checked on our table, and we were largely ignored throughout the night. We came to celebrate my dad’s 81st birthday and informed the staff upon arrival. Unfortunately, no dessert menu or birthday dessert was offered. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I don’t think I will be returning.

A well-known seafood spot on Granville Island. They’re running an Autumn Prix Fixe menu plus a lobster special, so we decided to stop by for lunch. We arrived around 1:30pm; the restaurant was busy but we were seated right away. Our server was patient and walked us through the menu. The food was excellent. The seafood chowder was rich and flavourful, the wild-caught salmon was perfectly pan-fried and not overcooked, and the hard-shell lobster was the star of the meal. Overall, everything was delicious and we left very happy. Highly recommended.

Pretty good service, nice atmosphere and food was good. Bit over priced for dine out menu for what you get. Lobster bisque lack pieces of lobster and shrimp was a bit salty.

We came here for Dineout Vancouver 2025. I tried the seafood chowder. It tasted more like a potato soup with a little bit of seafood in it. The seafood Hotpot was light. While the seafood was fresh, there was nothing special about it. It came with rice, but the rice felt a bit stale. The lobster was tender and delicious. The raspberry cream posset was flavourful and light with great texture. Service was excellent, and ambiance was comfortable and inviting.

Came by for lunch for the seafood tasting menu for 2 persons with a $99 Travelzoo voucher. Reserved a booth with a view and got that...perfect start to lunch. I had looked at the sample menu previously when I purchased the voucher and thought they may give us options of the first course et al...but no it was everything on the sample menu. Started off with all the of the first courses: Maple Walnut Prawns, Mussels, Tuna Tataki and Smoked Bison Tartare...and with bread for dipping into the amazing mussel broth. Wow. The bison tartare was so good...melted in your mouth like butter. And the maple walnut prawns are one of the dishes they are known for...understandable once you have them. Next was the Squid Ink Tagliatelle and Chickpea Salad. Loved the vinaigrette on the salad and it was nice and light to partner with the pasta. The Whole Rainbow Trout was served with brussel sprouts, grilled carrots and roasted potatoes. The presentation and taste were amazing and we could only make it through about 1/2 the fish and vegetables. Opted to pack the sticky toffee pudding and try the Chocolate Torte. Another wow. Again, the taste and presentation were off the charts. Loved the way the hazelnut brittle complimented the mocha gelato and torte. Think we ended up packing 1/2 the meal. David was our server and he did a great job...very professional, personable and attentive. It was a very positive food experience and happy to recommend The Vancouver Fish Company for their Seafood Tasting Menu.

Stopped for lunch and had a great experience. There was no wait, the food was fast, service was great, and reasonably priced. The feel was classic seaside with nautical airs. The most impressive was the food. The fish and chips were the best I've ever had. Kudos to the chef!

My friends and I came for the November $45 3 course deal. I was not hungry so didn't order the 3 course meal. I ordered the octopus appetizer and it was delicious and tender. It was just the right portion size as a light meal. My husband didn't order the 3 course either but instead he ordered the sablefish over risotto. Although he said it was tasty but super disappointed with the small piece of sablefish when it was $48! All our friends who ordered the 3 course meal were very happy with their selection - salmon, octopus over pasta, scallops and pork belly. Service was a bit slow that night as it was a busy night.

Went to Vancouver Fish Company twice in 3 days. Once for work and once for my brother-in-law's birthday. The $45 Price Fixe offers tremendous value for a great 3 course. It's a beautiful restaurant and Granville Island is pretty magical at night! For appies, tried their maple walnut prawns which were fantastic! Super crispy and loved the maple glaze giving it some nice sweetness. Loved their Humboldt squid which was also deep fried with a lemongrass nuoc cham sauce. Loved the flavours and you can't go wrong with either. For mains, their Hokkaido scallops and pork belly were fantastic. The apple cider jus was excellent to bring out the flavours of both. Tried their octopus orecchiette which was also good. Needed a bit more seasoning/salt for my taste buds though. Their desserts were both great so it depends on what you're in the mood for. The milk tea panna cotta is smooth, creamy and tastes like bubble tea (without the pearls). The pumpkin toffee pudding is rich and decadent. I'd likely give it the edge as it's a very generous serving ;)

Solid seafood fare with great views in Granville Island. I've come here once for dinner and once for lunch, and I was surprised by how different the ambiance was during the two times. The food is a touch below the quality I was expecting, but the taste is great nonetheless. The fish is never overcooked, and the pastas I've had here are also cooked very well. Portion size is on the smaller side, and none of the dishes were particularly memorable, but it is solid food and a restaurant I find myself feeling more fondly about than any other sit-down places in Granville Island.

