I don’t want to make it a contest to see who loves varsity more than me but I love the varsity. I miss it a lot since moving from Atlanta. Do not count on getting your fix at this location. I run between terminals now to get to this location and every time it fails me. This time I was excited for no line and maybe I could get some but no. After waiting a while some guy finally comes out to say they are temporarily closed. I had to run back to A for nothing. It seems it is either a long and very slow line or randomly closed in the middle of the day. They should close. Or maybe pay people enough so they might care about what they do.

Google
Man, as much as I wanted to believe that these reviews were all biased, I can’t disagree with them: this place is just not worth coming. Sure the price is inflated because it’s in an airport, but I would think that they would want to keep the same quality as their main location. I have not been to any other location though, so I can’t say it would be any better but reviews lead me to believe so. Where to start...the hot dogs. 2 small, cold hotdogs on a bun, covered in a layer of solid “chili” that might have been lukewarm at best if I was to be honest. The cheese on top was completely solidified as well. Flavor wise, it was OK. Nothing outstanding, nothing too disappointing. The real disappointment came with the fries. The workers in the back were making new fries, and when I got them, I knew they were off. Pale white in color, soggy and drooping slightly. When I bit in, I confirmed my initial thoughts: these fries were still slightly frozen and cold! It was a gross, gluey mess of fries. And to top it off, they weren’t seasoned at all! I appreciate the thought of them trying to control my sodium intake, but still, even a LITTLE salt would help. How you can serve frozen fries out of the fryer amazes me. They weren’t even that busy or pressed to churn out orders... Also note that I didn’t eat until I got to my gate, so after taking the tram and walking, I didn’t have time to go back and get better fries or a refund. The one slightly redeeming factor in this equation were their onion rings. Those were crispy, nicely seasoned, and the onions were cooked just enough so that they weren’t slimy but still had a nice crunch without being too strong of a flavor. Also side note, can you guys redo your boxes? I get that they are made to fold easily for your manufacturing and shipping costs, but it makes it impossible to carry a box and roll a suitcase without feeling like you’re going to push your fingers through the bottom of the collapsible box and have your overpriced mediocre meal spill out. I really hope I can try the famous, original location of the Varsity so that I can give a real review from a place many people hold in high regards.

Google
So I waited for a long time and I was the person in line (I should have left at that point). Then I get to my gate and my burger looks horrible. Like they smashed my bun right before they put it in the bag! It wasn’t even hot anymore and that was only a 5-8 min walk.very dissatisfied with my order.

Karl Peterman

Google
It’s a far cry from the original Varsity but it’s cheap hot dogs and burgers just the same. Not high quality or fast service but it did the job and I didn’t have high expectations… so the rating is relative. I enjoyed my slaw dogs and fries. Tried to get a frosted orange but they were out. Got just a regular orange… and it was not my favorite… too sweet for me.

Lisa E. (Peachy in Georgia)

Google
Staff have a lot of flair and were cracking me up! Food was solid- I just love a Varsity chili dog - but, although they do have the Varsity orange drink and the frozen Varsity Orange, there were NO onion rings! Y’all!! Your onion rings are iconic! You gotta have them at all your locations!

Sheer B

Google
Does NOT stack up to the Varsity name. The original Varsity downtown and this place do not serve the same quality and flavor. Even the frosted orange just tasted like sherbert. Also, what's the deal with no onion rings? (Don't let the pretty photo fool ya. This was NOT equal to a Varsity chili cheese slaw dog)

M

Google
half the ordering screens were broken and it was only the combo menus that were shown. didn't know what else was offered, but went with it anyways since the chick fil a line was too long. foods alright though

Melanie Tran

Google
Had to try this place since it is an Atlanta staple, but it’s not anything special. My friend and I shared a 2 chili dog combo since we thought the portions were huge, but the hot dogs are fairly small...makes for a good snack. Everything is super greasy, even their peach pies but it’s worth trying when in the ATL. Just avoid the ridiculously expensive fruit cups.

John R.

Yelp
best experience I've ever had at an airport restaurant! love those guys! Best ambiance, good food and the friendliest staff. I travel a ton and cannot recall leaving an airport eatery with a bigger smile on my face. 100% recommend.

Fran P.

Yelp
Lucky to be in concourse C. You know you are in the right place when half of the patrons work at the airport! Extremely friendly and quick service. I had the Italian sausage and peppers and onions which was delicious and the onion rings which were REAL and just right! Try it out and hope one of the 7 bar stools are available. (or at least get take-out!) Say hi to Gregory and Rashon!

