The Village at Breckenridge

I love Kent's property! It's super convenient to Main Street and the ski lifts. It has been excellently renovated on the inside as well and really comfortable for a group of mine up to 4 people. We really love the pool & hot tub area at this facility as well. Thank you for letting us visit, definitely will book again in the future anytime during the year, we love the town of Breck!

Great location and amenities. Our kids loved the hot tub and pool. Close to restaurants and next to lift. Our condo was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals though we mostly went out or got take-out. The condo had some beautiful custom made furniture. ||We rented through Airbnb; the pictures looked exactly like the condo. Our Airbnb host Kent was easy to work with and communicated everything we needed to know. We reserved the movie room one night and had a family night in the movie theater. ||Parking was easy to access though a bit expensive but understandable given how little parking there is in Breckenridge. ||The Sauce on the Maggie restaurant next door was the best meal we had while visiting. ||Mountain conditions were perfect. We arrived right after a snow storm and skiing was great. ||We will definitely stay here again.

This is the most convenient place to stay in Breckenridge. It’s right between the ski lift and Main St. The views and amenities are fantastic. There are several jacuzzis, heated pool, new workout room, sauna, steam room game room and movie room for the whole family and heated underground parking. We stayed on the top floor and the mountain views were fantastic. The condo was updated and clean. Will definitely come back again.

Excellent location!! Loved the hot tubs and game room. Having the rental location for ski equipment in the same building is such a bonus. Everything in town is walking distance and Quicksilver Lift at Peak 9 directly behind the building is perfect. Had an amazing stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable with great views! Would highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in Breckenridge.

This place is epic. Can’t beat the location, the lift is literally right outside. Had a view of the mountain and enjoyed watching the snowcats groom during the night and the beautiful view at sunrise, and really the entire time. Lots of parking, easy to get in and out of the garage, minus the dofuses that block the entrance because they don’t know the hotel has free 15 min parking spots for guests checking in literally right there. App works great for access, never a problem. Heated pools, hot tubs and rec center were fantastic. Great company and lots of people from all over the world. They have both a steam and dry sauna too. Towels are provided so no need to bring your own. Nice kids pool area. Our room/condo was very spacious, well decorated and with everything we could possibly need and then some. Excellent climate control. Nice bathrooms and showers. Loved the balconies and views from, surprisingly not windy either. Highly recommend this place, worth every penny.

You can’t beat location and amenities, but don’t get room 1205! They have the worst couches, dining chairs, and beds. So old the fluff in all of them is flat. Our room needed major updating, but carpet was new. Hear my advice see if you can request an updated room! Amenities are amazing! Multiple hot tubs and indoor/outdoor pool, very well equipped gym, pool table, pac man, Atari game for kids! So close to rental shop, restaurants, downtown, ski lift. We have stayed in 2 bedroom twice. We prefer Antero building vs Chateaux bc it’s more central.

This is the best location in Breckenridge. Ski/in, ski/out, and in town. You are walkable to so many great restaurants and shopping on Main Street. It is true that the units are individually owned. If you book a premier unit you will have a more updated unit but if you prefer to save money you can opt for the alternative. I saw some of the other reviews about checking in at another location. Apparently, they were struggling with finding help over the summer and this did occur but they are staffed now and someone was always at the front desk when we went by. So we did not have a problem. Health club, pool, and hot tubs are completely new and nice. They even have a game room and movie room. Would definitely stay again

Great location and perfect location! This is the perfect place to stay in Breckenridge right on the slopes and a minute from the middle of town.||We had a blast skiing! The hot tubs are conviently located, plentiful and have beautiful views of the slopes!||I highly recommended the property.

What not to love - ski, eat, drink, sleep on repeat. We got incredible lucky with the weather. Power fresh snow and sunny 10°. Couldn't ask for more

The complex has great amenities- indoor/outdoor pool, multiple hot tubs, fitness center. Rent direct from an owner so you know what you are getting. Many of the units have been updated.

I can not rate this hotel high enough! I stayed in room 2602, looking right over the ski fields. What a place! The apartment was huge!! So roomy and comfortable and that view!!!! Only a 2 minute walk to Main Street for all your restaurants and shops but you are right on the ski field - Peak 9. The pools and hot tubs, game room and gym was amazing. Yeah parking was a little expensive but overall it was worth it. We loved the fact the place had toboggans which we took out every afternoon on the ski fields once they close. I just loved this place and would stay again and again. We booked through booking.com so I think we were lucky to get the room we did? I'm not too sure. I cant wait to go back. If you want central, big and comfortable , this is the place for you!

