Little Drifter Canberra

Amazing stay, the room was quiet, peaceful, and very relaxing. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff were genuinely friendly. The location couldn’t be better, super easy to walk everywhere and surrounded by great cafés. I loved the big kitchen and the chill common areas, especially the rooftop. Great value overall, and I’d happily stay here again!

I wish I could have stayed longer! What a fantastic hostel. It was clean, quiet, and super comfortable. The kitchen is huge and has ample space for your groceries, a major plus! The staff were also wonderful and made me feel very welcome. Its location is great, close to the tourist center bus station and with a lot of coffeeshops around. Highly recommend!

A very comfortable hostel right in the middle of Cambera. I enjoyed their large and well equiped kitchen, their rooftop, their laundry facilities, and the very confy bean bags. The only downside is having to use your phone as the key all the time. And it would be nice if they added some possibility for clothes drying on the roof top.

• No onsite parking available for guests • No ability to adjust or control the bedroom’s air‑conditioning temperature • Noise from the common area is easily heard inside the bedroom Although we had hoped to enjoy our stay at Little Drifter, our experience was unfortunately far from restful. Guests in the common area were loudly disruptive at around 3–4 a.m., and no intervention was made by hotel staff. The lack of consideration from these guests and the absence of any response from management left us feeling both disrespected and unsafe during our stay.

Highly recommend this clean, modern hostel. Lots of communal spaces, good kitchen set up, friendly staff and guests. I noticed the shared female toilets have a keypad lock on the outer door which is great for women’s safety. We stayed in a family room which was really well designed for six people to use at once — lots of easy to access hidden storage, hooks for every towel, mirrors, clever fold out desk and chair, mini fridge and shelves. I’d stay here again for sure.

Just a stone’s throw away from Canberra’s top attractions, The Little Drifter is the perfect budget place to stay in the Australian capital. Add movie nights, comfy beds and super friendly staff to the mix, and you got an unbeatable combination that is certainly worth the price. Recomended!

This place was an amazing stay!! Clean beds. Great atmosphere!! We stayed here with drift cadet and they were so welcoming and amazing to us! We worked at Summernats so we came back very tired and we would stay here again!!!