Yelp
Delicious! C terminal - Atlanta Int'l In an airport and surrounded by fast food and junk, you can still get real food. I am glad I my connecting flight brought me to the C terminal at Atlanta Int'l. I didn't want to eat crap and these dudes were cookin! There isn't much seating, but it makes an actual atmosphere. You can sit and talk to people there. That's rare to find in an airport. And it wasn't hard to notice a lot of their customers were airport employees. Hint hint, go where the locals go! The food was quick, hearty, tasty and served with good conversation. I got the jerk chicken link. Chicken sausage, hot peach chutney, jalapenosx bell peppers, onions, topped with some lettuce. It was damn good. If I had more time, I'd have ordered a second. If I had my phone on me at the time, I'd have taken some pictures. They have a few beers to order; I always like the Sweet Water 420, so that made me happy to see it was one that they carried. Next time I fly through Atlanta, I'm making the trip to C terminal again.

Jane P.

Yelp
I'm not a big hot dog fan, but Links Grill has a NY link with freshly sauteed sauerkraut and spicy mustard that was absolutely fabulous! Loved it! It's a gourmet hot dog at a reasonable price. Plus the guys working there are welcoming, which made the experience very enjoyable. I would highly recommend eating here if you find yourself with time at ATL airport, terminal C.

Ian A.

Yelp
Crazy small portions. Out of every normal drink you might want other than some generic beers. Out of fries. No effort here. $20 for a basic hotdog and a bottled blue moon is criminal. On top of that, takes 15 minutes to get the actual hotdog. What a farce.

Toni T.

Yelp
Greg and Rah do it right!!!Excellent friendly quick service. There's something magical about the peppers and onions on the Italian sausage Great good. Local owned!!

Patrick C.

Yelp
Great links here to choose from. I got the jerk chicken and it was amazing. Had a nice taste to it with a little kick. The customer service here was really great as they look out for customers and assist on what they are looking for. Nice sit down bar as well

Max H.

Yelp
Excellent food and excellent conversationalist made a small bite to eat memorable. Thanks folks!

Kristine W.

Yelp
Tried to order at 5:46 on a Friday night and the gentlemen working (after sitting with airport employees for over an hour) told us they were closed!! Airport packed and they close at 5:46 pm.

Bill B.

Yelp
Here is the good and the bad: BAD: Slow service Small seating area Unpleasant employees $11.97 for a chili link and diet coke Dirty restaurant GOOD: Still thinking about it....

Courtney H.

Yelp
This Is By far the best tasting food in the Atlanta Airport ...You should come by an enjoy a Philly or Link it is amazing. You will not be disappointed.I give it 5 stars around the board .They are very nice people with great attitude. It's A Whole Vibe.

Brian O.

Yelp
This place is situated on the north end of C concourse at Atlanta Hartsfied International Airport in a little cubby hole on the west side. The menu is very limited to great greasy delights found on many NYC city street food carts. When this place is fully stocked, I love this place. Great street food ranging from delicious hot dogs to gyros to chili cheese fries. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

Patrick P.

Yelp
I ordered the Chicago dog. It was very good. It had everything you would expect including the mustard. The frank was a high quality beef frank from Boars head. The staff were efficient and friendly. They were just interested in learning about me and my travels. This made travel not so lonely for a brief minute. If you are in the terminal stop by (if you are not counting your calories :-))

John M.

Yelp
Small dog & brat place in concourse C. I go a simple dog with mustard and onion. The dog was a thick one. The mustard was spicy but not really hot. The toasted bun was a nice touch. Nice canned beer selection..mostly craft beer. I am sorry I could pick and try one with my dog. Worth it for a quick bite in the airport...would rate decently as a street dog.

Randal C.

Yelp
Walk up counter is convenient, not crowded, while other establishments in C gate seemed crowded and a full sit down affair. I had the Sausage Link w Pep and Onions. Service was friendly and helpful and they made the dish in just abt 2 minutes. It hit the spot, I have to say. Just the right amount of peps and onions, which were fresh, as was the roll. No complaints. A plus is they serve brewskies, though I didn't partake. No downside but this isn't a place to hang during your layover, its eat and run. or walk...or crawl, depending on the day you've been having.

Edward O.

Yelp
Friendly owner and quick tasty fast food. Best for single person or two people traveling. They do have a Vegan impossible burger that is worth trying if you have never had one. ( better than Burger Kings). Nice calm throw back music playing on the radio.

