I am in complete shock of how this "resort" can advertise themselves as five stars. I wouldn't even give three. From arrival, the front desk barely greets you. We had to wait a few minutes for anyone to even be at the front desk. It's not advertised but the resort is extremely hilly, meaning you need a golf cart to get you around unless you want to hike. They have golf cart service, but never once did it arrive within 10 minutes of us calling them (might not have come at all), so we just ended up walking. The breakfast is buffet style, which would be fine if they actually rotated the options each morning and they looked fresh. On our third night, we woke up in the middle of the night to our ceiling leaking water. We called the front desk in the morning to ask them to clean it up and to inquire what happened. We have a video so don't even try to deny it. Either they couldn't understand us or they just didn't care. Based on everything else, I believe it was the later. My book and my husbands sneakers were soiled. One day we came back to the bathroom door being left open during cleaning, to which many mosquitoes entered our room. The showers are outside so you will be swarmed with bugs when taking a shower. Also, all the facilities close at 7pm, which is absolutely ridiculous for a secluded "resort" with no other amenities or entertainment. The only redeeming quality of this resort is the pool, but the view is bad unless you're there at high tide as others have mentioned. There were no special touches for our honeymoon appropriate for us, nothing in the mini fridge. They gave us a bottle of wine even though during our booking we told them no alcohol. They offered no alternative when we returned it. The workers will never say hi to you, and barely only respond if you say hi first. All the review about the rooms being extremely dated are true, don't ignore them. Avoid this "resort" like the plague. They must be offering some type of deal to leave good reviews!!

I would like to thank everyone at the Vijitt resort for making our holiday at our home in Thailand so enjoyable. Very special thanks to our housekeeoers for keeping the villa so clean and comfortable. Your housekeeping was exceptional. I would also like to thank Khun Maria, and Khun Lyly for their excellant breakfast service. Thank you chef Wut and your team for the delicious food. The Christmas eve dinner was fantastic lots of delicious food and a great atmasphere but the highlight of the night for me was the children singing Christmas carols it made the night magical and a night I will never forget. Once again thank you for 24 nights of pure relaxation in beautiful surroundings. I hope to be back very soon.

The hotel is located 1.5 hours by car from the airport, situated in the far southwest of the island. While the location is scenic, it is very isolated, making it inconvenient to explore the island without planning for long car rides, often an hour to reach key destinations. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful and clean décor. The lobby staff are welcoming, but unfortunately, their presence is limited late at night, which can be inconvenient. Guests are dependent on the staff to drive them to their bungalows, especially if they are located far from the main entrance. The property is vast and very steep, making it challenging to navigate on foot, particularly for those staying in elevated areas. Thankfully, golf carts are available for transport, which is a lifesaver. The bungalow was beautiful and spotless, with an impressive, spacious bathroom. The highlight was the outdoor shower, though the water pressure was disappointingly low, and there was no handheld showerhead outside. The indoor bathroom offered a large bathtub with a handheld showerhead. However, the TV in the room was outdated and small, with most of the channels being Thai and non-digital.The restaurant's dinner service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. However, the breakfast experience was underwhelming. There was no one to greet guests or bid them farewell, as the staff appeared to be stretched thin. While tables were promptly cleaned, guests often had to remind staff to provide fresh cutlery. The breakfast options were limited, and milk was surprisingly hard to find—it was hidden in a separate air-conditioned room at the back of the restaurant. The egg station staff seemed forgetful, and after three days, the repetitive menu became tiresome. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is wonderful, with a relaxing vibe and a beautiful pool. Unfortunately, the beach is off-limits for swimming. While the hotel offers excursions and shuttle services, these must be booked a day in advance. During one excursion, the driver dropped us off at the wrong location, and we had to call a taxi to reach a proper swimming beach, which was disappointing. In summary, The Vijitt Resort Phuket offers a visually stunning environment with good amenities, but its remote location, steep terrain, and inconsistent service detract from the experience. Improvements in breakfast service, water pressure, and transportation organization would greatly enhance the guest experience.

We booked The Vijitt Resort for our honeymoon, but nothing is as it seems. The hotel looks beachfront in the photos, but the sea is actually almost a kilometer away. All websites state that they have a "private beach," yet swimming there is not allowed. Instead, they take guests to a public beach. There were huge bugs in the room, and the air conditioning was extremely noisy. Additional taxes are charged on food. The place is entirely money-oriented and does not deserve the price you pay. You can find much better hotels for a lower price. Choose places that prioritize customer satisfaction rather than profit, and do not come here. Thank you for ruining our honeymoon.

We stayed in Pool Villa #4. The resort is beautiful, the staff is great. Tommy was fantastic and always so eager to help. He helped us book a tour that we would have known nothing about. Even on his days off, he called to see if we were ok or if we needed anything. AMAZING! The room was beautiful and comfortable. The private pool was so relaxing. The main pool was also amazing and beautiful. Breakfast buffet was great. Drinks at the pool was so delicious 😋. We ordered room service a few times and everything was good. The A.C. blasted very cold air, the fridge actually kept things cold unlike most hotel fridges. It even has a small freezer that comes with an ice tray. The only issue we had was the shower. It was either scalding hot or freezing cold. We tried everything. When we eventually found the right temp, it would only stay on that temp for a minute or less. Even if you didn't touch it, it would change on its on. Not a huge issue but definitely annoying. We would definitely book this resort again because everything besides the water temperature was perfect. Oh, another thing, you can swim in the ocean, but once low tide hits, the ocean basically disappears and you'll see people walking across what used to be an ocean an hour ago. It's weird but cool. In the morning, the ocean returns and you can swim again.

2 couples, individual villas positioned overlooking the sea. Chauffeured golf buggies to get you up and down the hill and chorus of frogs every evening!||Lush, tropical, peaceful and calm. The whole resort exuded peace and tranquility. The open air rain shower within the villa had views over the bay and the picture French doors at the end of the bed also overlooked the bay. The infinity pool was warm and luxurious and a drink/snack service was available from your poolside sunbed.|The restaurants offered fresh, tasty and beautifully presented food that included Thai and international dishes. The cocktail menu was varied and exciting.|The spa provided a peaceful haven for a luxurious massage to rival any high-end UK offering with masseuse trained at Wat Pho and the staff were brilliant, friendly, helpful, fun and happy. We got to know Maria, Lily, Gate, Cute and Joe really well and nothing was too much trouble. Our attempts at basic Thai were appreciated. We couldn’t fault the resort and whilst some may consider the villa’s tired we like to think of them as rustic. On arrival we had a fresh fruit platter, small biscuits, a bottle of wine and then daily complimentary water. We will definitely visit again!!!

Could just be the best resort I’ve ever been to! The rooms were amazing, the staff were genuinely kind and looked happy, the restaurant was tasty and the cart service was prompt too. They had all cuisine in their menu! The pool area could be a little small but I enjoyed it either ways! The beach is right across the road too.
