The Vegan Phoenix

Absolutely phenomenal. This is not just good vegan food, it's great food period. Drove from Washington just to stop here and I wish we could give it more than 5 stars. Every time we drive through Oregon we are going to have to stop. All of the food (and service) was incredible, but I can't express enough how amazing the vegan bacon was especially.

Unlike many eateries nowadays, the staff actually answered the phone, when I called with questions. I ended up being able to order over the phone; the had several gluten free options! I ordered the vegan chicken nuggets, and there was a delightful option to add fried pickles as side. Which I very much appreciated, because not only were the nuggets not a la carte, like so many places are doing nowadays, I had a way to try the pickles for only $2 extra instead of paying for a full side. Both items were in my opinion,as perfect as possible. So were the onions rings! The lady there, definitely has the batter for deep frying down! The portions are appropriate, my food stayed warm & crispy for a while. All the sauces were good, even the Caesar dressing I got, because ranch isn't available. I didn't need it, the Caesar dressing was delicious! The gluten free vegan onions rings here, are definitely the best, I have had anywhere in the area! Good job Vegan Phoenix, your prices, portions, and quality are all pretty darn good, I will be back!

The food here is the bomb.com , My wife and I love the atmosphere as you can sit and enjoy the outside with some amazing vegan food. I highly recommend this place . I like the loaded hot dogs with added bacon 🥓. The BLT is fire, the chicken club is amazing but make sure you’re hungry it’s huge. The waffle fries and s’mores are also very very good 👍.

Absolutely loved this place. My wife and I drove over from Portland and I couldn't stop eating the fried chick'n. It was the best vegan fried chick'n I've ever had, and I've had a lot. My wife had the club and said it was probably the best sandwich she's had in a long time. The waffle fries were cooked perfect but I could have done without the seasoning on them. The smore was an amazing way to end the meal. I made a point to tell them this was the nest vegan fried chick'n I'd ever had they were so appreciative of the feedback and super friendly. I love food cart pods and this one was set up very well, literally anyone in your party can find something so now your vegan friends don't have to eat a salad and sides.

The Vegan Phoenix completely blew me away. I had the Chicken Bacon Club Sandwich with BBQ chicken, and it was hands-down the best vegan sandwich I’ve ever tasted—flavorful, satisfying, and perfectly made. I also tried the ice cream, and wow… just wow. Every bite was amazing. This place instantly became my new favorite spot. I’m already planning to come back tomorrow. If you’re looking for incredible vegan food, this is the place to go!

I just ate the chik'n club sandwich with BBQ chicken and my taste buds are so very pleased with my life choices. Located in BG's Food Cartel, which has plenty of options for any meat-eating dining mates. I look forward to trying one of the burgers next!

The “ham”burger was delicious! I am not vegan, but would prefer this burger over meat. 1000/1000!! Onion rings were also delicious. The “meat” was broken down tofu and seasoned to perfection. This place knows what they are doing 🤌

Wow! The fried chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious, along with the waffle fries and ceasar side salad (only $4!). The tea with raspberry was refreshing and not too sweet. I was SO HAPPY to see a plant-based food cart at this pod, and it did not disappoint. Can't wait to go back. Please, PLEASE stick around! Go to this place, we have to keep PB carts open, they're rare - especially one this good. My only notes: consider adding a veggie chili and cashew/nutritional yeast style "cheese" sauce to dump on top of the fries... that would be heaven.

10/10. The fried chicken and chicken club sandwich were insanely good. The "meat" is seasoned perfectly. A lot of vegan sandwich places miss the mark with seasoning their food. Vegan Phoenix went above and beyond. I can't wait to be back!!! Friendly service and they were quick :)

I'm amazed at the portion sizes and quality of this food! I highly recommend checking it out! And so many gluten free options! Yum!!

I am obsessed with their fried pickles and emerald gem smoothie. Everything is vegan and a lot can be done gluten free. They are my go to food truck at BGs. Ordering is easy on the touch pad and the staff are friendly.

The food was outstanding and Couldn't get enough. Will be my new vegan fav spot and telling everyone about it. The service was amazing and felt like they really care about their customers which is a rarity . The overall ambiance of place was awesome as well.

BGs Food Cartel has a lot of great options, but to me none are as good as the Vegan Phoenix. Their menu is consistently good. Despite offering fried foods, they are not at all greasy while still being crispy. The veggies that they put on their sandwiches are always fresh and crisp, and the lettuce is never wilty. They go above and beyond to make sure that everything is at its best. Their chicken sandwiches I think are their strongest offering, and are better than what even the nearby sit-down vegan restaurants have to offer. Food is fast, quality is excellent, and the owners are friendly. There's also a really nice seating area next to the cart with lots of shade, and barstool seating. My non-vegan friends also like it, and they have gluten free options, so it's a great place to go for groups with mixed dietary restrictions. Their Caesar salad is also very good, they make an in-house dressing for it which is one of the best vegan Caesar's dressings I've ever had! I definitely recommend giving them a try!

Best vegan BLT in town!!! Fast service. Located in a very nice food cart with picnic tables and fresh air.
