Very unpleasant service from young lady on day of my arrival. Extremely unfriendly and arrogant. The hotel is an historical beauty. My room was tiny, in fact the bathroom was bigger so had to open my double sided Italian suitcase in there. Breakfast was good. Reception on exit was better. Certainly need some training in customer service.

I am writing this review after 4 months just because today I was in another hotel and it reminds me to share my experience of this hotel. We were there for my 40 birthday breakfast with my kids and they told us that we can’t sit inside restaurant because of we had stroller and that would take some space. And also they charged us for our two years old kid who doesn’t eat really so much food. If you have kid you understand me. Anyway I have confirmation from hotel that this hotel is not child friendly hotel and that’s super strange to me. If you have a kid don’t go there but for business trip works fine with good location.

Beautiful hotel from entering to the service at reception to the room! The decor is stunning and the ambiance relaxing. As you walk up stairs you have some gorgeous smells or you can choose to use the cylinder lift which is the oldest lift in Sweden. Parking is a little sparse but available further down the road. Amenities are close but with plenty of bars restaurants and shops all in walking distance. Definitely recommend this hotel. Just lovely

I got a small room close to the conference facilities so there was some noise. I had asked for a quiet room. It was really hard to get the water temperature right. Either it was ice cold , or steaming hot. Ended up taking a cold shower. Tv didn't work at all. Comfy bed . Wonderful breakfast

My trip was quite ruined after being pregnant and getting a swollen red face in allergy from using the lotion they provided in the room. It is everything but 100% natural as the product claims (see which one it is on the picture). This is the first time in my life that I have had any allergic reaction on my skin and it is terrible to get it while being pregnant since it didn't get much better after washing it off. So dear ladies, if you are pregnant, DO NOT USE THEIR BODY LOTION!!!! Also, no hair dryer, no air conditioning, TV placed so only one person can see it.

Fabulous hotel in a superb central location. Friendly and helpful staff and terrific breakfast. Beautiful reception area and bar and quirky old fashioned lift. We were very nicely upgraded to a suite which was very comfortable. Only one gripe was that the fridge in the room wasn't working but that didn't detract from overall satisfaction during our 3 night stay. Thoroughly recommended - and at a great price to.

Friendly staff, easy checkin, clean room. Nice bar and seating area. Conveniently located within walking distance to most attractions. Reasonably close to ferry. Parking area a short walk away. Breakfast was superb; one of the very best hotel Breakfasts ever. Water pressure was strong, well stocked mini bar, and sauna on site.

Everything was good but not recommended on a Saturday night because of a very loud night club nearby. It’s almost impossible to get some sleep before 4 am on a Saturday night!!!! Fortunately the club is closed during the rest of the week.