We loved The Vancouver Fish Company so much we went back twice during our trip--thanks to the incredible maple butter shrimp. Seriously, this dish alone is worth the visit. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, with the maple butter sauce adding a rich, sweet-savory flavor that was absolutely addictive. Food While the maple butter shrimp stole the show, the rest of the menu didn't disappoint. The seafood is fresh and well-prepared, showcasing local flavors in every bite. It's clear they put a lot of thought into their dishes, and it pays off. Ambiance The location on Granville Island is perfect, with lovely views of the marina that make for a relaxing backdrop. The ambiance inside is warm and inviting, striking a balance between casual and upscale--ideal for both a romantic dinner or a meal with friends. Overall If you're looking for standout seafood in Vancouver, The Vancouver Fish Company should be high on your list. Between the amazing food (don't skip the maple butter shrimp!), the great location, and the inviting atmosphere, this place checks all the boxes.

Just a brief stop in for drinks on their deck to watch boats. The view is incredible if you're into boat watching. We loved our server- very friendly and did not seem put out we were taking up a table for just a drink. We had the Not Your Average Mai Tai and Queen of Argyll- both of which were tasty and well made!! They also offer a "choose your own ad-gin-ture where you can build your own gin based craft cocktail. They have 6 gins and 5 mixers to choose from. I'm not a gin drinker but if you are it looks like a great opportunity. They also offer mocktails for the sober among us.

Came here while checking out the Granville Island area. Seemed like a nice spot on the pier along the water. Luckily it was Dine out Vancouver Festival, a festival similar to Restaurant Week where restaurants have a specific menu with lowered prices. We started with both of their oyster offerings, east and west coast, just for comparison. They were both good and very fresh, but I think I preferred the west coast a little better; A little cleaner and briny tasting. The east coast were more meaty and had a stronger seafood flavor to them. My friend preferred the east cost better, so just depends on your taste. House red wine was delicious, slightly sweet, fruity, not too much tannins. The (Dine out Vancouver) 3 course meal was $54. I chose the Cajun Prawns for my appetizer, surf and turf for my meal and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The Cajun prawns were delicious! The prawns were marinated and seasoned well, they were very tasty and had a nice, but not overpowering citrus flavor. They were expertly cooked, there was a nice snap and crunch on the outside, yet it was soft and tender. The lemon crema, cotija cheese and cilantro complimented the flavor of the prawns. The Cajun sofrito had a good soft texture but was rather bland, I didn't get much Cajun flavor. I'd prefer if it was grits or polenta but it was very similar. The surf and turf came with pork belly and seared scallops. The pork belly was tender and had a nice crust on the outside, maybe deep-fried? The scallops were nicely seared, tender inside and nice sear on both sides. The apple jus added a nice subtle sweetness to the dish while the pumpkin seeds added a nice texture. The Brussel sprouts, winter squash and sun chokes were nice veg that complemented both the pork belly and scallops. I enjoyed this very much. The sticky toffy pudding was ok. The sponge was made from winter squash, topped with bourbon caramel and sour cream whip. It was good but didn't wow me. I think a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top woulda been perfect. I tried my friends "Oreo" Panna Cotta, it was delicious! Perfect consistency, not too stiff or soft, almost like a custard. It was a perfect sweetness, the "Oreo" topping was recreated with chocolate short bread crumbles. I'd recommend this over the sticky toffee pudding. We came for lunch and didn't need a reservation, I'd assume you'd need one for dinner as the area is quite busy and the restaurant isn't that large. There is seating outside but it was quite cold. The Granville Island area is quite busy as its very popular among tourists and locals alike so there was quite a bit of traffic in the area and parking was scarce. We found a paid parking lot about a block away in what looked like a residential building, totally worth avoiding driving around for awhile the crowded streets. We got lucky to try this place with the Dine out Vancouver menu, which included a 1 pound Nova Scotia lobster. It was such a great deal.