Emily K.

Yelp
This is the second time we've ended up at Links Grill in concourse C. The dogs are tasty and food comes out quick. There's not much for beer or wine in the concourse and Links is a good in between for a sit down restaurant or you can order to go. I was a little sad this time because they were out of wine and only had carbonated wine cans--skip it! But, the selection of canned beer is good and service is always friendly.

Ron P.

Yelp
Nothing out of the ordinary. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese bagel (option of brioche bun or croissant). The sausage patty doesn't come close to covering the size of the bagel and the cheese barely had any taste. I was hoping for better out of a new place to try out in Atlanta's Airport.

Stefany V.

Yelp
This place was better than reviews led me to expect but not better than A-OK. Got the NY dog, which was a thick "brat" (seemed to be a different sausage), a heap of surprisingly good sauerkraut, and some solid mustard. The dog itself was huge and easily shared. Space is extremely limited with a small dine-in counter but much of their business is takeout easily enjoyed at your gate.

Brian R.

Yelp
I'm generally never passing through when this place is open, but it's the best food on concourse C. It has a nice counter to sit at. Little Motown, good service, and a place to sit go a long way in the hustle and bustle of Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson. The food is fast but the quality is really good. Healthy? He'll, no. Tasty. Yes, indeed. Drop by. You'll see.

Lisa B.

Yelp
Traveling as a vegan and vegetarian can be tough. Especially when you are stuck in an airport for 4 hours and are starving! After searching through menus online we had decided to head to get an easy veggie burrito from one of the Mexican stands here. Luckily, as we passed by the vegan gods looked down on us and we saw that this place has the Impossible Burger. Totally vegan and delicious. To top it off we were able to watch the game and get a few beers in. And the staff are friendly and helpful! So, if you ever find yourself in the ATL airport and want a delicious plant based burger Links in your spot!

Mark M.

Yelp
In the event that I'm at or near concourse B, I will be going back to drop by. Unfortunately, I had a mildly disappointing meal prior to stumbling across this place to grab a drink. The food was typical of Atlanta/the South. I saw pulled pork and various smoked sausages on the menu but do to the meat sweats from a previous meal I didn't order food. Please let me know how it is if you drop by and give them a try, there will be a review in the future!

Anna Marie P.

Yelp
This was a great quick bite. The subroll was warm and tasted buttery. The Peppers and Onions were fresh on the Italian Link sub and my guy's New York Link was piled with Sauerkraut. Gyros are grilled to order. My only complaint is that sometimes the Italian Sausage is alittle dry, while other times it is really juicy. Probably trying to make sure it's quick by cooking ahead, but they need to be careful there. The people behind the counter were very nice today. They have Sweetwater, beer and wine to go with the links if you want it.

Martin K.

Yelp
Best airport food I've had in a while. While way overpriced like all airport places, the food is excellent (mostly different kids of sausages as the name implies). Both my wife and I really enjoyed our sausages. And they're pretty fast, too, which can be important at the airport. If you're hungry and like sausage, this is a good place to eat.

Norm J.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast while waiting for my flight and got sausage, egg and cheese on a bagel. Got my food lightening quick (this is something people say right) and it was tasty too. The employees were friendly and were playing good music as well. Definitely a nice option over the fast food chains breakfast.

Zachary A.

Yelp
Best spot for beer in Concourse C of Atlanta Airport. By far, a great selection of cans and about 5 Respectable IPA. Cost about $8 after tax and you have to drink on site, tough with such a small spot, but worth it. Two TVs and food smelled good at least. Located near gate C30 on Delta side of the concourse. Well worth making your way here if you need a beer at the airport.

Eric W.

Yelp
I just so happened to be walking through the terminal and was super hungry. I saw this place and though to myself "I like hot dogs and there are plenty of people in here so it must be good!" I stopped in and had a seat at the bar stool where the two lovely ladies greeted me. They could've smiled, but that's okay. Lol. I order the jerk chicken sausage with chili-cheese fries. I was SO surprised with the portions of the dishes! I certainly got my money's worth and couldn't finished them. They were very good and I would totally come back here. Only setback was the attitudes of the staff. You could tell they didn't want to be there, but they made my experience as enjoyable as possible.

Vincent V.

