A very delicious coffee place. I took the vegan falafel pita (which I'm not sure was vegan. I think it contains dairy, so make sure if that is something that is important to you). It was very tasty, different from the original falafel (as it was baked), but it was still delicious. Then, I ordered the carrot cake. In terms of taste, it was delicious, but I think the carrot cake layers should be higher. So the cream cheese to cake portions will be better. The place is pricey, but this is Western food, so that makes sense. The service is super good. They are so lonely. Overall, highly recommend!

Professional and kind service. Great atmosphere sitting out the front and watching the street walkers stroll past. Food was exceptional. Great price too. Recommending !

Wonderful service, very accommodating. The lady brought out little jugs of sugar syrup and extra lime juice for me (lime soda), along with extra ice for my companion’s ginger beer (unique taste, very peppery with a long aftertaste – try!). I would have liked a less fudgy crust on the cheesecake, but the taste was good. Drinks were great. Would return for a pleasant hour in a café!

The cafe is fantastic. Happy workers who greet you with a smile and delicious food. We went twice in our short trip the Bahn mi and bread is that good!! Vegan food available - tofu Bahn mi and tofu bagel. Would recommend. They have a great selection of deserts too

I found this place on my way back from the sunrise and was the only one in there which was nice! 😀 Had the scrambled eggs and toast which was nicely done and a pot of English tea served in a proper old fashioned teapot and English tea cup! 😍 A lot cheaper than other places too, $5.50 the lot.

Very cozy place with great cakes (we had the lime cheese cake) and beverages (the hot matcha was beautiful). You can sit inside with aircon or outside in a quiet and beautiful street. Very friendly staff.

We were so over the hotel buffet and this place was a little slice of heaven. Perfect coffee. Have just a pastry or a really nice sit-down breakfast. Then, stroll along the street and treat yourself to something pretty that will remind you of a lovely morning you spent eating a yummy meal and enjoying another perfect day.

I recently had the pleasure of trying the Egg Royal with Salmon at The Village Bakery & Cafe, and I must say it was absolutely delicious. The eggs were cooked to perfection, with a soft and creamy texture that was perfectly complemented by the rich and flavorful smoked salmon. The dish was topped with a sprinkle of herbs and a drizzle of hollandaise sauce, which added a nice touch of sweetness and a touch of acidity to the dish. In addition to the delicious egg royal, I also had a cappuccino, which was equally as tasty. The coffee was rich and full-bodied, with a nice balance of sweetness and acidity. The foam on top was thick and creamy, making it a perfect complement to the dish. Overall, I had a great experience at The Village Bakery & Cafe, and I would highly recommend this dish to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying breakfast option. The service was also great, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu!
