An insider’s guide to Sydney, Australia - SilverKris

"A small, iconic live-music venue with a 1920s-style interior that hosts everything from jazz and local bands to burlesque and cabaret nights, and also serves decent pizzas and main courses for a full evening out." - SilverKris

I went to the Clipse concert purchased VIP tickets and we couldn’t even see the act unless it was on the tv monitor ! Me and my guest argued half the night with people that did not even have VIP bands. The bottle service was amazing and very helpful. We sat by a back door that was open half the night ! Drunk folks dropping cups and smoking cigarettes was half the night ! Spending 100’s of dollars for VIP was waste of money! Security was friends with the drunk people hovering over the balcony. They have to get better security this place has so much potential and event space looks great ! I felt like I was watching this concert on YouTube !!!! Save your money DO NOT PAY FOR VIP!!!!

Great show, go to see the Clipse and Earthgang. But one of my least favorite venues. I know it was sold out but with how low the seating is above the main floor you can barely see. You cant change it but i now know i either wont come here again or arrive more than the hour early i was, which is usually plenty of time. Parking was a catastrophe. They close the parking garage by the venue so you either use there parking lot which is inconvenient and outdoors. I prefer garages for safety and protecting my car. Then Orlando charges outrages prices to park. Not the venues issue but man, small business would thrive if parking wasnt insane. Id never come to orlando to rome the city. Also the show started before everyone was in. Part of buying the tickets is to see a big opener lile Earthgang. That was upsetting. Also getting merch was a disaster too, very disorganized. Least favorite concert venue ive ever experienced to say the least.

The location, the atmosphere, the staff, the drinks and the music are in my opinion a 5/5, despite the times that it has been very crowded the place feels safe. Clean bathrooms, excellent lighting. I’ll be back.

This is one of the first venues I've ever been to that has seating for GA. However, their security was incredibly over the top and didn't seem prepared for the metal band show. I was with other chronically ill friends and we were sharing a "VIP booth" with a couch but kept having security talking to us and telling us we couldn't sit on the floor on unless we had a couch. There was no VIP for the show and it was first come first serve, we were some of the first people in the venue and I was just looking for a way I wasn't going to pass out. Not super fair. Didn't make sense that I couldn't sit right next to my friends who were sitting on a couch, not much different. The venue has good AC but all the bands complained about the heat. Security wasn't gentle with crowdsurfers and wouldn't put them back in the crowd. More accessible venues, please!

Great sound and fun music venue. It can get a bit squished if the event is sold out.

Waited two hours in line, and missed the first opener, and I even got there when doors claimed to have been open for patrons. I guess this is normal according to locals. I flew out from Cleveland to see Subtronics. Filling a space like sardines in a can— is unprofessional and dangerous. It was so hot and cramped that people were panicking, and getting sick. Easily 94 degrees inside. I will not return to this venue. I paid $200 for a resale ticket and the value wasn’t worth the risk of injury. The photo shows how limited the sight was from the stage and the sound kept cutting out from who knows what. Prime example of greed.

One of the best EDM spots in Orlando. Ive been multiple times and each time they are able to bring the bar a little higher. Energy of the GA or VIP cannot be matched, you’ll have a great time either way. Best of all the party doesn’t end inside outside there is always the best food available after the shows , look out for the chicken waffle grill.

Went 10/05 to see Lil Tecca. They over sold on tickets the entire venue was so packed that people weren’t able to breathe in the front everyone was pushing forward and security didn’t help. Tour management and Venue didn’t properly communicate because Lil Tecca had giant inflatable speaker props that made it impossible to see anything but his upper body in the front. Then when I was tired of being suffocated in the crowd I went to the back of the venue, and because of Lil Tecca staying on an elevated platform and them overselling tickets, you could only see his legs and not his upper body due to the venues design back by the bar.I got a VIP package which said to pickup merch before show and then they made me wait til the show finished until I could receive what I had paid for. Tickets sold out multiple times they kept adding more for their own pockets to profit and i’m disappointed because I had never seen Lil Tecca and had high expectations only to have them diminished because the Vanguard couldn’t provide a safe and fair experience for a paid VIP patron. Hopefully I can see Lil Tecca again some day at rolling loud and have a better experience.