Great stay during peak season in Breck! Pros: - walk to everything (steps from the quicksilver chair and learning area - 20% epic pass discount - across the street from a coffee house (unraveled coffee and cabin juice restaurant at Gravity Haus) - 4 hot tubs and heated indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, and steam room on first floor - small gift shop on first floor for some necessities/late night snack and beers Cons: - semi-outdated rooms (damp smell, older carpet) - limited parking on site for $50/night or you may be forced to park off-site and take a shuttle for $35/night

This place is so quant and beautiful! Our room was incredible! Amazing Mountain View's! Nice pool and hot tubs. Breckinridge is the most adorable town with so many cute shops and restaurants! I liked it more than Vail!

Will never stay here again. This resort ruined our trip with lack of customer service, outdated rooms, broken closet door, dirty silverware, littering outside of our room. We spent thousands of dollars to stay in a prime location only to get added charges of $300 for parking and $25/day for our room to be cleaned. I do not recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a trip in Breckinridge.

As epic pass holders, I would never suggest or return to this property again. The biggest issue we had was no hot water for showers the entire trip. We were unable to shower our whole trip! We called maintenance after skiing all day about the shower. We were told it would be fixed when we returned from dinner that night. It was not. The next morning we tried to shower and again no warm water. It was ice cold. I wish this was all the problems that we had but let's start from the first night. To begin, our phone was broken. When I asked the engineer, while he was trying to fix our shower, he told me that I had to call the front desk to get connected to housekeeping - whom never answered the phone or returned messages. We called the first night to request extra towels and throughout our whole 3 day stay, no one ever answered the phone or returned our messages. Since we couldn't take showers, we had to use towels to wash ourselves. The staff seemed extremely amateur and offered no solutions, sympathies or alternatives for us. The door under the sink was broken and hanging off when we got into the room. I also found a tiny screw on the floor. Which was very scary considering we had a 1.5yr old with us, who puts everything in his mouth. In addition, the dresser in the room is extremely tall and the drawers fly out when you open them. They are very heavy and my son nearly dropped one on himself. It was a completely safety hazard for us. The morning of check out, we asked for an extended check out due to all the issues and they told us firmly NO. Then she tried to tell us that we could shower at the pool area. After 3 days, when we're checking out, you tell us there's showers there. The manager was also unaware that there was no hot water for the showers when we asked to speak with her the first night. They also would not let us extend our parking at the property. She told us there was $0.50 parking across the street, which was not true. She offered us a $40 refund for the "inconveniences" - which we paid for parking - in addition to our $50 parking. We felt the staff were not equipped with the right tools to manage this property. I hope that Epic will look into this property and hospitality practices further.

This was truly a disappointing experience. The location of this hotel was an absolute dream. We were in the heart of downtown Breckenridge and the ski lifts. We paid about $600 a night for a suite and it was pretty spacious and had a really nice balcony, but the furniture was disgusting. The couches were very old, had rips and shreds everywhere. The futon was thinner than a paper and you could feel every single spring. The water pipes are so old that they make noise all night long. The mattress in the room was also super old and not comfortable to sleep on. The chain lock on the door also did not exist so we didn't feel the safest at night. The jets in the tub were also super rusted and gross looking. The front desk crew were pretty amazing and very accommodating which made up for a lot. For the price and the location I expected a much more updated room.

This resort was exceptional during my stay. I was able to upgrade my room to King size with couch pull out for no additional cost. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned and the right amount of luxury. Would recommend for a small family during the fall months as it's not as crowded as the peak seasons (summer and winter).

The absolute worst hotel in Breckenridge. First of all, it's filthy, not taken care of, amenities not working, and the manger is flippant, rude and disrespectful. She could care less about you as a customer and has the attitude that she really doesn't care because some other sucker will stay there. I would not stay here again if you paid me. Terrible service and cleanliness. The hotel is dated and smells awful and the beds are really uncomfortable. If you're looking for a place to unwind and relax after a long day skiing, this is definitely NOT the place to choose. I think it's up there with worst places I've ever stayed at. I would recommend The Gravity Haus at Breckenridge. Wonderful service, amenities and cleanliness.