Gayle and I recently took Jim and Erin out for dinner at this Granville Island location to say thank you for allowing us to stay with them at their World Mark Condo. Erin and Jim had been here previously and recommended that we return. This was also dinner before seeing the nearby "Ring of Fire" play at nearby Arts Club Theater. CONS 1. Our deck (with a view) seating was little too warm and bright for my taste. +/- 1. While I'm nursing my single drink for the evening (self imposed quota), the rest of our party orders 2 bottles of wine and a pitcher of beer between them! We all enjoyed our adult beverages and the final bill (food and alcohol) did get our attention. 2. My Mussels were tasty with a nice sauce. However, they should have come with fries and more bread. PROS 1. Nice deck table with a view. 2. Great Waiter (Pierre) - Professional, attentive, funny, etc. etc. 3. Tasty food choices. Jim had Fish and Chips and Erin went for the Lobster. I don't remember Gayle's choice other than she enjoyed it.

Quick and easy service. Food was good and refreshing. They have pretty good oysters, came here for a snack. The mussels were good definitely gotta use the bread to dip in the sauce. Came when it wasn't too packed which was great I hear this place can get packed and hard to get a table at times so we lucked out.

Staff was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. Beautiful view and super cute in the evening with the outdoor patio and lights. Highly recommend coming during normal happy hour or late night happy hour as they have both drink and snacks or entrees on happy hour.

It was a Friday night and we had reservations and we were seated immediately. I did wish our table was not the first table when entering the dining room as staff and guests walked around our table throughout the night. The restaurant was busy with all tables full and felt like everyone was celebration the weekend, birthday, or just enjoying company with family and friends. I love this restaurant is in Granville Island which is lovely Vancouver location for tourist and locals. It was Dine Out Vancouver Festival 2024 and we came to check out their DOV menu - $54 for a three course dinner which includes a 1 lb whole Nova Scotia lobster! We had: Appetizer: Inari Pocket and Humbolt Squid Entree: We both chose 1 lb Whole Nova Scotia Lobster Dessert: Oreo Panna Cotta and Sticky Toffee Pudding The service was wonderful with the staff checking us with each dish and ensuring our water glass was never empty. I will definitely come back to try other dishes!

So after going here many times, had my first poor experience. Ordered HH mussels and 2 out of the first three were gritty - not cleaned properly. Bartender replaced - first taste had a bunch of sand. Didn't eat the bread or frites I ordered. Meanwhile observed several orders of mussels going back to the kitchen. Maybe 86 the mussels, and while they took the mussels off the bill - a gesture above that would have been appreciated. One of the management team was adjacent to me at the bar as was I believe the KM - neither were remotely interested. Shame as I was going there once or twice a week and recommended to many.

The Vancouver Fish Company was the perfect place for my wife and I to finish our tour of Granville Island. The restaurant was decorated very nicely and nautical themed, but we had the best seats in the house. We went on a beautiful sunny, but breezy day and sat outside. There were stunning views of the water, which really complimented our delicious seafood. We happened to go during happy hour and that was a treat! There we got draught beers for $6 and glasses of wine for $8. Our favorite things on the menu were the fresh shucked oysters ($2.50 each) and the seafood linguini (delicious tomato cream sauce). We would definitely go back!

Happy Hour Review Decided to spend the day in Granville Island, lots to see, eat and do here. It was around 4pm and we were down for Happy Hour, walked past this place earlier in the day and noticed their menu! We were promptly greeted by 2 hostess and asked if we preferred in or out, well it was a beautiful day in Vancouver so we wanted out, plus the view of the harbor was quite beautiful. Here's the HH Menu 3-5pm Sips House wine red/white Draught Beer Highballs Bites Oysters Prawns Mussels Halibut bites Prawn Cocktail Caesar Salad Mains Wild Salmon Seafood Linguini Striploin We were still full from lunch so we opted for the Oysters and Mussels both absolutely delicious the mussels were Salt Spring Island mussels served with chorizo and creamed leeks all this needed was a beautiful piece of crusty bread to soak up the amazing broth! Oysters was refreshing, light briny taste with a hint sweetness!

Great sit down restaurant on Granville Island. Nice indoor and outdoor seating with views and a breeze on a hot Summer day. We grabbed some lunch in-between shopping and walking around. Limited menu but all great choices. All four of us ordered the same thing, fish and chips. It's not often you get halibut! Very fresh fish with a nice delicate beer batter. Tartar sauce was very interesting, definitely house made and tasty. Most times fish and chips are very overwelming with portions. This was just perfect especially since we didn't want any doggy bags to carry back to the mainland. Prices were reasonable for such fresh seafood Service was great considering it was peak lunch hour and they were very crowded. Quickly sat us at a nice table and food was quick to come out. Definitely recommend trying out this place. When in Vancouver you must visit Granville, check out this restaurant.

