The location was perfect for our trip, but that’s about where the positives end. There is absolutely ZERO cell service and no WiFi. I’m not exaggerating — my phone was basically a decorative brick I lugged around all weekend. Felt like I was transported back to the 1800s, which might have been charming if I wasn’t trying to coordinate with friends for a wedding.
On top of that, the AC pumped out funky-smelling air and there was visible mold in the vents. Not exactly the kind of “rustic” experience anyone’s looking for. And for what you pay? Honestly, way overpriced.
To make things extra fun, they tell you to call the front desk if you need the shuttle… but joke’s on you, because they don’t actually pick up the phone (not that you’d have service anyway).
Location = 10/10. Amenities = somewhere around “don’t breathe too deep and hope you don’t need Google Maps.” Bring a compass, a gas mask, and maybe a carrier pigeon if you need to get in touch with anyone.