I am giving this a 3 star, but for the price and location I would stay again. The good: 5 star location close to main street and right by quicksilver beaver lifts Full kitchen including oven Great heating for those cold nights Free parking The bad: The bed in my room was back breaking, old, and sagging in places. This is exactly what you don't want before snowboarding for 6 hours. The smell is awful in the halls and room, likely due to dated carpet. Given all the snow that is dragged in it likely has some mold too. Service was awful. I put all my trash in a bag every day and the trash sat there piled for multiple days. I only had one housekeeper show up in a 6 day stay.

I have stayed here at least 6 times since 2019. The location is amazing between Peak 9 and Main street. However, the past 3 times has been terrible. Even after talking to guest in the hot tub, many have experienced the same lack of customer service. The last stay we arrived at 4pm. We were told check in "starts" at 4pm but there was no ETA when our room would be available. Even when I told showed the manager the confirmation email they said I should read the fine print on the website. They said they had no parking and still charged us for it. Toaster didn't work, hair dryer didn't work, and shampoo bottles. When I called at 8am to get a new hair dryer the front desk person said he has no idea how long he could get it to us because he was the only one there. I can't go skiing with wet hair! We were told that house keeping was included due to our length of stay. We were charged for housekeeping and when I called to have it refunded they did not take care of it. Highly recommend not staying here as it has gone down hill.

Very convenient location but experienced a high number of issues as the complex ages and is not repaired. Do you like your heating fan turning on loudly every 15 seconds, failing after two seconds, going off, and repeating that cycle nonstop day and night for a whole week? Do you like your main window blocked for the whole week because blinds won't stay up? After traveling all day, lugging all your gear to your room, do you like finding you need to go back down because room keys don't work? That's the experience. Great location, but aging badly and not being repaired.

Catch COVID here! Vail Resorts wants COVID Positive Guests to stay in their properties. I've spent over four hours on the phone this week trying to move my one night stay, due to a positive COVID test. They've given me the run around, made excuses, and asked me to send in my Positive COVID test results. They said they would move the reservation to a later date, but they magically have found a way to pass my calls off for 5 days until the date of my original reservation. If you catch COVID at The Village the you know why.

Absolutely terrible. Deserves no stars. 90 degrees outside and no AC. Windows barely open. Miserable. Have to park blocks away from the hotel. Front staff NOT helpful at all. Really unhappy. Paying for a "Breckinridge" experience and receiving no star service. I would not recommend.

To be honest I couldn't wait to leave this resort. From the second I walked in to the hotel I was disappointed. Parking was an extra 300$ for 5 days which we could've stayed someone nicer at that point. When we walked into the room we were not impressed, super outdated and multiple things were broken. Every time we called the front desk, no answer. We will not come back to this place.

The location to Main Street and the Quicksilver lift is awesome. It's not a true ski in ski out location however. Expect a 3-4 min walk in ski gear to the lift. The room is out dated, the heater does a very loud clicking noise when it's on that will wake you up throughout the night. The bed was comfortable, thankfully! The couch...on man. This couch was the worst I've ever sat on. My leg, my arm and different parts of my body would go numb after awhile. They need to get a new couch!! The staff was friendly and accommodating. They tried to charge us $50 a night for parking (which isn't listed on anything) they changed it to $20 a night because it's not listed. The stay for the price is why I have two stars. You pay a lot to ski and it's a blessing to be able to do it. However, the room could have been updated to 2020 vs 1980s.

First time staying in Brek, last time staying at this hotel! The hotel is extremely dated and in desperate need of a full renovation. Don't let the pics fool you. Considering what you pay for a room here you would expect more. The walls are very thin so if you have neighbors that are a little noisy good luck on trying to sleep. When one of your neighbors closes their door the walls of the hallway shake and the headboards are mounted to the wall so your headboard shakes as well while you're trying to sleep. If you do not rent a condo then you are not allowed to use the pool, hot tub or fitness center. I am an avid weightlifter and still lift weights even when I'm on vacation so this really pissed me off. I asked the guy at the front desk if he could let me in and he told me there was nothing he could do for me. I posted a pic of this lovely chair with a stain on it that was in our room so you know what to expect if you still decide to rent a room here after reading this review.

