My experience was having lunch. Great food, started with awesome oysters, then the tartar which was fantastic, but the scrambled eggs had a bit too much butter, and was too salty. The sausage, while tasting absolutely delicious, felt a little underwhelming as a dish by itself. Service was great as expected, but the wait for food after ordering was a bit too long for a lunch, 40+ minutes. The location and locale is great, especially if youre not from Oslo.

This place was a surprise! We came by spontaneously and ordered almost everything on the menu and weren’t disappointed. We had the juiciest burger, most garlicky and buttery sourdough bread, sweetest tomatoes and so much more. Cherry on top was the dessert and the non alcoholic sparking tea. Staff has been the sweetest and most attentive - we felt so welcomed. Coming back for breakfast next time!

Was good, maybe hyped a little too much though. Service was a bit slow for lunch, the burger wasn't super warm (still a stellar burger though), and the clove flavor in the Bloody Marys was a little overpowering. Otherwise a really good dining experience overall, lots of really good attention to the little things in the food (like the layering of flavors in the cheeseburger). I recommend the burger and the cucumbers!

The food we had for brunch was good, but kind of expected. Some creativity could be implemented in the menu. The hype around this place is not justified, and the restaurant takes advantage of it with overpriced dishes. Ok restaurant for brunch, but nothing amazing. A major problem is the service, as in many other places in Oslo. Staff members are being almost rude, don’t smile and are clearly annoyed to be at work. It is not acceptable considering the average price customers have to pay.

We went there for a birthday dinner after reading about it in the WSJ. We had just about everything on the menu and everyone loved it. Great food, great wine, and great service. They will do vegetarian versions of the menu for the non meant eaters though it not on the menu. Just ask.

Dinner is pretty restricted to a simple menu, which is understandable given the current times. The waiters have somewhat of a waiting period between meals which I don't prefer. Otherwise, its got an excellent brunch, great tasting food and very tasty coffee.

Had brunch today. The staff was professional and attentive. The cheeseburger: Intense umami flavour explosion, delicious patty. A little unbalanced. I miss a little freshness, could easily have been achieved with some tomatoes. The bottom bun was too soggy. Although a very nice burger, but should have been priced to 180, not 220 imo. The ricotta sourdough toast: A complete disaster. The thick ricotta cream layer reminds me of rice porridge cream, which is a sweet dessert. There wad oil on top as well, so the total impression is too much fat and sugar. It was extremely heavy, and I could not finish it. The avocado sourdough toast: This one was very nice, with a lot af avocado on top. Too much oil in my opinion, but it was all in all a nice dish. Beef tartar: Very nice. A little crisp, savoury, mustardy. The greens freshens it up. The fries: Very crispy. Very nice. Good portion size. Delicious dipping sauce. Could have been more of it. The pan au chocolate: Super delicious, a little dense in the middle, but the chocolate was clearly of high quality and an overall nice pastry. Atmosphere: Super cosy. Elegant design. Will return - to try the beef and the famous port ice cream.

Less food / smaller dishes than I expected. For 200 something kroner I expected the burger to be bigger? Got the cheese burger and traded half of the cheese bacon egg sandwich with someone in my party. Both were delicious in flavor, surprised that both had the same umami flavor in the sauce. Fries were very crispy and the sauce that came with it was not bad. Since there is no alcohol served at this time you could get non-alcoholic beer for alcoholic beer prices. We opted to try the sparkling honey wine (mead) which was good. There is no dessert menu but they do have a pastry selection. We tried the chocolate chip cookies and they were actually amazing.