Great location and views. Service started off strong then got super slow, 30 minute + wait for dessert on a set menu. Expensive and the food was alright. somethings barely cooked. All in all, three stars. probably won't go again.

The Vancouver Fish Company was the first place my wife and I ever patronized, during our first ever trip together to B.C., so it holds a special place in our hearts. Granted, our two fleeting sojourns here has been mostly to grab a drink after a long drive up from Portland, taking in the warm spring/summer sun and gorgeous views of the harbor, but both visits have been stellar from start to finish. On both visits, our servers have been remarkably attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Dockside tables outside offer a phenomenal view of greenish-blue water and a veritable sea of sails: the vessels of the idle rich at anchor in the adjacent marina; within, the atmosphere is appropriately reminiscent of a restaurant at a yacht club, although less exclusive and more welcoming, dimly yet warmly lit mostly by ambient light from windows granting views of the full-to-brimming docks on one side, and wave after wave of endless tourists (such as ourselves) heading deeper into the island interior on the other. A significant selection of quality wines, skillfully crafted cocktails, and upscale entrées, although our experience with the cuisine here has been limited to the bison tartare: a curiosity I'd never tried before, and consumed alone, as the idea of raw red meat doesn't sit well with my wife. Other than a slightly unusual texture that likely becomes more palatable with repeat exposure, it was delicious: the shallots, capers, and mustard tie it all together, and it spreads wonderfully on the accompanying garlic bread, which was fresh, crispy and chewy, as all good garlic bread should be! Granville Island may be an attraction unto itself, but the Vancouver Fish Company is a major component in upholding the standard of excellence we have come to expect, and enjoy here, and of Canada in general. You already have a reason to come; this fine-dining establishment is a reason to stay.

Love this place. So much, we did a repeat dinner on our vacay. The service was amazing and the staff was super friendly. We sat outside the first visit overlooking the water, pier and beautiful scenery. Our second visit we opted to sit inside as it was raining--which it rained a lot during our visit to Vancouver. The cool weather made it the perfect atmosphere for soups and cocktails at the restaurant. I don't think I have to say this, but we will return and recommend to our friends traveling.

I thought that their seafood platter would be quite unique as it had a variety of hot seafood which isn't type as most place offer chilled items. The Vancouver Fish Company does as well but I decided to go for the hot option. I was a bit underwhelmed of the amount of food that came with such a big price tag and that the fish was dry and overcooked. The potatoes and veggies were quite bland but the crab legs and scallops were succulent. The service is on the slower side as they are quite packed being on the infamous Granville island and receiving a lot of foot traffic; especially during the summer, it's best to make a reservation ahead of time. If you're a fan of clam chowder then make sure to grab their white based seafood chowder packed with fish and other seafood along with clams of course. My general rule is to steer away from "turf" dishes at fish spots and I think that might be a good rule of thumb for this place in particular.

Knowing Vancouver is known for their seafood and being a fish & chips lover, I figured a place called The Vancouver Fish Company would have killer seafood. We sat out on the patio that overlooks the marina. The ambiance was quite nice, except...we saw multiple mice scampering about. When I went to tell one of the waitresses, she just sort of shrugged her shoulders and said "we're on the marina, there's nothing we can really do about it." Seeing as the inside had open sliding doors straight onto the patio, there's no way those mice aren't making their way inside the restaurant and probably to the kitchen. I don't think a health inspector would accept that excuse and plenty of restaurants have outdoor dining on the water and don't deal with mice. I suppose a review after this is kind of pointless. Hard to recommend a place that has mice roaming freely, but if you're OK with that, here were my other thoughts lol: Our server was very kind and food came out pretty quick. We had made it in time for Late Night Happy Hour, and he helpfully advised us how to each get fish and chips as cheaply as possible (as long as you don't mind sharing fries, order an extra piece of fish from the Happy Hour menu. It's cheaper than ordering the 2pc on the regular menu). We got the chickpea salad to start and we enjoyed that. Unfortunately, the fish and chips fell short. The fish and batter tasted good, but the batter was not crispy at all :(. That's what separates a great fish and chips from just mediocre fish and chips, and I was disappointed it wasn't better. I'm glad we paid the happy hour price for it, because the regular menu price would have definitely been too much for the quality of what was given.

Great service, great food and great view. Our waiter was super sweet and let us wait until happy hour. My friend and I shared a bunch of items from the happy hour menu. The caesar salad was super refreshing, just wish the croutons were softer. The 1 piece halibut was amazing and the breading was so thick and crunchy. The fries were too dense, wasn't worth the calories. The honey walnut prawns were delicious, the sweet and savory worked so well together. The oysters were absolutely fresh and super huge. I would 100% come back here!