Yelp
Wow... This is a great meal located in the C-gate. Owned by someone real that you can tell cares about the items on the menu. Amazing boutique of different hotdog options. From brats, chicken dogs, to the traditional high quality Vienna all beef option. The only thing missing (Veggie Dogs) I was told was in the works to be added to the menu. I went with the Chicago dog which was worthy of being compared to the best of of the best in the Windy City. They have Jerk Dogs, New York Style, you name it. My dog was great with waffle fries that are seasoned and a great addition to any dog. They also have a nice selection of beers and my only real complaint is that there is not more seating. This place is great and am glad I found!!!!

Amanda L.

Yelp
Seriously, best airport food I've had in a long time, maybe ever! Get the jerk chicken sausage- moist tender with some spice. Service is lacking but its worth the time to stop.

David H.

Yelp
Best pulled pork link and service in the Atlanta airport. Staff is friendly and the service is quick. Love the waffle fries and coleslaw. I stop by here every time I can.

Vee M.

Yelp
We needed something to eat while on a stopover at ATL Georgia airport. We were in concourse C and walked the entire area looking at all the menus. Nothing really stood out as different. We decided to give Links a try. It was a small establishment with only a row of seats to eat. There was only one other customer eating. We ordered the combo meal that came with fries and a drink for $9.95 as well as another bratwurst for under $8. The chili cheese link was as expected. Can't really go wrong it had a good amount of topping in a soft bun and flavored brat. The Chicago was a great choice because of all the extra ingredients, namely brat veggies, adding to flavor and texture. Overall for airport fast food, this place was good. The service was fast and friendly. It was clean and music was being played to keep entertained.

Zee D.

Yelp
Happened to be departing at the gate (C37) near this place. Have passed by many times but never really given this place much thought. Stopped by and ordered a nice Italian beef -- very tasty. French fries are the waffle cut variety and were crispy and golden brown. Healthy food this isn't BUT great tasting food? Definitely worth the calories when you have to have a hot dog or fries....

Salvador S.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to catch a quick bit. The Chicago is my go to dog! Great service and music!

John m.

Yelp
I just had a great Italian beef sandwich (with giardiniera) and onion rings. It was delicious and way better than I thought it would be. I must have walked past this place a thousand times and today I finally had time to try it. The service was fast, the beer cold and the bar is what I always look for anyway. I'll be back for sure.

Mark M.

Yelp
I posted a picture already (link below), but felt the need to write a review too.. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/links-grill-terminal-c-no-title?select=SpVY6wqKOAKyYwWk33w6MQ Extremely overpriced for the amount of food you get. I know this is an airport so prices are high, but $9.36 for a sausage that fills little more than half of the bun is really lousy. Most airport food stands at least fill you up for the average $10 price tag. I definitely won't be back, and I'm sure you'll leave hungry and disappointed.

Francis B.

Yelp
Links Grill in Terminal C has what no other fast food joint behind TSA security has: BIG, professional kitchen knives at the cook station (securely tied with TSA strength cable, so no throwing antics...) That tells the story of why it's my pick over the standard burger-and-fries places. Links brings together creative sausages and dogs with a selection of top-shelf bottled beers. It's simple fare, yet when the grill master takes the time to 'plate' your Chicago dog, arrange the chilis just so, and finish the bun with celery salt, you know there is an extra level of care here. The diner bar is retro and the servers will not rush your meal, or you can grab a fresh cooked bratwurst to go in less than 10 minutes. Back to that BIG chef's knife... Any grill that takes the time to chop its onions, slice its hot peppers, and split its sausages at the time the customer orders is going to give you a more personalized and tasty meal. After all, you could run a hot-dog stand in an airport with little more than tongs and premade toppings...

Cheryl G.

Yelp
Stopped in here after returning from a trip. Ate in and got the Chicago dog. I'm a native Chicagoan and this was the Best Chicago Dog I've had in my 14 years of living here. I ordered the pulled pork sliders to go and had them the next day. They were also delicious. This is one of those places that I would stop and eat at regardless of the terminal I leave from.

Stephen M.

Yelp
The service was extremely bad , very rude , they have the music blaring so you cant sit and eat , pushing you for a tip

Shannon H.