The only thing this place has going for it is the location! Room was decent, decor adorable, but that's where it begins and ends. Beds all miserable. Amenities were non existent. The gym is a joke. They have a pathetic pool and two hot tubs for a massive complex. Everything is old and outdated. We called twice for different things. Toilet paper and towels. 24 hours or more later someone followed up to make sure we had it received them. I will definitely be looking elsewhere on trips moving forward.

to add to my pervious review about this "hotel" from 7/2/23. they're still charging my card randomly 20 here 39 there. it took me a day and a half of research on the net to find their real phone number to complain,which is ....(970)453 2000...not the 5 others out there in their own emails( which they're happily sending to their customers knowingly.)and here are the pics from the broken stuff...this is obviously not a hotel but a time share suckers from the 80s are trying to get their money back on in the summer months ...and that makes a huge buttfuckathon when you need real hotel services.

No frills hotel that had construction going on when we stayed in June, but we had no issues with our room, it was a great price, and in a great location. Customer service during check-in and check-out was good as well - friendly, helpful front desk employees. Certain amenities were not available due to construction, but they provided you with passes for access to some elsewhere or such, if that interested you. Our room was spacious, and everything was in working order. Parking was plentiful as well (maybe because of less travelers due to COVID or because it was during the week?).

I hate to be cheated and this place took the cake. They CHARGED me for the little shampoo bottles in our room. The charge didn't appear on my card for some time and when I questioned it, the "front desk" stated that there was a card stating that we would be charged if we used the shampoo. No such cards existed and this one really irks me. With covid, we assumed that any shampoo etc. would have to be thrown away when we left after our stay so we dropped them in our suitcase and left with them. Not like this is odd, as these things are complementary in every other condo or hotel in the country. Watch your wallet! these guys are cheats, I recommend that you stay any place else and you will be much happier. Steve

This is one of the best locations in Breckenridge. I stayed in a condo here his summer and loved it. The property is in town within steps of restaurants and shopping. And it is right adjacent to the Breckenridge Ski Resort Quick Silver lift. I imagine it does not get any more convenient than that. The condo that I rented was modern and updated. It had a new kitchen and was nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. Our balcony was spacious and looked right out on to Peak 9 and 10. The property has 4 hot tubs, an indoor/outdoor pool, gym, steam room, and sauna. We rented our condo through Ski Village Resorts and getting checked in was quick and easy. One of our favorite Breckenridge restaurants, Sauce on the Maggie, is in the same building we stayed last time. The property does not allow pets. I asked the front desk about that and they said that owners can bring their pets if they are registered and have a special tag, but guests can not. I wanted to update the review and make sure to explain things a bit better. The Village is actually 6 separate buildings. The Village Hotel is owned entirely by Vail Resorts and consists of small hotel rooms. The other 4 buildings are privately owned condominiums. Thus, the decor varies a lot from one condo to the next. The Peak 9 Inn is all studios. The buildings on the plaza have 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedrooms condos. The other building is the Chateaux; it is newer and the condos are a bit larger. I definitely recommend a studio or larger condo over staying in The Village Hotel; the hotel is cheaper, but they are small and a bit noisy at times. If you rent through Vail's rental program, you will not know which unit you are getting ahead of time. One of the nice things about renting from an alternate company is that you can pick the specific condo that you want and based on the pictures, you know what you are getting. I have rented through Ski Village Resorts, Ski Colorado Vacation Rentals, and Breckenridge Resort Managers and they all provided good service, reasonable prices, and a smooth check-in process. And, I was able to pick the condo that I wanted to stay in ahead of time.

The front desk is a group of friendly helpful staff. The studio we had was dusty, smelled weird and the carpet was stained crunchy and disgusting. Place def needs some upgrading. Carpet should be incinerated. Housekeeping is al la carte.

We stayed here over the weekend for my wedding weekend and this hotel was one of the hotels on my wedding block. From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff was so friendly and kept up with all of our demanding needs such as putting 3 names on a hotel room and even carrying our entire 2 bell carts full of items up to our room (it was in a separate location from the main hotel). The hotel rooms are really clean and if you ever need anything from the front desk, they answer within a few rings and will bring up whatever you need. The hotel is rather large with different wings so they give you direction on where to go if you aren't staying in the main location. I recommend this hotel to anyone and encourage you to stay here for your wedding weekend! You can't beat the location and the valet service is really fast.

