The Victoria Hotel Dunedin

My husband and I have just been to the Victoria Hotel restaurant "Well Manor" for our evening meal. It was so good I've decided to write a review. The people serving us were fantastic very kind and helpful. We both enjoyed our food it looked really good when it came out and a high standard of presentation and the food itself. What I liked was that everything was so clean the ambience was really good my husband's adding that the chairs were comfortable, he said the 🥗 salad was one of the better salads he had eaten while out and he commented on how reasonably priced the food was. We had a window seat so we were able to look out which I enjoyed as well. I can't complain about anything even the garden was beautiful. We met the gardener on the way back to the car and not only was the staff inside really helpful and friendly he also was a very friendly person.

First room TV didn't work properly so they moved us to another room. The bathroom didn't drain properly and wet the edge of the carpet. They moved us to our third room which is hopeful. They comped us to nights parking ($40). Not a lot but something Regardless the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The hotel rooms are 5 star plus. Very well appointed. Room had microwave, plates cups and glasses so you can heat up some food for those times you want to stay in your room. Bathroom has a awesome shower.

We stayed at the Victoria Hotel in Dunedin for one night. The hotel is perfectly suitable for a short stay and the staff were very friendly. Our room, however, had a noticeable odor issue. The reception handled the situation well by providing an ozone treatment, which removed the smell. Unfortunately, we weren’t informed that the room needed to be aired out for at least an hour afterward—we had to look this up online ourselves. A small detail, but important to know.

Very modern and well maintained apartment suites. Staffs are very kind and welcoming.

The facilities in the room were great, even though I felt like there was a weird division of space. The team was very attentive and kind. Nevertheless, I didn't really feel at "home", but maybe the intention of the place is to be a hotel.

Super friendly and warm staff, great location, clean and tidy room.Actually I think they could update thier photos on the website, the King room I stayed in was way much better than it looked online😂😂
