The Vitamin Shoppe

I usually go to the VS in Fairfax as that’s closer to my house but stopped by the Tysons store today since I was in the area and was blown away by the customer service I received from the associate at the counter. He said he was a personal trainer and his knowledge on L-Carnitine was super helpful in picking a brand out. We then chatted some more about gym related things at the register. Really great customer service and left excited about the items I purchased!

Whatever you are looking. Well designed easy to find and manage.

Also checked this store for sale items. They tend to have items I woyldnt find at other stores

The customer service at this location is outstanding! They go above and beyond the call of duty. I have been shopping at their store for years. Recently my protein bars have been out of stock. I received a call out of the blue letting me know that one box came in and that they were putting it aside for me. This level of service is few and far between. Unsolicited follow up and customer needs understanding is not a common activity in our current environment. Hats off to the staff and management. I am a customer for life! VC

loved the options. This was way better than ordering online. Theguy at the counter working late on Thursday was very helpful. You can find so much at a good price. I think its woth it to be a vitamin shop member for the perks. They also had sucralose free options

This store is no different from the others. The staff is pretty helpful. But nothing there is worth the money. Their prices are outrageous, and I really don't know how they are still in business when you can easily get most, if not, all of their products on Amazon or some other online retailers. Unless your looking for the vitamin shoppe brand of products, you should save your money and look online.

These guys always have what I want in stock. The salespeople are very knowledgeable and tuned into popular products for health and fitness enthusiasts. They have, thoughtfully, talked with me about goals and preferences, and recommended compatible products with an eye to advanced sciences and research. Love the Shoppe!

It’s 6:39 pm and the store is currently closed meanwhile online it states the hours are until 9:00 pm.

These guys have been great. I was there today, Sunday 5/25/25 and nobody is there. A sign said they would be back in five minutes, but no one ever showed.The phone number goes to a dead voicemail.

So glad they have Prime sports drink powders in. These are difficult to find, but Vitamin Shoppe comes through. A much healthier and better option than Gatorade, and as someone who scarily learned how important electrolytes are, a must have for fitness endeavors. Nice employees here as well. This store can be challenging to get in and out of, but considering where it's located, they aren't alone on this. Whey protein powder and other products have increased in price. Some of this is inflation, but my recommendation, is to get that elsewhere. They do have some good supplements though. Those of us in the fitness community, will find what we are looking for here. If you like a clean and organized store, this one gets high marks.

Their customer service is impeccable so I will continue giving this company my business. Bought protein powder online and didn't agree with my stomach so they accepted a return in store with no issues. The store associate helped me select another product that didn't give me issues. Happy customer!

I called the 800# to place a large order for OVERNIGHT delivery. I expressed my concern and how important that the order arrive overnight. I further explained if for ANY reason it would not go overnight I would drive to the nearest location, buy the vitamins direct, and ship myself. Women ASSURED me under no uncertain terms it would definitely make it next day. I tried to track the shipment but the number in the email said the tracking number was invalid. With that I called to find out where the order was and they proceeded to tell me it would arrive in 4 days...FURIOUS!!!! i requested my money back so I could go to the local shop, duplicate the order, and ship them out. They refused and said "They don't do that" I will be disputing this with my credit card company but with my family in need I really didn't need the added stress....Shop ELSEWHERE!!!

Sad store with rude arrogant staff. Try being nice to them and they will be rude to your face. If you really want to hurt them, order online and have it shipped to your home. The store won't get the sale, and corporate will eventually shut them down.

I like this place. Wait for the in-mail coupons then come here and apply it to the on sale items for an even bigger discount. They are nicely organized, great location and is my favorite go to place in Virginia.

The Old Gallows store is a great Vitamin Shoppe location. Logically laid out, well-lit, extremely clean and organized. Bob (I think he is the manager) is extremely kind and helpful. I never feel pressured to make a purchase here, but am confident I can receive help from the salespeople if I need it. The prices are generally higher than many online merchants, but keep an eye out for the sales as they often bring the prices to the same as the online suppliers. One thing to note is that the store inventory and pricing is not the same as the Vitamin Shoppe website. I like to come here when I want to sample protein bars or certain protein powders since they sell trial sizes of many popular brands. Vitamin Shoppe carries a good selection of flavors of many popular supplements. Ironically, I've never actually shopped for vitamins at Vitamin Shoppe, so I can't speak to their inventory, but have seen some quality products. I am excited to see this location carrying Buff Butter products and will stop in to buy a jar when I run out of my P28. Parking is decent, but set up a little strangely.

My home location is sandwiched between two Vitamin Shoppes: this one and the Bailey's Crossing store. I was excited to make a small purchase I've been putting off for a while, but I wish I had chosen to make my purchase at the other store tonight. I was disappointed by the service I received from Mandy, the associate at the cash register. When I entered the store, I was not greeted. Jeff, another associate, was in the back of the store and greeted me once I made it to the middle of the store. He also assisted me with my finding my items. As he was educating me on a product, Mandy rudely interjected with comments to Jeff about operational tasks. Once I was ready to check out, Mandy did not look up from the computer to assist. Jeff had to inform her I was ready to check out. The one other customer that was in the store was exiting as I was entering the store. As the only customer in the store, I expected service to be a little better. Maybe Mandy was just having an off night. I appreciate Jeff for his assistance, and I was impressed with the cleanliness of the store. I hope this Sweet Sweat Trimmer works--excited to try it!!!

This Vitamin Shoppe is great. I stop by this place often for all my supplement needs. I am fairly health conscious, I go to the gym 5 days/wk, box, and do CrossFit so my body needs all the help it can get to keep up now that I'm in my 30s (uggghhhH!). I get everything from the basics (protein) to the more extreme things such as natural testosterone boosters (Animal Stak). No matter what I get, the employees there are always friendly and they've tried A LOT of the products so I can always ask them what they thought about the results or the taste. They also get a lot of feedback from customers like me so they are always willing to share that knowledge as well. Selection is VERY good. Prices are not excellent but not bad. It's competitive with most online resellers and since this store is just down the street from my home, it's much easier to just stop here and get what I need.

I really like the convenient location (they have parking too!) and the staff is always super helpful. Today I went in looking for something to help with my joint pain and the manager on duty was able to go through their selection with me. I like how they have a wide range of supplements to fit your athletic to homeopathic needs. I've purchased things to help with my workouts to supplements to help me sleep. The store is well lit and neatly organized so it is pretty easy to find things. Don't feel like looking around? The friendly staff will point you in the direction you want to go.

I was searching for viamins for myself and my family. Even though I had researched online on what I needed you tend to get overwhelmed by the variety and size of a speciality vitamins store. I was greeted by a salesperson who had " Health Enthusiast" pinned on his shirt. He had precise information on different supplements and made my shopping a breeze. It felt great shopping here. I had been to another store on Maple Avenue before ( Different Chain) and had walked out dissappointed. Vitamin Shoppe guys are really professionsl.

This location has gone from just OK to excellent in the last year. I come here every couple weeks to stock up on some "essential" fitness supplements. My favorite employee is Omere. He knows everything about every product and used to be a personal trainer before he broke his leg in a motorcycle accident. Almost anything you may need can be found here and if they don't have it they can order it.