I've been coming here for about 20 years and the VAB is usually a place to stay...if you get a great price. If you can grab a studio or multi bedroom room with kitchen for under the going local rate, grab it. I would stay away from a regular room without kitchen. We came during the summer for the BBQ and Bourbon fest. The hotel was pretty full and the staff was struggling at times but overall they did a great job...except the guy who brought towels. He just walked into the room, put the towels on the bed (waved) and walked out...I think our 10 month baby even stopped what he was doing to say, "WTH" ?! Get a package deal, score a good rate and you should be pleased. Expect 3 stars and you may end up with 4 star experience. We would definitely stay again.

After being pretty familiar with Breck for the past couple of seasons, The Village hands down has one of the best locations for ski-in/ski-out. It's less than a five minute walk to the Quicksilver Chairlift, which will take you up to Peak 9. The Village has its own ski rental and shop in the building, making it very convenient to pick up ski/board rentals the day of. It's close to Main Street, meaning that it's so easy to walk across the street for food, a drink, or just some wintertime browsing. The price has increased in the past couple of years, but the management has been doing a lot of developing and remodeling for the rooms and the amenities. They have a great fitness center & hot tubs, incredibly welcoming and friendly service, and incredible views of all the peaks from our rooms (we stayed in room 4507). Will definitely be back in the future!

I was really pleased with our stay at this Resort. We stayed in a three bedroom condo that was perfect and more than what we needed. The staff was nice, the facilities were well kept, it's located walking distance from Main Street, and there were no hidden fees (like mandatory valet). Each bedroom was a good size: one with a king, one with two queens, and another with one queen and a twin daybed. Each bedroom also had a full bathroom, plus there was a half-bath off the entryway. The only less-than-wonderful thing is that one of the bedrooms was more of a loft, which means no door and you can hear everything that goes on in the rest of the condo. There was also a full kitchen (stocked with plates, silverware, and pans), flat screen TVs, balcony overlooking a stream and mountains, fireplace, and a dinning room table for 6. This was perfect for my family because it gave us all our privacy and alone time, but still allowed us some good ol' family bonding time, as opposed to staying in three separate hotel rooms. Not to mention that it was much more affordable, especially for the quality of the stay. A few one-off comments: *The beds are not very comfortable *The parking garages are teeny-tiny and it's almost impossible to park a large car (i.e. SUVs or minivans) *They have granola bars at the front desk that make the perfect snack

There were many good things, but several bad things when it comes to my stay here last month. I will say that the staff is more than friendly, proximity to the mountain is top notch, and there are plenty of places for a drink and a bite to eat close by. Now for the bad. The room that my friend Jon and I stayed in was small, and filthy. The beds had hair from the previous tenant left on the sheets. The room smelled of mold from the old carpet and people tracking snow in over the past 20 years. The bathrooms are so small that you have to stand on the toilet or get in the tub to shut the door. We stayed for four days and the person that would come in to turn the room down would always flip our stuff and kick it around to access the ability to fold down the sheets which weren't changed over the four days. For the price we paid I just expected CLEAN is all. It all comes down to this.. Location Location Location. Couldn't be much closer to the mountain, and I just have to say again that the staff was more than accommodating during our time here. Next time out, I will be choosing a different place to stay, even if it costs a bit more.

Don't you play possum. It's location is perfect: merely blocks walk from downtown Breck. The WiFi is complementary and I am not sure if the televisions worked because I never insomuch as thought of turning them on. Plenty to do in Breck. -----------------------------------------­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­------------------- The lift is several blocks away but this entire area is extremely walkable and they even will drive you there if you are lazy and ask the front desk. (I would tip even though it is complimentary.) There are washers/dryers on each floor; however, they are not very modern and there is no change machine. When I inquired with the front desk about where I could get change: they sent me to the gym (I couldn't find any [change machines]) or to some parking structure that I still am not sure what they were referring to. They definitely didn't make the change for me themselves .... I just went here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/breck-laundromat-breckenridge-2 and called it a wrap. There are also cannabis dispensaries within walking distance for those so inclined. Pro Tip: Smoke while doing your laundry for maximum time management. -----------------------------------------­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­------------------- Location is king when it comes to the Village at Breckenridge Resort (VBR). Other than that, it is rather a bit of a disappointment in the realm of hospitality with the exception of the dude that drove us to the lift (he was super-cool) and the valet guys (always engaging). -----------------------------------------­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­------------------- Rating: Three-stars, "A-OK."