Quite expensive and two of three of us became ill later that night after dining there (we had the same dish). Decent beer list.

I first came to this restaurant in October 2022 for my birthday when we were visiting Vancouver and I got the fish & chips while my girlfriend got the pasta. We also got the oysters as a starter. Fast forward to December 2023 and we were in Vancouver again this time for my girlfriend's birthday and of course we had to stop by this restaurant again. We literally had ordered the exact same stuff and even had the same server which was hilarious. Now the fish and chips is a MUST. I've had fish in chips on the East coast, in the Bay Area, Portland, London and a few more places I'm sure I'm missing but nothing can touch the quality and flavor of this place. Their halibut filet they use is game changer and if you are a big eater I recommend getting 2 of them because it is that good!! It's not overly greasy at all and the seasoning is perfect. The sauce they serve you with it is also to die for. Can't wait to come back to this place again soon!!

Great place for fish and chips or fish sandwich. Nice selection of beers as well. Quick service and plentiful seating inside.

All-around fantastic experience and food. David was our server, and he was both hilarious and caring. He wrote down a list of places he has personally eaten at and recommends when he found out we were visiting from SF. On top of the great hospitality, the food was delectable. The halibut was fried perfectly and not dry at all. The mussels were plump and the bread was garlicky. I am always impressed by how much seafood chowders have up here, instead of the usual boring creamy clam base that you get everywhere else. Highly recommend! The atmosphere is upscale enough for a nice date too, so don't sleep on this place as just a tourist joint.

We returned to The Vancouver Fish Company and once again had the best dining experience. We got there early and were the last to leave. The Vancouver Fish Company is my favorite restaurant at Granville Island and anywhere. For Happy Hour we had a good amount of food and drink for a very reasonable price. We shared a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, Caesar Salad, Halibut & Fries, and Chocolate Torte. We both had an Espresso Martini. My friend finished with a glass of red wine. I asked our server to surprise me with a cocktail. He made it himself, a concoction of gin, prosecco and some other ingredients. All the food and drink were exceptional but the surprise was unbelievable!!!! Light, refreshing and flavorful. The Vancouver Fish Company was busy with large parties and busy in general. We had the best service from Cole. He has charisma and we thought he resembled a combination of George Clooney and Gerard Butler. Thank you Cole and Vancouver Fish Company for another amazing dining experience!!!!!!!!

EXCELLENT all around! The service, the food and the view were all PERFECT! We enjoyed the Happy Hour apps and bevs. The Maple prawns were HUGE and tasty. Halibut bites were tender and delish. Brenna was so professional and on point. She provided the very best service. Danny, thanks again for the great staffing.

Excellent customer service! What we ordered for 2 people: Seafood Platter - a great variety of seafood, includes scallops, shrimp, salmon, & crab. Great dish if you're craving seafood in Granville Island Garlic Bread - so good that we ordered another one!

Good not great. This place has great views and it's just at the beginning of grainville island. There's many different seafood options as well as a couple non seafood options. They have a generous happy hour during the week and weekends. I had a glass of wine, Pinot Grigio from the happy hour menu for $9 CAN. It was pretty refreshing and it went well with the scallops. The scallops were a decent size and didn't have much of a sear. They could have used a bit more of flavor. Overall the dish was decent but not something I'm going to remember. The oysters were fresh and were also on the happy hour menu, minimum 6. I'd say check this place out for the nice ambience good views and friendly staff.

Needed a place with a patio (can't take chances with COVID this week) and Vancouver Fish Company was a great option. Fastest food service we've seen in years, especially with kids meals that we ordered just after sitting down. We had just enough time to choose and order for ourselves as parents and then a minute later the kids' meals came and shortly after, our fish 'n chips arrived! Gabriela was an amazing server! So pleasant and friendly. Handed us things like straws and a small fork using a napkin - what attention to detail and perfect for a germophobe mom. She also checked on us a lot which I really appreciated - there was no chance to feel forgotten or wonder where she was. She also has a beautiful smile! Our youngest enjoyed his linguine. He just told Gabriela it was "good" but to us he said it was "so yummy". It was messy but he ate most of it before getting full. Saw plates of nice food going past us - the lobster grilled cheese looked good and then the people beside us had good-looking oysters. Will maybe order the grilled cheese next time.

