Food: Great - had the PB&J cookie on Saturday: would trade one of my kidneys for it Today: choc brownie (see picture. Was delicious) Flat white, cappuccino with this or that milk also great. Bonus points: Music. Idles on Saturday and today on Tuesday full on 3 albums of the boss. Bruce Springsteen nonstop & no song skipping. Lovely, thank you. See you again soon

The best cafe I've been to in the Netherlands! They not only have incredible coffee that's roasted by them, but the location in Utrecht is incredibly cozy, artsy, and awesome to spend time in. Everyone I've brought here has been so impressed!

Coffee shop with tattoo shop vibes! Great coffee and chai latte! Cookies and croissants are also delicious! Staff is also super nice! They also have a few tables outside! There is no WiFi, but it’s still a good place to read or work (if you don’t mind a bit of music in the background)!

One of the best coffee shops in Utrecht. Fantastic service and friendly owners. It is a rock themed coffee shop and rock music and memorabilia dominate the atmosphere. Despite this, it's not over the top and it's a vibey place to be. Really great coffee and a good selection of freshly baked pastries. I'll definitely be back here when I return to Utrecht in the future.

The coffee was great and so was the PB&J cookie! Definitely recommend. Staff is excellent! I was only in town for another hour and I asked one of the guys working there what I could in Utrecht during this time and he was such a great guy, he pinned me on google maps a route that he likes to walk as well, around a beautiful park they have there. If you are reading this, guy with the route, thanks a million! It was great!

Finally a coffee shop without WiFi! And the pastries are amazing. I only drink the filter coffee but I guess the other options are better than you’ve had before. They roast their own beans people! They gotta be doing something right.

the coffee is really great, smooth but bold flavours with distinct notes. don’t miss out on the pastries either, i had the gluten free cookie and i just had to get another one. the atmosphere is very pleasant and the really good music definitely made me stay for a few hours to study! definitely come check it out when in utrecht :))

Visited The Village, a café conveniently located on Voorstraat in Utrecht. The atmosphere is a unique blend of rock and tribal vibes, mixed with an industrial aesthetic, creating a distinctive and inviting space. I tried their Iced Latte, which was good, quite refreshing and balanced. I also sampled their Hazelnut Cookie, which was a pleasant surprise—deliciously flavorful without being overly sweet, making it a perfect companion to the coffee. The café itself is cozy, offering both indoor and outdoor seating options, depending on your preference. Whether you’re into café hopping or just looking for a cool spot to relax, The Village is definitely worth a visit.

One of my favorite places to stop and grab a latte in Utrecht. The baristas are all very nice, the atmosphere is fresh, cozy, and fun, and the music makes the place. The lattes I've gotten are amazing, and the pastries are SO good too. In the back, there's also a bunch of board games you can play to distract from the hustle of daily life. Definitely stop in, you won't regret it. Haven't been able to find another place like it.

Just made a stop there for the breakfast while visiting Utrecht. They are really nice and I ate the best appel pie of my life! Cosy and friendly place for coffee lovers.

I adore this place not just for their excellent coffee, but for the decor, atmosphere, service, and the spirit of what coffe houses should be. Urban hipsters, this is definitely a place for you!

Friendly crew pulling the levers on the old steam engine here and a really nice vibe through the shop. They serve a pretty decent flattie, its a bit of a twist on the typical antipodean serves (think regular cup or small dependant on your locale but city rules so its a regular you subanites and your buckets of milk) as a double ristretto in a small cup but then I'm sure I've read somewhere this is how it should be done, and this shop is run by hard out Dutch hipsters they are even more hipster then the Sydney new wave hipster, but on about par with the Melbourne original Hipster type C. None of which of course compare to the NYC lower East Side actually addicted to heroin/don't listen to any form of music or speech as its too mainstream Type A Hipster but then hey who'd want too right? anyway I digress. This shop is highly recommended and a hot chocolate with a mountain of whipped cream on top, combined with my caffeine fix made for a pleasant stroll through the adjoining textile market. Happy Saturday.

The Village Coffee & Music has been on Utrecht scene for a while and from the first time I had coffee there I fell in love. Well, first of all, the guys working there are just the rock stars of the coffee world. Second, the coffee is just truly delicious, every cup is good and never ever I was disappointed. Even though The Village opened in 2011, the place and the team stay up to date, stylish and creative. The interior itself is simple, somewhat hipster with interesting details and some vintage furniture. You'll also find there some merchandise for sale (coffee, accessories, t-shirts, music) and always a good book or a magazine to read. As I understand they use Caffenation roasted coffee from Antwerpen, but there is a plan to have their own place to roast. There's hardly any food, some cakes and cookies, which are good, but you'll hardly go to the Village for a real lunch. It's about the coffee, remember! The only disadvantage is that too much people know how awesome their coffee is, so it's always busy. Despite that The Village guys are always fun and attentive, and if you can't find a place inside, grab a cup to-go anyway. Friendly baristas that have a lot of knowledge about everything coffee related. The baristas make this place, friendly and passionate about coffee. Really enjoy that they have a new coffee blend every time I visit. Cozy, welcoming hipster atmosphere

The coffee here is great, might even be the best in all of Utrecht. Even when it's busy, it doesn't take long for them to get you your coffee. Barristas are usually in for a talk, even sometimes they might seem a bit full of themselves. If you don't mind making your coffee a to-go (it's usually too crowded to find a seat) this is as good as it gets.