Staff was friendly and accommodated us. We stayed in a three bedroom condo. Booking is always a challenge for us since it's always three couples. We wanted a three bedroom with at least queen/full size beds in each room. Not only did we arrive 5 hours before check in the manager made sure we got exactly what we wanted and allowed us to check in. The view was amazing. I wish we didn't see the top on the "Maggie" building but the lift and mountains were in perfect view. I only wish the unit we stayed in had three bathrooms but we made due with two. They did inform us that there was only one three bed, three bath room in the complex with the right bedding. Good job to the reservation center for setting the right expectations. During our stay the owners of the unit did purchase two new mattresses and requested they be delivered. The office made sure they found the right time to deliver them as to not disturb our stay. No complains here...they were def and upgrade. The kitchen supplies were better than expected and we cooked almost every meal. Overall we were super happy with the room and resort but will stay in Keystone next year due to the closed lifts. Us ladies like to board but also like the closed lifts. Too bad this resort isn't in Keystone.

Can't wait to come back here! Totally beautiful and located in the best spot at Breckenridge! My family stayed in the 2 bedroom condo, totally enough room for 7 since a sofa bed is included in about every room. I see many reviews stating the outdated look of the hotel, but our room had a great updated kitchen and bathrooms that say otherwise. Not only does the hotel have a fitness center and pool, they also have a dry sauna and steam room which was lovely. Though i'm not sure how the hotel building looks like, I highly suggest staying in the condos, it was totally worth every penny!

Worst hotel experience ever. We were led to believe, through online photos , that our 2 bedroom condo was nicely decorated. It was a dump. Terrible parking situation- our 2nd vehicle had to park 1/2 mile away. One elevator for approximately 500 people in our building. Only positive was walk to ski lift.

Stayed for 4 days this August as a mini vacay for my boyfriend's birthday. The place was cute and clean and close to everything in Breckenridge. It wasn't luxury or anything, but we have no complaints!

For our stay we paid $135 / nt plus tax plus the resort fee of $20 / nt. The resort fee includes parking. Our room was a studio with a nice bathroom (toilet and tub/shower were both in separate rooms from the sink), large closet, full kitchen and a comfortable bed. It also has a small wall-mounted TV. The downsides .... the blinds are wooden and didn't block out the light unless you reversed them. But they wouldn't stay in the position. And the refrigerator was really LOUD. We turned off the fridge but couldn't do anything about the light. The location is ideal as the main area starts a block away. We were able to walk to food and activities. We really liked this place and the staff is friendly. They changed our room upon check-in as the room we were originally given looked like the maid tore it apart and then left. Sheets were on the floor. But they apologized and gave us a new room immediately. Granola bars at check-in.

Friendly staff. Nice little things like a bunch of recent DVD s guests can borrow. Right in the middle of things and at the base of peak 9, so you can go room to lift in about five minutes. Buses go all around and there are probably 20 eateries and 10 rental shops within five minutes walking. We took the shuttle and were totally fine without a car, and didn't have to worry about getting a four wheel drive. Room wasn't big, but not tiny, had a mini fridge, but bigger than a cube fridge. Separate toilet and shower are nice when sharing a room. Obviously pricy.

I hardly ever post poor reviews but this one needs to be said. Location is good, it's right at the lift for peak 9 and also walking distance to downtown. Unfortunately our stay there was less than desired. While the staff was friendly, the service definitely needs to be improved on all counts. The building our room was in was being renovated which wasn't communicated to us during booking or at check in. We actually walked around the entire building looking for the entrance because the first door we went to (the correct entrance) looked like you needed a hard hat to walk into. We got in and there were open buckets of paint and scaffolding in the center of the building's lobby. Another guest coming in when we were warned us not to touch the walls because they had gotten wet paint all over there stuff. No "wet paint" signs anywhere. The hallway on our floor was being renovated as well, plastic on the floor, bare dry wall, and lights hanging out of the ceiling attached to wires. Ridiculous but at least it wasn't our room. Well, the kicker was that there was drywall dust covering everything in our room - tables, counters, chairs, etc - and the coffee maker was filled with old grounds. Not cool at all. During check out we had to call twice (second time after waiting over 30 minutes) for a luggage cart to be brought up to our room. Then had to call again for them to bring the car (free valet which is nice) because I was hung up on before I could ask for it during the second luggage cart call. When we finally got down to the main building our car still wasn't there and we waited another 15 minutes after asking the valet to bring it up (no one told them to do it.) Oh, and it was covered in ice and snow because they parked it in an outside lot instead of their own parking garage. We won't be coming back here, but I hope for the sake of others they make improvements on the cleaning and the service.