Yelp
Perhaps it was just the hot dog I got. We were in a rush between switching flights, when I realized I should probably get something to eat before boarding. This seemed to be the quickest option in route, and looked somewhat appealing. They have a great variety of different flavored/style hot dogs to choose from. They also serve beer and wine. I ended up just getting their Beer Bratwurst hot dog, perhaps to compensate for the drink that I could not have : ) It comes with sauteed bell peppers and onions. The total was like $8 and some change. Hot dog it self, was nothing spectacular. The "sauteed veggies" were minuscule and all wilted to a soggy, less than appealing mess. I ended up taking a fork and sweeping them off the dog into the trash. Overall hot dog was ok, but nothing worth buying again. I also only had a few bites of the bun which seemed to have picked up some seasoning from the grill, that was also less than palatable. At least the service was friendly. If I were to come back, I would certainly give it another shot though, just choose a different dog.

Ken M.

Yelp
Flying SW and stuck in Atlanta as usual. Stopped by Links in Terminal C again and promised myself I would post about my visit. Ordered the Chicago Dog. Probably my 6th or 7th one there. Huge grilled dog with all of the right fixins - from relish to peppers to mustard. After reading more reviews, I might try the cajun chicken sausage. Seating is limited, but you always make a new friend before you leave. Staff is great and always some good Motown or funk playing on the sound system. A good meal with some stress relief. They also serve from the front counter if you want to grab and go.

Josh K.

Yelp
Pretty small location - only six stools. Not great service - seems like it took about 15 minutes for our server to close out our tab. $7.63 for beers that were not particularly cold. I don't plan on returning.

Christina Y.

Yelp
If only this place was cheaper, I would give it a better rating. It was actually pretty good for airport food. Crispy sausages, but the portions were too small.

George P.

Yelp
Not a bad place to grab a sandwich In Concourse C. The Gyro was savory and the tzatziki sauce tasty. Much better than some of the fast food joints. And the disco give a fun atmosphere.

Adam B. J.

Yelp
Great chicago dog and chicken tenders. Decent price. No line. I'd say eat here if you have a short connection!

Karen P.

Yelp
For what you pay and what you receive Links is worthy of a flyby when passing through Atlanta. I was excited to finally saddle up to the counter, and I was quickly disappointed by the service and availability of options. When I was given a paper menu, I was informed that all the side items, like the "waffle fries with chili and cheese" were discontinued options for some time. If they have been unavailable for some time, print new menus and find suitable substitutions and print the prices on the menu. I was told I needed to get up and walk to the front of the store to look at the electronic TV menu for pricing and accurate menu availability which is ridiculous. I hardly think if I am paying nearly $10 for a hot dog, that chili covered Fritos count as an adequate substitute. The New Yorker was good, but certainly not anything particularly special. It could very easily be made at home without the cackling and loud conversation of the restaurant staff. They busied themselves with talking loudly amongst each other and pretty much ignored the customers aside from "what you want," "we don have that," and "here's your check." Also fair warning, while the hot dog bun may be warm, the meat is fresh off the grill and VERY hot. Not that I was told or anything until I burned the roof of my mouth. The beer and soft drink selection is quite limited and over priced. I disagree paying more for a beverage in the airport than while ON the airplane, especially when it's terrible beer. I don't anticipate coming back again.

Mark D.

Yelp
Links was fast and friendly with good tasting food. However the limited seating only allows for 6 to 8 patrons. The rest, like myself, need to get it and go. The menu may look small at first but there's a lot up there, and it's actually the right amount of choices for a quick airport turn around. I decided on the BLT with chicken sausage, thick cut bacon topped with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes and mayo. It was dang good too even after sitting in bag for about an hour until I could open it up during the flight. The sausage was spiced perfectly, the toppings fresh and just the right amount of mayo applied to add flavor without drowning it. Although the bun was good it was rather large making it my only complaint. The only side option I saw was the Mrs. Vicks jalapeño chips, which served me fine as they would've been my first choice anyway. Cleanliness was pretty good. Especially for the activity about the place. Overall I have to agree with my Yelp colleagues and stick to the 4 to 5 star rating. Today it's 4 but I wonder if I was able to eat it there hot and fresh off the grill if it would've been a 5? Maybe I'll find out next time.

Anisha G.

Yelp
This was a great place to grab a bite. I got the peppers and brat which was pretty good. The 2 people next to me were eating the the chili dog which looked and smelled delicious. I had a nice cold beer as well. I would definitely come here again!

Nancy F.

Yelp
So good. The philly cheesesteak and dog with sauerkraut was amazing. Staff were great.

Ralph P.

Yelp
There are a lot of choices in the airport but Links was more than enough food for the money, and it was Delicious. I normally don't do reviews but Greg and Tan were great host, check them out, you won't be disappointed. The Philly Cheese Steak is on Point.