My boyfriend and I booked a reservation for their dineout menu! For about $58 per person we feel like we got such a good deal. Surf and turf which had pork belly and scallops, he had the 1lb lobster, the appies were flavourful and we really enjoyed the toffee cake. The restaurant was very busy at the time we went but it was a given since it was dinner time and dineout week. The restaurant also felt very cozy and we had a nice high chair to eat our dinner.

Came here for a late lunch after walking around Granville Island. The employees were friendly, didn't wait too long to get seated. I had the lobster roll, which came with fries, it was tasty and came out fast. The weather was nice, so we sat outside, it's a pretty view of the boats. Love the hanging flowers. The price is reasonable. Looking forward to going back and trying more menu items.

Some of the best fish and chips I have ever had! Love their tartar sauce too! Definitely worth a stop!

Learned about this restaurant from a research. Price was kind of in the middle, not too expensive, and the food served there was excellent. The environment looked comfortable and re. The server also came from Ontario and so we were able to click and start to converse continuously. Ordered a few dishes with seafood from the west coast. Loved the sable fish and mussels the most!

Shoutout to Bryce for being our server today. The Riesling was a great pair with my second course. If outdoors, you get a view of the pier, but I didn't want to sit outside because it was cold.

We were craving fish & chips. While sightseeing, we stumbled on this lovely place. The halibut & chips were great. The tartar sauce was quite unique. It had a lot of dill in it. It was yummy! Our server was very attentive. They have a beautiful deck with a water view. The day we were there was a rainy day. Too cold & miserable. Otherwise, we would have opted for that option, if there was a seat. Our server told us that on a sunny day, the deck is a popular place. Tough to get a seat. I would definitely recommend this establishment!

The vegetarian pasta dish I had was decent. The sangria was better. The best thing about this place is its location right near the water. If you want a more upscale option on Granville Island then this is probably your place. If you are looking for a more adorable place with a good ambiance, there are other options nearby.

The second floor view was gorgeous! Service was fast and friendly. Great food to go with the great view!

Fantastic seafood menu with a nice view of the bay from the outdoor dining overlooking the water. Even saw from seals lounging around in the water during our meal. Not particular a lot of places even in this town where you can experience that. Located in touristy Granville Island--and yes, I was one of those--expect to pay premium prices, though for the money, it was excellent. Broad menu and wine list, though for lunch we stayed away from the latter. Excellent service, kind of a casual fine dining experience for those looking for something different from the large food market, though nothing wrong with that. Conveniently located near an escape route if your heading back to downtown or elsewhere. We had a large seafood platter that was just about perfect for a party of four and tacked on a buffalo tartar that came with plenty of bread. A fine meal on an almost perfect day made for a wonderful stop. Highly recommended.

Nice spot on Granville Island with a seafood-focused menu. The dining room is spacious and there is a nice patio off to the side, which is where we had lunch. Can't go wrong with the fish and chips with a premium cut of halibut that is perfectly fried and not at all greasy. The mussels were also some of the freshest and most flavorful ones we have had recently, and the seafood pasta with salmon, prawns, and mussels in a sundried-tomato cream sauce was also excellent and not too heavy. Nice selection of local wines and beers, with excellent service. Vancouver Fish Company hits the spot on Granville Island!

Wow! Our group of 8 couldn't be any more thrilled with this restaurant. We got there early for a 5p reservation and they were able to seat us immediately! Marty was our wait person and he was wonderful. He gave us great food suggestions and was spot on. We all loved our food! Highly recommend Vancouver Fish Company!

A beautifully romantic restaurant with ambiance and delectable food. A place to go for a date or and event, sitting by the windows can be drafty I recommend one of the comfy booths. The staff are all friendly and welcoming with great knowledge of their restaurants food and beverages. We went with the seafood platter which whether cooked to perfection. We had the Cesar salad, maple walnut prawns, and mussels. All very delicious parted with a Pinot noir. An amazing and memorable birthday for my bestie, happy 51st bday!

We came here for oysters and chowda and oysters and chowda we were given! The oysters were from the northern Pacific Ocean and were deeeeelish. I don't usually add much to the oyster besides some lemon because I like ACTUALLY LIKE OYSTERS but you do you. These tasted like the ocean, all briny and stuff. The seafood chowda was pretty darn good. Hot, creamy, juicy. Just how I like it ;) Go here and give them all of your money.

A tourist trap. We thought we'd treat ourselves and were both disappointed. I had a salmon burger and she had a full entree. Both so forgettable. Why don't establishments care about the food they serve?