After leaving The Lodge at Breckenridge because of the disappointing room we paid so much for, we were so pleased when we arrived at The Village. For the same price as The Lodge we got three times the amount of space. This place feels like an actual resort. The staff if very helpful and friendly. The buildings are under construction but you hardly notice it and the updates they are making look awesome so far. This place is very close to Main Street and still has awesome views.

it really depends on what room you get. we were with a big party for a wedding, and a lot of people got really good rooms, and a lot of people got super dingy awful holes in the wall. i got a dingy hole in the wall with a dingy 1 br room. literally everything was uncomfortable or out of date. refrigerators were broken, humidifiers that were provided leaked everywhere, there was popcorn ceiling, furniture was out of date and rickity, it just wasn't very good. it would have been REALLY bad if we planned to stay in the room a lot. tip: the 2 bedroom rooms seemed to be better than the one bedroom rooms or rooms with pullout couches.

First time in Breckenridge and we were fortunate to find The Village by chance. Gorgeous, recently renovated condo in the perfect location. We rarely had to drive anywhere as the city has everything we needed. We almost didn't make the trip due to the peak 2 fire, but so glad we did! Will definitely be back and will stay here again!

Would totally come back here the employee are very helpful and they have four hot tubs and heated pool ;)

5 stars for amazing service! I do customer service training for a living and Steven, the Day Manager (I think) did a great job. He had that nice blend of professionalism and personality that left me with a smile after driving all night to arrive just in time to ski. The hotel itself meets expectations. Clean, newish and with nice enough amenities. Wish I could have stayed longer.

I staid here few times because of the location so close to Main Street. The staff is friendly and very nice . My problem is the the same every time we stay here. The mattresses. If you charge $300 a night for a studio you should really invest in new beds. Impossible to sleep on. Way to soft. I've slept on better beds in Mexico for god sakes. So soft Feels like you sleeping on a air mattress. I won't be back until that's been fixed. It's just not worth it.

I was worried because of the mixed reviews, but our experience could not have been more perfect. After being sick the night before, we got a late start heading to Breckenridge from Denver. By the time we made it to the slopes, all of the parking lots were full. We went to the hotel around 10:30 am to see if they had any options for us, and they ended up checking us in early for no extra charge! Normally I feel like it's impossible to get an early check in at other hotels, but we were relaxing and unpacking by 10:30 that morning. The whole rest of the weekend was great - valet service was so nice and attentive, and everyone at the front desk was more than helpful. And it wasn't just towards us - I noticed them being so over-the-top helpful and courteous to every customer that came through. The location to the town and the slopes could not be beat, and the room was perfect - clean and with a fully stocked kitchen so we could make whatever we wanted. I hope to stay here again next time we go back! It is a little pricey - but the location combined with the extremely wonderful hospitality makes it so worth it.

Very poor experience here. Loud neighbors until 4:00 AM, with front desk management completely unwilling to consider finding another room for us or even asking the neighbors to be quiet. I understand in a place like Breckenridge, management doesn't have to give a solitary crap about its customers. Just know that if you stay here, they don't care about you or your experience. I recommend staying elsewhere in Breck.

We stayed in an independently owned condo within the Villages and were very impressed with the scenery, the staff, and the accommodations. Everyone was helpful and eager to assist us in having a great time. Parking was dedicated to each building, so we could always find a spot. The location was great, we could walk to anything in town and to the Gondola at Peak 8. We also took a stroll from the hotel to top of Peak 10 and then over to Peak 8. Loved the location, loved the Colorado. Great place to go and very family oriented.
